    Education in 2030 will undergo huge changes with generation Z in the classroom. The “real digital natives” will influence economic structures as well as the educational system due to their modified skills, attitudes and behavior. Educators at tertiary level have to be prepared for the requirements and needs of this generation. The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) estimates that in future 83% of the course content will be individualized, with only 17% being standardized. Moreover, the role of educators at the tertiary level will be split between guiding and mentoring processes (73%), knowledge delivery (19%) and validation of student’s work (8%) (online: WISE summit). This means a decisive change in the role of future educators and institutions in Europe are not all at the same educational level. The objective of the EU funded project within the Erasmus+/Strategic Partnerships “Future-proof your classroom – teaching skills 2030” is to deliver an innovative educational Blended-Learning course, (TEACHING 2030) including a web based training in an appealing cBook format for teachers, trainers and educators that can be accessed without limitations and is free of charge. The on-line (cBook) and on-site (iLabs) trainings equip educators with the decisive competencies and skills for successful teaching in future. The course comprises eight modules covering topics like the future professional role of educators, producing technological tools for tuition (videos, podcasts, online presentations...), designing holistic learning experiences; combining technology and emotion in class, framing the course contents by using on-line and on-site education and using Social media, including netiquette, for tuition. The project meets the needs of educators, aged around 40, who are still described as “digital immigrants” in contrast to students belonging to generation Z who are skilled in the use of technology. As a consequence professors, tutors, trainers and lecturers have to be equipped with the competencies and skills in order not to follow but to lead this new generation. The work will be carried out by a consortium of nine institutions, each of them having certain tasks within the project management and the course development. The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland in Austria is the applicant organization, working together with the The Eszterházy Károly University in Eger, the University of Maribor, the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, the St. Kliment Ohridski University in Bitola, the University of Perugia, the University of Valencia and the University of Aveiro. Create mediadesign, situated in Vienna, is in charge of the technical implementation. Each partner has outstanding experience in international project management as well as educational technology. The methodology of the project follows five decisive phases, the designing and structuring of the course is followed by the first version; after a cultural adjustment the final version is produced; the testing and evaluation then makes the course perfect. Feedback and production phases are closely linked together for the best outcome. In contrast to many initiatives and courses that only present a collection of electronic materials or tutorials, the final result of the course TEACHING 2030 follows the entire concept of storytelling. The contents of the modules will be arranged within a dramaturgic setting. Each module is structured like an arc of suspense, which means that during the entire module a story of teaching experiences in future is told. Each partner has to write the storyboards for the exercises of the respective module arranging these exercises in a kind of stage play. The project members figure as stage directors involving the audience - the future “learner” - in the “play”. Longer term benefits will emerge on different levels. Personally, learning within the stay-play approach is fun. Thus educators are motivated to be engaged in technological issues of teaching and to reduce anxiety when it comes to electronic teaching formats. At institutional level, the course can be implemented within teacher trainings, accrediting ECTS points. The more individualized use at universities can be enhanced by the possibility that certain e-exercises or modules can be extracted and integrated in LMS platforms at universities via Open Access. Moreover, the on-site training can be enriched by additional exercises and tools according to the specific needs of the educators at the respective university. At European level, the flexible use of the course is a great advantage for its sustainability. The cBook part can be used as a MOOC across Europe without geographical limitations or limitations in access.

