This includes the use of technology, both for the purpose of education itself, and for the measurement, evaluation and understanding of adult learning through data-based methods. As stated in the ""Review and analysis of practices with open educational resources in adult education in Europe"" (ECJRCIPTS, 2013) OREs did not have a wider application in the field of adult education and lifelong learning, there are few good practices in the use of OERs in the field of adult education. In order to take action and take advantage of the benefits of OERs, society requires a much better understanding of the factors affecting the use of them. The high effort put into awareness-raising activities is underestimated and it is usually assumed that OERs will spontaneously attract a large number of users. Unfortunately, adults are largely unaware that such resources exist and that they can be used in a lifelong learning process. In connection with the above problems, the idea of this project was born in partner organizations operating in the field of adult education in Poland, Lithuania and Italy. The partnership has identified the need for lifelong learning and peer-review between adult teachers / trainers to exchange experiences and good practices in the use of ICT and OERs in adult education in the field of 8 key competences. The objectives of the project were:- supporting the professional development of adult teachers / trainers using ICT and OERs- developing more attractive adult education initiatives- encouraging the use of open educational resources in the adult education process, especially in the area of teaching key competences- participation in raising awareness on OERs issues at the local, national and European level- the use of good practices and European experience at the local level. The aim of the project was to create a space for collecting, sharing and presenting the most effective existing OERs developed under transnational projects financed from various sources. This exchange took place as part of three short-term joint training sessions for 15 teachers / trainers / educators for adults. The project included 150 direct and indirect participants in 3 partner countries.Partner organizations from Poland, Lithuania and Italy deal with adult education on a daily basis: Centrum Edukacji i Badań Społecznych (PL), primarily in the area of developing and strengthening social and civic competences, Social Investment Management Center (LT) in the field of developing civic, language competences and cultural in local communities, Nkey in terms of language and digital competence. The project's results include: increasing the motivation and competence of project employees to work in OER in their daily work with adult students; increasing the ability and professionalism to work at EU / international level: improved management competences and internationalization strategies; increasing the quality in the preparation, implementation, monitoring and monitoring of EU / international projects; increasing the quality in the preparation, implementation, monitoring and monitoring of EU / international projects; increased level of professional skills of adult educators in the use of ICT and OER."

The implementation of strategies for mitigation and adaptation on climate change is mostly significant at sub-national and local level, where the efforts of local and regional authorities are essential. A resilience perspective on climate change emphasizes learning, self-organization, and flexibility as crucial ingredients for navigating complex feedbacks, thresholds, and system changes. Surveys shows, there is no clear understanding of the citizens what actions helps to fight climate change what not. This raises the question of the continuity of actions and their sustainability. Southern Europeans are particularly concerned about the impacts of climate change and see it much more as an immediate threat. They also believe it is mostly caused by human activities. On the contrary, northern Europeans are less worried about climate change and less convinced of the impact of human activities. Because of those differences there is a need for deeper analysis of the methods which local organizations are using to rise public awareness and encourage change at daily life of the citizens. Forward-looking learning and decision-support tools that involve high uncertainty are needed for project partners more than ever. The challenge is to assess how and when people learn to manage climate change, absorb shocks, take advantage of new opportunities, adjust, or completely alter their lives and livelihoods. Objectives: The project draw upon key facets of iterative learning and reflection that may facilitate anticipation and experimentation in practice. The main objective of the project is to improve practical skills and teaching methodologies and approaches of trainers, especially who works with 35+ age adults, on the concept of climate change: >by promoting and providing learning and development opportunities for local communities, organisations and individuals; >by offering increased opportunities for the development of professional capacity and active participation of educators and supporting the adoption of an integrated strategy on climate change at local level; >by increasing awareness and sensitivity to climate change issues to a specific groups of target audience.Participants: >30 participants from Italy, Spain, Poland, Lithuania and Romania (staff, teachers, trainers and other) will be involved to the project directly. They should have a theoretical background in the field of environmental education and active citizenship or intend to acquire more expertise in the areas mentioned above. Approximately 100 participants will be involved at the project at local level. Description of activities: The project will develop, test and share tools and methods enriching each curriculum of each participants, in order to support them in the spreading of a creative and innovative culture on climate change. Tools will be exchanged on a web-platform that can facilitate to learn how to apply creative thinking and to develop the capacity for innovation on climate change. The project will establish a permanent network in each local context, bringing different actors and services together to create an effective support mechanism between key stakeholders.Methodology: The educational approaches will follow the principles of non-formal education, mainly through using experiential learning where participants learn from one another and explore the themes through inputs, discussions and counselling activities. Specific tools able to strengthen the professional profile of the teaching professions will be published to support this process and to guarantee a large replication potential. All results will be shared on an interactive website platform, through publications and study programmes, and seminars in each of the local context involved in the project. The project will develop, test, adapt and implement practices relating to: >learning and teaching methodologies and approaches for trainers, focusing on climate change; >comparative analysis of models and approaches on education and communication on climate change; >strategic use of open and already available information and educational resources on climate change; >outreach activities between organisations in different education, training and environmental sectors.Long-term benefits: The approach adopted by the project has been designed for enhancing the quality and relevance of the learning offer in education and training by supporting the exchange of best practices on adaptation and mitigation strategies for climate change. More specifically the project will offer a complementary and permanent support to the more consolidated communication campaigns on climate change, by improving the capacities of organisations active in the fields of education and training, notably in the areas of environmental development and targeted activities for specific groups.

