Since the importance of such big-scale matters can only be effectively comprehended by activity-level, this project was chosen as a means for reaching this goal. We applied for this project so that we can all live in a world that is greener and more habitable. With this project, we would like to increase recognition and awareness of these global-scale problems.<< Objectives >>The aim of this project is increasing the applicability of biological sciences to daily life; developing environmental awareness; introduction to sustainable and eco-friendly products and increasing their usage in daily life; learning about terms like: bio-compatible and bio-degredable; understanding the importance of renewable energy; learning the importance of using eco-friendly products through conscious consumption.<< Implementation >>- Manufactoring process of bioplastic from microorganisms- Biofuel production from waste (compost)- Microplastic degradation from soil- Explaining the potential of microalgae to be used as food- Discussion meetings in nature- Ecological thinking exercises- Argumentation studies that will combine science and philosophy with environmental awareness<< Results >>By the end of this project, we would like the participants to embrace more eco-friendly habits through critical and philosophical thinking; bring new perspectives to engage in environmental problems; build creative ways of green behaviors towards a sustainable future by making sense of the intellectual dimensions of human being’s relationship with nature; determining ethical and moral responsibilities for the climate crisis.

For this it’s important that youth workers that are working with young people would be aware of the causes, opportunities and consequences of (i)migration and could support both – young emigrants and immigrants by creating opportunities, fighting discrimination and providing support these young people need. Youth unemployment forces young people to move out of their country, and in new country they often face social exclusion and discrimination as immigrants. They lack support in their country of origin from youth workers (who could advise them on different opportunities about mobility) and they lack support in their country of destination where youth organizations should be able to include them. We focus on 2 main issues – the immigration related issues in connection to refugee crisis and discrimination towards immigrants and second – emigration of young people in connection to youth unemployment. This is situation of emigration countries, but also attention should be drawn to immigration countries and inclusion of immigrants (especially refugees). Indonesia is one of the biggest countries of the world and the immigration is very big problem. Nearly 30,000 Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants have made it to shore in Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia in last year. Working with migrants is new for organizations in Indonesia. Europe is facing migration for a long period and have mechanisms for support. In Indonesia the situation is very difficult. Even the UN high commissioners for refugees and human rights, the UN chief's special representative for international migration and development, and the head of the International Organization for Migration issued a joint plea. ""We strongly urge the leaders of Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand to protect migrants and refugees stranded on vessels in the Bay of Bengal and the Andaman Sea, to facilitate safe disembarkation, and to give priority to saving lives, protecting rights, and respecting human dignity,"" On other site the Indonesia is a country with big number of people that are immigrating to other countries. Poverty in nations like Indonesia drives people to seek work in Malaysia, while unscrupulous agencies exacerbate the problem by exploiting the desperation of the poor with unrealistic assurances of good-paying jobs. With this project we will develop the capacities of youth workers of Indonesian organizations. We will create intellectual outputs and we will train youth workers so they are able to continue their mission in training other organization and developing the work with migrants. This work must be with a double focus. There are different triggers and causes, push and pull factors for migration which affects everyday life on incoming and outgoing immigrants which is important to be realized and dialed with."