    "The aim of the project is development of strategic partnership among universities and creation of barrier-free environment for mobilities of students and teachers. The output will be preparation of complex materials for accreditation and implementation of a new course ""Methodology of Interpretation of European Cultural Heritage through Attractions in Tourism"" at all universities. The need of such a project is based of the survey, which showed a lack of compatible courses in the field of tourism for exchange students, and the need to improve interpretation of European cultural heritage. The content of the course will also reflect the mission of the European Commission concerning Europe as a cultural destination and 2011 EU Modernisation Agenda's priorities, particularly in respect of links to internationalisation, innovation and modernization of education and needs of labour market. The project will be implemented in partnership of 6 universities representing different European regions, capital and regional cities, and countries with diverse cultural heritage and its potential. (VSE Praha, CZ: architecture, monuments; University of Economics Bratislava, SK: local traditions and customs; Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Iasi, RO: religious and ethnography attractions; University of Applied Sciences-Fachhochschule Burgenland, A: attractions connected with music; Universidad Europea, Madrid, ESP: fine art; Fachhochschule des Mittelstands, Schwerin, GE: gastronomy). Such partnership is an opportunity for complex elaboration of the topic ""Interpretation of European Cultural Heritage"" and may motivate students for international mobility to universities which might be otherwise out of their interest. The Guidelines for the industry will enhance the opportunity for heritage managers to improve attractivity of cultural heritage. The project has a detailed action plan which will be regularly monitored and evaluated according to quantitative as well as qualitative indicators. The main activities of the project are: - Compillation of materials for syllabus, textbook and their didactic elaboration, examples of good practice, case studies, cooperation with the industry, analysis and definition of needs of the segments of visitors and setting the appropriate methods for interpretation of cultural heritage. - Transnational project meetings for networking, coordination of project implementation and evaluation. - Short term joint staff training events for detailed familiarization with elaborated subtopics and case studies by all partners. - Dissemination activities: organization of lntermational Conference, web pages, articles, papers, lectures at conferences outside the project, etc. - Project management: communication with partners, monitoring, budget monitoring, evaluation. The planned project outcomes are: Syllabus of a new course, with all necessary prerequisites for accreditation (detailed content of the course, time allocation of lectures, methodology, time requirements on students, assessment of students, planned integration into the study programme, operational organization of the course). Textbook of the length aprox. 400 pages (a survey of cultural heritage of Europe, detailed characteristics of subtopic investigated by individual partners, methodology of interpretation of the cultural heritage through attractions in tourism, examples of good practice and a case study for each subtopic). Guidelines designed for experts in the industry (informing about main methods of interpretation of individual parts of cultural heritage through attractions in tourism). Results of this project will bring benefit to students and teachers of the participating universities and to experts in the industry. In long-run the outputs of the project will indirectly bring benefit to teachers and students of other schools and to all visitors of cultural attractions in Europe. Preparation of the new course by an international team will have the advantage, that various approaches based on intercultural aspects as well as experience from different cultural backgrounds will be incorporated in the study materials. This will be a unique experience for all beneficiaries. The project outpus will be published in full (in English) on open webpages all partner universities and will be freely accessible. They will be technically user-friendly. The use of the material will be free of charge, will not be limited nor conditioned at all. Long-term utilization of project outputs is expected. The new educational course prepared within this project will become an integral part of study programmes taught in English at all universities involved. This means it will be available for all students including foreign students participating in student mobility. Most study and didactic materials prepared within the project will have unlimited, sustainable time utility and will be used also in ensuing years after the end of the project."

