<< Objectives >>This project is about inclusive, equitable, quality education (SDG 4, particularly target 4.7) and nurturing an environment of gender justice (SDG 5, particularly target 5.1). We would like to remove barriers to education and boost progress towards the promotion of gender equality in education. To unlock this potential, we need ‘gender-responsive’ education systems and ‘gender-sensitive educators’ for adult education, higher education, and secondary school education.<< Implementation >>This project will pay attention to gender-related issues and how to integrate a gender-responsive learning environment into concrete actions by the standardization process. Checklists for Gender-Responsive Learning Environments and Gender-Sensitive Educators MOOC will be created and implemented in each partner institution so as to establish standardizations of gender equality in the education system by training educators about gender-sensitive teaching methodologies and pedagogy.<< Results >>●Teachers/educators/student-teachers will be trained in gender-responsive and transformative pedagogies to ensure equal participation and learning of girls and boys within a given country context. ●Each partner institution will become a gender-friendly institution by having gender-responsive educators.●Foresee an improvement in building positive attitudes towards EU cultures and values and easing the harmonization process of the European Educational Area in the long term.

Artificial intelligence to improve the employability and empowerment of young Europeans We are five schools: Turkey, Portugal, Crete, France, Romania, two hospitals (Mutualiste Institute Monstsouris in Paris and a Hospital in Ankara) and an university (the University of Law of Descartes in Paris ). The goal of our project is to organize four Hackathons which aim to create and develop an application that will be enriched during each hackathon by a new component that will present the specificities of the trades (according to European countries), interviews (conducted with experts)... Thus, we will create an application revolving around the digital and the employability of young Europeans. Each school represents a profession through each hackathon : 1. Hackathon in France: Discovering the health professions and creating an application using artificial intelligence (with the collaboration with Institut Mutualiste Montsouris in Paris), (We have an hospital institut privé Montsouris in Paris and private center of medical studies) 2. Hackathon in Portugal: digital and entrepreneurship - robotics and business learning in Europe in the digital domain, 3. Hackathon in Crete: supporting of elderly people making their everyday conditions easier using the Industry 4 achivements. it will be about an application that could provide unified available resources for elderly people who are of little or not at all involved in the digital era.The local computing community is active on computing and there are many young people interested in participating in such projects. 4. Hackathon in Romania: discover the profession of curator of heritage and see the role of digital in the future profession of heritage curator because currently some museums are accessible on tablets, other museums authenticate their work. 5. Hackathon in Turkey: Discovering the improvement of health thanks to digital (and robotics with the collaboration of a turkish fondation partner (BUYUK ORTADOGU SAGLIK VE EGITIM VAKFI). So, our project will focus on digital solutions for employment and youth empowerment. Youngth will be challenged to come up with innovative ways in which digital solutions can help young people in their job search and help hiring professionals get closer to young job seekers : to contact them, to motivate them, to propose the right opportunities or the right trainings. OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT - Develop students' sense of mutual aid and solidarity by helping drop-out students, - promote tolerance, respect for others, their sense of autonomy in favor of an inclusive society, - Promote the sense of project management, - Creation of a European network to promote employment; - Share ideas around scientific innovations, future employment and political affairs between young Europeans; - Give teachers the necessary tools to guide their students in the field of employment; - Build links and create a network between the different partners in this project (universities, companies, foundations) and international organizations (EU, UN, WHO, UNESCO ...): - Use e-learning platforms, a Netvibes space, the e-twining space to disseminate the work provided by the students; - Exchanging experiences and knowledge via digital spaces and during different hackathons; - Strengthen the links between the world of education and the world of companies and institutions; - Give the learner total autonomy and help him to become a social actor involved in social and professional life; - Help students to write their Curriculum Vitae, motivation letters, videos presenting themselves - Improve students' knowledge of job offers and the many opportunities in the European Union.

<< Background >>A green mindset among VET sector is the best way to ignite organic change. The EU Strategy for enchanting Green Skills and Competencies (EESC, 2020) calls for initiatives to support teachers and trainers in their professional development on environmental protection and training on green skills and competences. Current VET learners are the next generation of VET policy leaders and decision makers, and instilling a reflective and forward-thinking green mindset in today’s VET learners through metacognition can positively impact the “greening process” of VET sector (EESC, 2020). This in turn will contribute to EU environmental policy.<< Objectives >>MET-VET will support the greening process and wider European environmental and sustainability targets and objectives by developing an innovative set of tools which support environmental awareness through a broader metacognitive knowledge and skill among VET learners, and their educators to support the role of VET centres as hugely influential educators as Europe embarks on a digital and environmental shift. Set within this context, this project will facilitate the adoption of environmental metacognition strategies, improve the environmental metacognitive abilities and positive mindset towards lifelong learning, upskill VET practitioners with knowledge of environmental metacognitive theories to provide support and the skills to train learners to adopt metacognition and raise the profile of environmental metacognitive skills as a core part of VET provision at EU and national level. The project's target groups are: 1) VET learners engaged in digital, distance and online learning 2) VET providers and practitioners<< Implementation >>The MET-VET project will meet the needs of the target groups through the innovative, targeted and cohesive results which will provide VET learners with a set of tools to understand the extent to which their wider VET knowledge and approach aligns with broader environmental issues, the European Green Deal and the environmental and sustainable reflective thinking required to achieve it.The Competence Framework will provide a reference point for all VET stakeholders to be able to integrate environmental thinking into existing VET systems - directly addressing the needs of the VET sectors' stakeholders. The MOOC will inform and train both learners and practitioners to effectively understand environmental reflective thinking from their own individual perspective. The Reflective Digital Story Library will support learners to create their own environmental metacognitive digital story as a means of reflecting on their personal and professional development, related to approaching VET from an environmentally aware perspective. Finally, the toolkit will support VET centres and managers to successfully and smoothly integrate the MET-VET tools and approaches in an unobtrusive and inclusive manner.<< Results >>The project will produce four key project results:1. Metacognition for Environmental Thinking Competence Framework2. “Metacognition for an Environmental Approach to VET” Learner and Facilitator MOOC3. VET Reflective Digital Story Library and Creation Guide4. VET Metacognition Change Management Toolkit
