The partnership was characterised by a flexible and efficient work system with partners. The project proposal had been based on permanent analysis, existing knowledge, know- how and practice. The target group consisted of elderly people who were in need of a wider range of educational activities. It had been essential to create training materials for educators in the areas of leisure, interests, health, well-being, volunteerism, emotional intelligence, cultural activity, and communication. The project allowed to mitigate a number of barriers making their comeback to learning difficult. The main objective of the project was to improve learning opportunities for older people in partner countries: Poland, Italy, Great Britain, Turkey and Portugal. The experience and nature of the partnership involving five organisations enabled the accomplishment of the above objectives of the project. The project was realistic and provided solutions to the problems relevant to the participating organizations and the target group.
