Currently, 81 percent of energy needs are met by fossil resources. The damage of such intensely used fossil fuels to the environment is very high. Today, the most important environmental problem in the world is global warming caused by the increase in the rate of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the greenhouse effect. Solar energy, which is a more stable, sustainable and environmentally friendly energy source, is extremely important in terms of reducing environmental damage. Solar energy is a clean resource and is the most effective tool to combat climate change caused by global warming.Solar panels can be damaged over time, due to weather conditions, temperature changes, pollutants and UV rays. Solar panels need periodic maintenance to maintain cell performance levels and reduce economic losses. The aim of our project is to develop innovative approaches in the training of personnel who will work in the maintenance and repair of solar energy systems. The workforce to be trained in this way will contribute to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change. Because solar energy systems are the most suitable energy generation method to protect the environment and combat climate change. Innovative methods in the use and maintenance of solar energy systems will also contribute to making these systems attractive.<< Objectives >>Periodic maintenance of solar panel maintenance should not be neglected in order to maintain maximum efficiency in photovoltaic panels and avoid major financial damages caused by neglect and environmental conditions. Solar energy investments are long-term investments that generate income for investors for a minimum of 25 years. In this long process, maintenance and repair services not only prevent material losses that may occur in investments, but also provide more production returns than expected, make investments more feasible and shorten returns. The aim of our project is to develop an innovative maintenance and repair curricula for the departments related to solar energy in vocational and technical education schools in order to better predict and prevent malfunctions in solar energy systems. In the training and application approach planned to be developed in our project, information communication technologies and artificial intelligence technology will be used in order to develop predictive methods for the maintenance and repair of solar panels. The educational tools prepared will be developed to be used in the relevant departments of vocational high schools. Trainings will be organized for maintenance, repair and planning processes at the secondary education level of vocational and technical education.<< Implementation >>The main goal of our project is to develop a vocational training approach that can implement early warning systems in the maintenance and repair of solar energy systems, using innovation and technology, within the framework of the understanding of combating climate change. The outputs we aim to achieve are, firstly, to prepare an academic article that reveals the necessity and importance of this approach (O1), then to develop a software that can predict the malfunctions that may occur in solar energy systems (O2), and finally to integrate this software into relevant vocational training programs. to prepare curriculum and training contents. In order to achieve these outputs, 4 different LTT organizations will be organized and trainings on software development will be organized within the scope of our project. In addition, at the 5 TPM meetings to be held, both the monitoring and evaluation of the project will be carried out, and the processes related to the preparation of the academic article and the development of the training curriculum will be followed. Teams to be formed for the preparation of academic articles and training curricula will come together mainly through online meetings and share information and documents. In addition, 5 different multiplier events are organized within the scope of the project, and it is aimed to share the project goals and activities with the relevant stakeholders and the public. In this way, we aim to increase the multiplier effect of the project and to reach the targets more easily.<< Results >>The outputs and results of our project can be summarized as follows:- Raising public awareness on the importance of combating climate change- To convey the importance of solar energy systems in terms of combating climate change to the public- Ensuring that students studying in the fields of solar energy maintenance and repair in vocational high schools receive a more qualified education- The students who receive education in these fields in vocational high schools become able to meet the demands of the market- Tracking solar energy systems and performing maintenance and repairs without malfunction, thanks to the software to be developed- LTT activity is carried out with the participation of project partners during the software development phase- Inclusion of software that enables preventive maintenance in the vocational education curriculum- Defining preventive maintenance and repair services and including them in the curriculum- LTT activity with the participation of project partners for curriculum and module development- Testing the curriculum and modules to be developed in Susurluk MTAL with a pilot application- Preparing reports by conducting research on the widespread use of solar energy- Increasing the quality of vocational education in the field of solar energy systems- Developing synergy, ties and cooperation between different fields of vocational education- Contributing to the use of information-communication technologies in a more strategic and integrated manner- Contributing to the development of foreign language skills- Increased familiarity with European values and culture, such as cultural diversity and tolerance
