"<< Objectives >>The project’s main objective is to encourage young people from socially disadvantaged communities to shape their local natural environment and contribute to fight climate change through a collaborative, cross-border effort between Austria and the Netherlands. Young people are sensitized in environmental topics through the conduction of a Green Summer Camp. Trainers and educators working with young people are given the tools to carry out non-formal education programs on environmental pedadogy.<< Implementation >>Firstly, a framework program for the Green Summer Camp and a guideline for experiments and a case study concerning awareness for environmental issues among the target group is created. Secondly, a Green Summer Camp for 10 young people from both partner countries each will be implemented. Thirdly, the results will be summarized in a 40 page-manual for trainers and educators. In a forth step, the manual and its findings will be spread to different communities through train-the-trainer workshops.<< Results >>GECCO contributes to the fight against climate change on different levels. On the one hand, young people with specific needs are sensitized for shaping their own communities in an environmentally-friendly way. On the other hand, trainers and educators have improved opportunities to conduct ""green weeks"" in non-formal education settings themselves. If this pilot project is successful, an expansion of the initiative with further project partners is conceivable and desirable."

<< Objectives >>The project aims to engage youngsters with socially disadvantaged backgrounds to fight against climate change. In a natural environment both their ecological know-how (with 5R) and their personal and social skills that help them integrate into society (with experiential education) will be improved. Additionally they will learn about cultural differences and tolerance through experiencing a transnational environment and be encouraged to apply ecological behaviour in their everyday lives.<< Implementation >>Besides PM & Dissemination, 5R4Future aims to implement the following activities: by developing purposeful modules for the 5R Camp, drafting a baseline for attitude observations and conducting preparatory workshops for trainers, the foundation for a 5R Camp for 12 adolescents is set. A 10-day camp for socially disadvantaged youth focusing on environmental issues will be the centre part. 5R4Future will be concluded through a ReUnion weekend and a Multiplication Day.<< Results >>We assume that the project will encourage socially disadvantaged young people from Austria and Hungary to become more involved with the topics of environmental protection, waste separation and climate change through close encounters with nature during the 5R Camp. At the same time trainers and youth workers are encouraged to adopt the 5R methodology and use EE methods in order to strengthen marginalised young people and promote their inclusion into society.

<< Objectives >>We would like to prepare and discuss the Austrian model of (pragmatic) professional competence assessment and development of migrants for the needs of regional SMEs in a multimedia format. In autumn 2023, a 1-month, compact storytelling format will be played out via EPALE to reflect modern competence developments with interested EU adult educators and education policymakers in a community of practice.<< Implementation >>We will conduct an intercultural, interactive, 1-month edu-happening on EPALE in the fall of 2023, presenting the innovative ÖJAB competence model for refugees in multimedia form. This model will be embedded in a broader competence discourse and discursively classified by the emerging community of practice of participating adult educators. With luck, this event will generate a diverse, broad discussion, also in the social networks.<< Results >>1. A free online event in an Erasmus+ space on EPALE, through which as many people as possible from the adult education sector can participate in a modern learning concept.2. A network of relevant stakeholders from the sector who lead modern competence debates and help to transfer them pragmatically into practice.3. An educational policy competence that transfers the practice of the 20th century into the 21st century in order to solve current problems.

<< Objectives >>ECOTRAIN aims to create high-quality learning content and to pilot a continuing education programme for VET trainers in eco-friendly practices in technical professions. The expected outcome will be VET trainers who are well-equipped with know-how in green skills and competences and pass them on to the next generation of young learners in technical VET centres. Hence, awareness for environmental issues and eco-friendly behaviour at the workplace will be multiplied in technical professions.<< Implementation >>Firstly, two best practice workshops will be carried out per partner country to survey which green practices and skills are already at hand in the VET centres. Based on these gatherings and adjusted to the VET centres' core competences, three learning modules for a continuing education programme for teachers, trainers and educators will be developed. They will be tested in two piloting workshops per country. Results will be compared and further distributed in an International Final Conference.<< Results >>•2 best practice workshops carried out per partner country•3 learning modules about eco-friendly methods and practices in technical professions developed; the modules simultaneously lay the foundation for a future project of larger scope (e.g. continuing online education via MOOC)•At least 60 VET trainers participated in the piloting programme (20 per country)•1 International Final Conference to generate further exchange of experiences between teachers, trainers and educators
