"The aim of the project ""What's your c@de?"" is to motivate students for a long-life learning and to prevent early school dropouts by using a variety of ICT tools and coding activities. Students come from different socio-economic backgrounds and several issues. Participating countries bring into the project their different cultures from north to south of Europe, and this increases the chances to be enriched by each other diversity. We believe that students learn more by doing. We believe that students will develop a critical thinking and how to solve problems when they are asked to take part to innovative activities. Students should have fun in learning new topics, and this will motivate them for lessons and learning. We want to use new approaches in order to raise the students' interest and motivation to be involved into the future society with a promotional attitude. The project will foster young people's social skills in the students' own life at home, school and general in society. The project will also work with the teachers' motivation and their knowledge for a better education. Our lessons will be introduced and developed in the school curriculum. We will work with values, social skills, self-confidence and technology. Initially, we will work to tear down mental barriers such as stereotypes and prejudices to induce our students to integrate. Parallel with technology during the project we will focusing on soft skills as well as developing competence and abilities for the future. We will work in order to:-improve skills in the use of new technologies-motivate students to look for and study different sources of knowledge- increase mathematical and linguistic competences and add knowledge in other subjects.- practice and improve foreign languages-be aware of their own strengths and weaknesses as challenge to improve and be part of the society.Participating countries; Sweden, Poland, Latvia, Italy, Greece. We have a large geographical and cultural spread. The project will involve most of the pupils and teachers from partner schools. The schools are municipal and have a large student variation both within the schools and among the countries. Pupils participating in the project are 8-15. Pupils in the mobilities will be 12-15. Among the students selected for our activities and actions, we will dedicate a special care to the disadvantaged ones, in order to offer them a consistent opportunity to grow and improve. There will be monthly activities carried out in the schools. 5 group meetings (students & staff) in each country/5 days and 3 team meetings (staff)/3 days. Coding is becoming increasingly a key competence, we want to introduce coding in our learning/teaching process. Coding and robotics will be developed into most of our activities. Activities will be published schools website, project website, Etwinning platforms, twinspace for constant dissemination. We will have an e-book as one of the final output, local Erasmus Day events and articles on local magazines. It is very important to offer the students a wide selection of subjects and topics, therefore it becomes a fascinating challenge for the teacher to link their own teaching to the students' experiences and to attract the students to be an active protagonist of the teaching process. Both the teacher competence and didactic skills are important. We will support the students’ efforts to show that we believe in them, so-called pygmalion effect, and thus increase their motivation. We will encourage all actions dealing with a better self esteem and resilience. Methods will vary widely in order to have as wide impact as possible. Individual/group exercises, experimental, e-learning/tutoring, informal and integrated teaching, peer learning etc. We plan to develop robotics at schools and extend our activities in robotics and coding. By using interactive displays and hands-on activities, students will be able to take responsibility for their own learning, improving their know-how. Critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving skills will be highly improved and will be implemented when dealing with different groups and cultures. We will make initial, intermediate and final questionnaires. We will also have evaluations after each group/team meeting. Digital educational/teaching material will be produced, evaluated and uploaded regularly.Potential longer term benefits.Success will be stated if we get students:- who are study-motivated- prepared for future studies and working life- measurable difference in self-confidence- are open-minded for Europe and know more about different cultures, appreciating diversity- students get better communicative performances and skills and thus dare to express themselves more.Success will also be stated if:- teachers' professional levels in the digital and communicative areas increase, by giving opportunities for strategies and innovative methodologies.- better teaching = better learning = better results"

The purpose of our project “High5” is to motivate students for a lifelong learning and thus tackling early school leaving and disadvantages. We will work with environment and climate goals and promote a comprehensive approach to language teaching and learning. We will do this by systematically using CL learning and various ICT-tools combined with crafts. We prevent exclusion through CL, which is based on cooperation. CL-learning make it easier for students with disadvantages. The choice of topic rests on the students' interest in sustainability issues. Participating countries have different experience of working with CL structure. Finland has good results in PISA surveys and uses CT in its daily teaching. Finland will be responsible for assisting other participants. Sweden has a teacher who is also an environmental and health protection inspector who will be extra help with environmental / climate & health goals. We have done a planning that is nearly followed by monthly activities. In addition, our mobilities, which all have links to the environment and health.Participating countries in the project are Sweden, Italy, Spain and Finland. The age of the students is 11-16 years. We have geographical distribution, cultural differences and social differences both within our own school and partly among participating schools. This gives us good conditions for exchange. We will use many different ICT tools as an effect of gifts, but as crafts of a more traditional nature. All participants are public bodies. In mobility, each country will send 10 students and 2 staff, ie venue country will welcome at least 36 people. In total there will be 144 mobilities. The schools will participate in activities related to the project, such as Erasmus Day. The project will be disseminated through parents, several different social media, local actors such as newspapers, authorities among others. We expect that we will get school-motivated students who become eager and socially secure and thus want to continue their studies. Students will feel involved in the EU and the societies in our different countries. They will see that we have more things common, than differences. Students will feel safe using another language in addition to their mother tongue, familiar with several ICT tools and gained a broader view of sustainability.

