"""Going green throughout Europe"" is a project planned in the field of Education for Sustainable Development, it deals with a theme of the Europe 2020 Strategy for the promotion of smart, inclusive and sustainable economic growth. In this context of innovative development, the European training systems have had the task of spreading a knowledge towards the Green Economy among the younger generations, in order to stimulate, in the citizens of tomorrow, behaviors that are more respectful of environmental issues and the protection of their own territories. The project involved 3 European schools (IIS ""Focaccia"" Italy, ""Sfanta Ecaterina"" Technological High School Romania, Secondary School ""St. Kliment Ohridski"" Bulgaria) their task has been the spreading of green culture, in order to stimulate a profound change in the lifestyles of citizens, starting with the territories in which they live. The energy issue turned out to be one of the strategic priorities in the training offer plans of the partner institutes, which emphasized the policies for implementing renewable energy sources and for raising awareness and education on energy saving. The main aim of the project plan involved the creation and design of an app to calculate the virtuosity of each Institute in terms of energy saving, but for the spreading of the pandemic situation, there has been the creation of a padlet (https://padlet.com/procidaroberta/reenqllchpwe) where the results of the research carried out by the students on renewable energy sources and urban waste disposal systems in the three countries of origin were reported. The specific objectives pursued during the 36 months of the project can be summarized in the following points:-to enhance students' digital-technical skills and influence their employment capacity;-to enhance knowledge in the field of green energy and environmental sustainability;-to stimulate students to adopt environmentally friendly behaviour;-to enhance transversal and linguistic skills;-to improve the key competences, especially as concerns the social and civic ones;- to promote cooperation between students and school systems of different countries;-to enhance the levels of internationalization of schools with a view to opening up to the European context. Each mobility was attended by 24 students (8 per partner institute), aged between 15 and 18 years. The direct beneficiaries of the project were therefore 72 students (24 per Institute). The preparatory activities to each mobility, were carried out in extra-curricular time, during the first two mobilities, lasting 7 days each (including travel), the students involved were also engaged during school hours. The third mobility has been carried out online because of the Covid spreading . The students of the three school partners have worked together developing online activities. The project activities of each individual school have given the possibility to participate to all 24 students interested in the project. In addition, 4 teachers for school participated in the project, 2 as teachers of specific subjects and 2 for project coordination. The project was developed through a methodology based on educational activities which included: - readings on the themes of the project; - gamification and creative activities to bring students closer to the issues of education for sustainable development; - IT laboratory activities in view of the development of applications, which have enhanced the technical and digital skills of the students; - analysis and research on renewable energy sources and urban waste disposal systems in the three countries of origin of the schools involved;- group activities to develop students transversal skills related to respecting tasks and responsibilities, to make them able to solve difficult situations, knowing how to manage the time available for the delivery of a product and knowing how to work to achieve the fixed objectives . The impacts achieved were assessed through the administration of a questionnaire (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/12Ut6Im20SvwpOjKDBx25_Uc4hAI6vWBP54OXPuq-CLo/edit) - enhancement of technical-digital skills and analysis and data collection for 80% of participants; - enhancement of language skills for 80% of participants; -increasing critical thinking and active citizenship levels for 100% of participants; - development of analytical and research skills for 70% of the participants; -awareness of environmental and energy issues for 95% of the participants. The project has set itself as a medium-long term objective the substantial improvement of the training and teaching offers of the schools involved, with the main aim of stimulating students to make greater use of digital tools and to raise their awareness on sustainable development issues."

"“E. L.E.A.RNING. - European schooL practicEs for teAching and leaRNING of maths” was designed to identify and to share methodologies for the teaching and learning of the scientific subjects declared by the European Commission essential for personal fulfillment, active citizenship, social inclusion and employability in the society of knowledge of the 21st century. It was born, also, considering the learning difficulties encountered by the students that are attending a course in one of the partner schools and how these difficulties are common in many other European schools. For this purpose E. L.E.A.RNING. will use both online activities and mobilities activities. More specifically, the project will include the implementation of the following educational activities: 1 training event totally addressed to 8 teachers (2 per partner school) to analyze laboratories and / or innovative teaching methodologies able to favor the learning of technical-scientific disciplines; 8 CLASSROOM MEETINGS in which each school autonomously will prepare the participants to face the themes of the project. The first meeting will be used to prepare the presentation of the school that will be shared with other schools, the next 5 meetings, will be used to prepare the activities to be carried out during mobility (as it can be seen from the description of learning each national group will be responsible for the preparation of specific activities) and to reflect on the concepts learned. Finally, meetings 7 and 8 will be used to prepare the presentation activity for student of years3rd and 4th. 6 VIRTUAL MEETINGS, realized through the eTwinning platform, which will address a total of 60 students (15 per school) of the third and fourth classes. The first two meetings were conceived as moments in which the students will be able to get to know each other and deepen the school system present in the other countries, while the next four will provide a suitable preparation to face the mobility; 4 mobility that will be based on the relations of the mathematics with other disciplines (mathematical applications in robotics, relations between Mathematics and Biology, use of mathematics in art, and the link between mathematics and music) and will be structured in order to exploit the concept of ""peer to peer education"". The project will have a direct impact on the participants (teachers and students) and on the schools. Teachers will be able to learn different educational systems from the one in which they teach. Thanks to the preparation received before the mobility (made up of a linguistic and cultural training) and to the mobility, moreover, they will have the possibility to improve their linguistic, informatics, didactic and cultural skills, learning innovative teaching methodologies suitable to stimulate learning of scientific subjects. Finally, for them the knowledge of other colleagues, will be an opportunity to start new collaborations at international level. Students will improve their knowledge in mathematics, reflecting and becoming aware of how this discipline apparently abstract actually finds application in numerous other contexts of daily life. In addition for them, the analysis carried out on professional outcomes related to scientific studies will be important, since it can be considered as a first job orientation activity. E. L.E.A.RNING will also represent an opportunity to meet peers of other nationalities with whom to discover new cultures and communicate in a foreign language. The expected results on the students are actually summarized in the following points: - Increase of 5% of the results (votes) achieved in mathematics; - Improvement of language skills (expects an improvement in the ability to communicate in English in 50% of participants). In the medium to long term, educational institutions will be able to make use of the new skills acquired by teachers to start a renewal of their training offer. Finally, at a European level, the project intends to make its contribution (albeit minimal) in the way of considering mathematical knowledge, which must be perceived not only from a technical-operative point of view, as a calculation and application of rules, but as an activity. of human thought present in many more areas of everyday life than normally we believe."

