For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:CIVIL COOPERATIVE ENTERPRISE AMARANTHUS, Nocetum Società Cooperativa SocialeCIVIL COOPERATIVE ENTERPRISE AMARANTHUS,Nocetum Società Cooperativa SocialeFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-2-IT02-KA210-ADU-000051413Funder Contribution: 60,000 EUR<< Objectives >>We aim to: 1) provide access to a theoretical-practical course of environmental education for people with fewer opportunities, focusing on social beekeeping; 2) build a model of “Community Apiary”, also to prompt social and work inclusion; 3) set a transnational environmental biomonitoring network; 4) promote awareness raising about the importance of bees safeguarding and biodiversity to counteract climate change at local and transnational levels; 5) acquire skills in EU project management.<< Implementation >>The project includes: 1) a cycle of meetings in the field environmental education and beekeeping; 2) a training course in an apiary; 3) an environmental bio-monitoring activity through the analysis of bees and their products (data collection and sharing); 4) two transnational exchange visits, awareness raising events and dissemination of results on social networks and on EPALE platform; 5) project management and monitoring activities.<< Results >>Main expected results are: 1) theoretical and practical education of 30 disadvantaged people in the field of environmental education and beekeeping; 2) mutual staff learning; 3) production of a booklet in 5 languages; 4) implementation of 2 Community Apiary; 5) collection and sharing of environmental bio-monitoring data with local and transnational beekeepers; 6) awareness raising of 1000 people on environmental issues through 2 dissemination events and through social network.

The project is aimed at developing permanent synergies of the youth sector with the area of research and analysis as well as system solutions supporting the participation of young people. The aim is also to popularize the organizational and planning role of youth. The goal is to solve the problem of the weak representation of young people with fewer opportunities in active participation.<< Implementation >>The project will incubate new youth entities through systemic support and the personal development of young participants. Youth, supported by experts, will prepare development strategies for their regions, and within the framework of networking, for the Europe. People working with young people, through the educational cycle, will be able to create new support units on the basis of developed good practices. Young people with fewer opportunities will receive special support to ensure a real impact<< Results >>The main result will be new think tanks, managed and created by young people. Their goal will be to develop long-term strategies and support youth participation at regional and international levels. The results will be multiplied through educational tools: a good practice toolkit, an online course and study visits. The supporting measure will be the development of innovative solutions for the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities and their dissemination.

To improve the capacity of youth trainers in art and culture to promote social inclusion and diversity and to prevent racism and intolerance among youth by using as a tool an art-training module based on marionette techniques.2. To raise environmental consciousness by integrating sustainable practices in the implementation of the project.<< Implementation >>1. A staff training activity for the development of a kinetic methodology and marionette techniques based on this methodology in order to promote social awareness, tolerance and non-discrimination among youth.2. A blended training activity in which youth trainers in art and culture will participate and will be trained through a kinetic and marionette technique methodology.3. Enhancement of the ability of youth trainers in art and culture to prevent racism and intolerance among youth.2. A digital handbook which presents a creative training method including a kinetic and marionette technique methodology to help youth to conceptualise values such as tolerance, mutual understanding, non-discrimination and respect for inclusion and diversity.3. A case study based on this art-based training method.