"Erasmus+ project ""Open Up for a changing Europe. Fostering young peoples´social and cultural competences under the influence of new and unfamiliar experiences in their life at school and in wider community"" based upon the conclusion that students in our school systems are affected by several influences that are forming their lives but cannot be controlled by them. the context makes it important that young people are to be supported to find and recognize their position in school, family and community. The projects aim was to help young people of the age between 13 and 16 years to become aware of their stronger and weaker individual sides better and to be more confirmed in their roles within their social groups.A better self consciousness should help to deal better with diversities to be found directly in comparison with other young people from different places, countries and backgrounds.Shortly: our students should be experiencing inclusive education and life by meeting others. Those came from two namely inclusive working secondary-schools from Katovice, Poland and Karlshamn, Sweden. Then a secondary school from Banov, Czech Republic. Further,as leading organization, a special needs school for the visual impaired from Duisburg, Germany.Their experience concerning international project work like Erasmus was quite different. The main activities were referring to three priorities:a) Working at all schools on the same topics as: individuality, self confidence, role in family, peer group, class, neighbourhood and local community. Further on ethnical backgrounds, migration and special needs. In short terms: Who am I? Who are you? How do we suit each other?b) Project work during three one-week-meetings at every school by the whole group. Working on different subjects chosen by the hosting school as being typical for their work. The subjects were out of the catalogue of history, natural science, technics, sports and local culture. All mainly suitable for working together as a group of young people from different background. To prepare end evaluate project work there have been five team meetings of teachers.c) Exchange of experience and results by use of digital media. Increasing competences of students and teachers being part of that work.Working results have been published within schools by exhibitions and events for parents and school community. Students were mostly using social digital media, teachers were meant to use the eTwinning portal. But most of all the homepages of the schools were used to publish progress and results of our Erasmus work. The intended results of changing attitudes and standings of our students towards themselves and others were evaluated digitally by questionairesasking before-after questions. There has been lot of individual talking and group discussions as well.Any sustainability might show not until later. Dissemination won´t leave the circle of immediate school community and some professional interested people. One of the superordinate outcomes has to be seen in the increasing competences in the use of foreign language iwith teachers and students.Furthermore especially teachers´ grown competences in networking.Positive experiences made students and teachers want to continue with international EU project work in the future."

The project “INNOVATIVE RECYCLING” aims to raise pupils' awareness of climate and environmental issues. It will also provide increased knowledge about how each person can make a difference, which in turn will give the pupils greater faith in their future. We do this with the help of knowledge about how we innovatively use the earth's existing materials to create new products. Entrepreneurial skills such as taking initiative, responsibility and bring your ideas into action will increase through this and in our work on providing other people with our ideas. We also develop our curiosity, self-reliance, creativity, and ability to work in groups. The pupils come from four different countries geographically spread in Europe. Through this work together, we will also develop our social skills and become more familiar with European values. We will realise that it doesn't matter what country you live in when it comes to climate work. We can all make a difference.Participating countries are Romania, Portugal, Germany, and Sweden. Geographically spread throughout Europe with pupils in the ages of 6-15. Some of the pupils in rural areas in isolated parts and some in towns with wider cultural offerings. No matter where we live we all have to change our way of spending resources on the earth. Creating innovative recycling by crafting will not only help the earth to become a better place but will also help pupils to focus better and thus be able to more easily reach the goals of the school´s curriculum. We will learn about environmental and climate goals and issues during social science and study visits. We will also get knowledge about the countries' cultural heritage through crafts and by that experience a natural affinity with our partner countries. The pupils will work in workshops with various crafts and use their practical skills to design and create products out of waste materials. We will also share our knowledge and keep in contact with partners through e.g. eTwinning and social media which will make us develop our social skills. The work will be useful for other people through the app, Innovative Recycling, that we will create. The purpose of the app is to work as a bank of ideas about what to do with your old and worn materials. The long-termed benefit will be pupils, with entrepreneurial and social skills with deeper knowledge about climate changes and other countries' cultural heritage, well prepared for their future life.