"The High School ""G. da Procida"", located in Salerno, has always addressed his commitment to the training of young people through the planning of innovative educational activities, which ensure both freedom of teaching and research support to update and experimentation. The vision of the Institute is based on the desire to promote the importance of values such as civil coexistence, dialogue between cultures, for the purposes of participation in democratic life within the organization of both school and society. In this perspective, the School, assisted by foreign partners, IES Pedreguer (Spain), Ventspils State Gymnasium (Latvia) e Primary and Secondary Language School 32 “St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgary), through “BEAUTIFUL AS DIFFERENT: different points of view to let cultural diversity emerge as a source of beauty”, it aims at promoting exchanges between schools in different European countries, increasing the synergy of young people compared to the protection of cultural diversity as a world heritage site. Diversity should not be safeguarded in order to preserve the status quo but, on the contrary, it is necessary to protect its innovative character, its essence that is not anchored to the legacy of the past. Preserving this untouchable heritage means to give life to an intercultural dialogue that could deconstruct the dichotomy nature of society now, based on ""us"" and ""them"", on the ""white"" and ""black"", on ""native"" and on the ""Alien"". To do this, it is necessary to transmit to the students the ability to listen and communicate with different people. The project “BEAUTIFUL AS DIFFERENT” aims at promoting the dialogue between 120 students of 3rd and 4th classes (30 per School) of different schools through the production of short films based focused on 4 topics: immigration, linguistic difference, cultural stereotypes and political context. The short films will be shared and debated by 72 students (18 per school) during the mobility exchanges that will take place in Italy, Spain, Latvia and Bulgaria, for a duration of 5 days (+ 2 travel days). The Short-films will be the evident output of the project and they will represent the ‘national’point of view in relation to each topic that will be developed through interviews, surveys and detailed studies. Another output will be represented by a publication that will contain essays for each topic produced by the students that will be divided in 10 international groups, product of their collaboration on ETwinning , after each mobility. Through their cooperation, enriched by their differences but, at the same time, by common aspirations of young teenagers, there will be the products of 16 short documentaries (4 for each partner School and mobility) that will tell the ‘national’ point of view about the abovementioned 4 topics. Each documentary will be elaborated and edited according to the following process:-within one month before the international mobility, through eTwinning and Twinspace, 4 international groups (made of 30 representative students from each Partner School, they will cooperate all together because of producing the documentaries;-projection of these documentaries during the mobility. Debates and confrontations will follow up, based on the didactic methodologies of the cooperative learning, peer tutoring and jigsaw;-within one month after the mobility, 10 international working groups (made of 4 students for each partner school) will collaborate through eTwinning for producing a theme paper focused on the addressed topics. These papers will be part of a general and conclusive publication. The objectives of the project correspond with those provided by the Unesco Agenda 2030 that aims at sustainable development. The aim is the so-called ""sustainable skills"", i.e. cross-cutting skills able to guide the students throughout their path of life (listening skills, effective communication, team working, problem solving, etc.). The project will have an inclusive footprint, allocating 60 opportunities (15 for each school) to students with cultural and economic difficulties both for accessing and participating to it.The project will enhance language skills of the pupils and the production of the short films will be a way to improve artistic , creative and technical skills too.Long-term impacts are hoped , such as: -implementation of new activities aimed at the inclusion;-increase of language skills for at least the 30% of participants;-expansion of local and international schools networks and participations to film festivals to disseminate theproduced short films. The staff of project will disseminate the results through a well-structured dissemination that will happen through web (internet sites and Facebook page), through press, through the European platforms eTwinning and School Education Gateway and thanks to the final event that will involve all the partners."
