The Fifth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2013) concluded that the warming since the mid-20th century has predominantly been due to greenhouse gas emissions from human activities, in particular the combusition of fossil fuels, agriculture and other changes in land use. The project aims to increase the knowledge and awareness on the climate change with reference to the environmental realities of World. The main inspiration of the project is the determination of young people, who want to create an awareness campaign at national and international level. Young people from four country, Iceland, Turkey, Spain and Argentina, who are environmentalist or are interested in some way familiar with the situation, through social media, school or studies, will share their experiences with peers and discuss the impact of life in order to find a common ground with the focus on climate change in World.The main objectives of the project are:- awareness raising of interdependence of the quality between climate change, environment and the quality of life through the adoption of behavioural changes for the protection of environment-to build self-confidence in young people to become decision makers and practioners in their own lives.-to bring disadvantaged young people into advantageous position in communities.-to promote the use of ICT tools in order to ensure that young people can show their talent.-to provide awareness of multilingualism and EU citizenshipThe project will have two capacity building activity meeting and two youth mobilities. The first capacity building activity meeting will take place in Argentina(C1), first youth mobility will be in Argentina(YE1), second youth mobility will be in Spain(YE2) and the second capacity building activity meeting will be in Iceland(C2). C1(Capacity Bldng. Meeting-October2019)/Argentina Introducing partners, presentation of project methodology, activities Plaining and organizing of YE1 and YE2. Sharing of tasks between partners and final planning of YE1 and YE2. Each country will join with 2 person.YE 1takes place in Argentina in February 2020 and last for 7 days. Seven youngs and two group leaders, total of 28 youngs and 8 group leaders, will join. Theme is to bring awareness to youngs about climate change and global warming.YE2 takes place in Spain in June 2020 and last for 7 days. Seven youngs and two group leaders, total of 28 youngs and 8 group leaders, will join. The specific aim of GIM is to build competences of youth workers in order to empower inclusion, active participation and entrepreneurial skills of fewer opportunities youth, as well as youth who have minor disabilities, from South America and Europe, excluded on behalf of their impairment, social status, financial status or education.Our objectives are (1) fostering empowerment - active participation and sense of entrepreneurship of fewer opportunities youth and (2) promoting social inclusion of this target group aged 18 to 25 years old in their countries through developing comprehensive NFE educational methods and techniques by deploying a complementary set of knowledge, experience and specialised competences embedded in the different partner organisations and regional approaches. In the same time we are bridging involvement of successful entrepreneurs and youth/social workers and the target youth for inspiring entrepreneurial dialogue and action taking amongst NGOs and their beneficiaries. The applicant and Peruvian NGO will involve youth who have minor visual impairment. Youth unemployment: considering the statistics of Eurostat the rates of unemployment among youth in RO are 20,6% and in IT 37,8%. At the other end of the World Peru rates at 16,3% and Argentina 22,1% according to World Bank.Youth at risk of poverty and social exclusion: the situation of poverty among youth is critical around the World, and taking into account OECD report 2016 Argentina rates at 17% and Peru 20%, but the numbers can be higher due to relative statistical data from the authorities. In the European countries Eurostat measured in 2014 the risk at 44% in RO and 35,2% in Italy. Youth with any disability: according to WHO, over a billion people (15% of the World’s population) are estimated to live with some form of disability. According to Eurostat 2014 young people reporting a disability (aged 15-34) not in employment and not in any education rates, with longstanding health problem and basic activity disability RO 75%/ IT 48%, and limitation on the basic activity RO 62%/ IT 40%. According to the World Bank Report on Disabilities in the Latin American Continent in 2010, the percentage of people with disabilities is at 10% of the population across the continent. In order to treat the problem of hate speech both online and offline, new skills and competences for youth workers are needed. Project “Power to Change” emphasizes exactly that – the power that youth workers, organization and specifically young people have to make a change on a global and local level through unified and joint action. Hate Fighters Network would like to implement the project in cooperation with Udruga Impress Daruvar from Croatia, IDA Network from Bulgaria, Organisation for Strategic Development in Africa (OSDA) from Ghana, Beyond Borders from Italy, SPPMD from FYR of Macedonia, Círculo Raíces Sardas from Argentina and Hellenic Youth Participation (HYP) from Greece . Hate Fighters Network would like to increase the skills and knowledge of the youth workers of consortium organizations at two levels: the use of different creative methods in youth work and the use of counter and alternative narratives as a tool to combat hate speech in the work with young people. Aim: To increase the number of peace-building and combat against hate speech activities in Europe, Latin America and Africa and develop a pool of youth workers competent in this field Specific objectives• To build the capacities of 25 youth workers to use creative methods of dance, music, photography and mobile reporting in work with young people • To involve 320 young people in the peace building activities through testing of newly acquired skills for the use of creative methods in youth work • To develop competences of 25 youth workers to use counter and alternative narratives to combat hate speech and to strengthen the response to hate speech through human rights education by making use of counter and alternative narratives • To train 160 young people on the taking action against hate speech through counter and alternative narratives and increase the number of the local trainers in participating countries motivating them to become active in the combat against hate speech • To network over 200 youth workers from Europe, Latin America and Africa empowered with new methodologies to work with youth in these 3 continents Activities:1.