This ""toolbox"" is dedicated to all those associations, schools, public bodies that in small communities are involved in teaching the language to migrants and, more generally, in promoting integration and promoting mutual knowledge.description of undertaken activities; In the TOOLBOX there is everything you need to introduce virtual reality in your projects aimed at adult education in the intercultural and linguistic fields. The educational material is organized in three sections: the MAKE VR VIDEO section contains simple guides on how to create VR videos and write your own script, the DIDACTIC UNITS section contains the pilot learning units of intercultural and foreign language teaching along with some videos VR made by partners; finally in the third MANUAL section a complete guide to the integration of virtual reality in the teaching of intercultural and foreign languagesresults and impact attained;Using virtual reality in the field of language learning can become the key to speed up the integration process especially for all those people who come to our countries without having adequate instruction and therefore presenting more difficulties in learning a foreign language with classical methods. On the other hand, virtual reality can be an extremely effective way of creating that empathy necessary for mutual understanding and acceptance of the other. Living, even for a few minutes, as an immigrant catapulted into an unknown world, where he’s not understood and where he doesn’t understand, sometimes derided or, even worse, abused, can be the only way to make these two worlds feel closer.if relevant, longer-term benefits.Creating that empathy necessary for mutual understanding and acceptance of the other."

Young people have a greater propensity to any ICT tool and this is both an opportunity – especially for education- and a threat as many youngsters fall in dangerous addictions to games, social media networks etc. with serious long-term effects. One of the most dangerous effect is youngsters’ isolation in front of a computer, that leads to an even higher disengagement in social and civic life, with negative impact both as individuals and community. The risk that young people will alien in front of the computer is greater in a period of pandemic, when we are forced to stay home.On the other side, Young Europeans do value democracy but the way young citizens get involved in the democratic life is changing and the challenge consists in helping the younger ones to find a proper way –closer to the millennials style– to be active in the civil life of communities.Fondazione Toscana Sostenibile (Italy), Asociatia Pro-Xpert (Romania), Mobilizing Expertise (Sweden), CEBS (Poland) and Real Time Video Ltd (UK) works to find out new strategies to inspire young people and involve them in the civil life and to find together with their young participants new ways to shape their role in the decision-making process. In this framework, the idea to use participatory videos and Virtul Reality arises with the objective to:1.Foster youth participation in the civil life and in general promote citizenship competences for a democratic culture by offering innovative and interactive non-formal educational instruments 2.Develop skills related to communication and ITC since a group of 20 youth workers will learn to make videos using VR with the purpose to involve young citizens in active participation to the democratic life. Creativity and a reflection on democratic life issues to develop the contents of the messages. Technical competences to create the videos using VR.3.Implement high quality learning opportunities tailored to the needs of individuals - especially from different marginalised groups (that are more difficult to reach and involve)4.Promote the international dimension of non-formal education for a democratic culture The project addresses the following needs:A) of youth workers:-Improving qualification and expertise of youth workers dealing with youth -Develop high-tech and interactive training methodologies that should be tailored to the needs and background of young learners-Set up new inclusive pathways to bring young people closer to policy-makers and to the decision-process finding out new strategies and methodologies closer to the style of millennialsB) of young people:-To have their needs considered and included in the decision-makers agenda-To be included in creative activities that give them the chance to express their emotions, potential and aspirations-To be active protagonists in the civil life of their communitiesTarget group is composed by: - Youth workers looking for new and creative approaches to help younger ones to be key players in facing the challenges of pandemic;- Young people aged 18-26 in contact with each partner organization: they will be involved during the preparatory work in their communities and a group of 25 (5 per partner) will take part in the blended activity.