    According to the European Agenda 2020 only one third of the students between 25 and 31years graduate at European universities while in the USA 40% and in Japan even 50% of the students succeed. The lower rate in Europe is caused not only by difficult admission exams or missing access to universities but by failure in completing the studies. For many students writing a Bachelor or Master thesis turns out to be a major hurdle. This is caused by many reasons as students have to cope with certain requirements during their studies (part time studies, studies aboroad) which demand a more flexible and independent way of studies.The objective of the two years’ EU funded project within the Erasmus+/Strategic Partnerships was to develop an online course for Business Studies which provides all necessary skills and tools for writing a final thesis to overcome these obstacles. The approach was a practical one, following the College Writing Programs in the US where Academic Writing is seen more as a practical ability than a supernatural gift. The online course with open access will enable mainly regular part time and incoming students to write an academic paper or thesis by providing all necessary tools and skills in a flexible way.To reach this objective the online course includes 6 modules for students and 1 module for teachers in the field of Academic Writing and tutors of students’ work. The 6 modules cover topics like key items of scientific work/use of scientific language, the composition of a paper/quotation rules, ICT-based administration of literature, research methods for Business Studies, the publishing procedure within the scientific community and the proper management of work/motivation/time management. Module 7 is dedicated to teachers and tutors to improve their communication skills by giving feedback in a motivating way and to be advisory without making any harsh judgments. Every module will be composed of text including exercises and videos with teachers who give explanatory advices. The online course was developed in German and English by the UAS Burgenland and translated into the five CEE languages Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Slovenian and Croatian by the partner organisations. The translation work was accompanied by cultural adaptions concerning each country. The work was carried out by a consortium of 8 institutions, each of them having certain tasks within the project management and the delivering of the course. The University of Applied Sciences Burgenland in Austria was the applicant organisation, working together with the UJOP of the Charles University Prague (Institute for Languages and Preparatory Studies), Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica, Esterházy Károly College in Eger, University of Maribor and the College of Business and Management in Zapresic. An English translation is also provided. The technical support and the e-learning platform was delivered by the WWEDU (worldwide education), a company located in Wels which is a provider of online MBA studies together with the AIM (Austrian Institute of Management), a subsidiary of the UAS Burgenland. Three modules in German were brought in by the ASAS Company.The results and impact of the project/course enables mainly three groups of students to complete their studies to transfer knowledge from science to economy which otherwise would get lost: part-time Master students who need a flexible time management and a brush up of their Academic Writing after having left the University for a longer period of time; incoming students or students who intend to study abroad for one semester to support them by an online course in their native language when writing their final thesis and students who need additional support during their studies, e. g. when entering the studies without a regular school leaving exam on level A. Furthermore the project establishes a network of experts on the topic of Academic Writing which is essential to enhance the ability for scientific work and to raise the awareness for intellectual property in the internet.The long term benefits will emerge on different levels. Firstly, the number of students who complete their studies, will increase as stated in the objectives of the project; as well as the number of exchange students. Due to this fact, the project contributes to the increase of the mobility rates within the EU. Secondly, students and teachers get acquainted with the didactics of e-learning which is not that widespread as assumed. Influenced by the MOOCs (massive open online courses) the development in Austria and the CEE countries is yet in its beginning. Thirdly, teachers and students will acquire new forms of learning and didactics on to their way to more individual studies. The Academic Writing course will be enlarged after the end of the project to give the students the chance to compose their own one course out of the modules and languages. The course should be accredited at the institutions using it.

    "The project ""CZECH ONLINE - Czech as a Foreign Language for Specific Purposes"" originated at the Masaryk University in Brno in the Czech Republic and builds on the successful project from 2013-2015 called CZKey - Online Platform for Learning Medical Czech. Project was funded under LLP Leonardo da Vinci / Transfer of Innovations programme and was awarded the European Language Award Label 2017 and the ""Seal of Quality 2013"" award for project implementation. The main project outputs are available at www.mluvtecesky.net.The project initiators are trying to build on the previous project, which was focused only on medical Czech. The Medical Czech module will be fundamentally innovated and two more specific modules Czech for Lawyers and Czech for Economists and Traders will be added to the project's essential outputs. Furthermore, the Language Tandem module, which is an innovative element in language teaching, will be newly created. The project will be useful in teaching non-native speakers of the Czech language. The language portal will be available in Czech, English, Polish and German.Universities and organisations from the Czech Republic, Poland and Austria are involved in the project. In the field of tertiary education, it is the Language Centre of Masaryk University, which is the main coordinator of the project, partner universities are Silesian University in Katowice from Poland and Fachhochschule Burgenland from Eisenstadt in Austria. CASAJC (Czech and Slovak Association of Language Centres) and Formata also participate in the project. In particular, CASAJC through its network of language centres in the Czech Republic and Slovakia will provide dissemination of information about the project and its key outputs. Formata, a graphic studio, programs the web portal and guarantees its timeliness and modern conception corresponding to the latest trends in world web design.The aim of the project is to make available to students interested in studying Czech, especially in the areas of medical, social and nursing services, legal services, and in the economic and commercial areas, free online learning material without the need of any additional funds. In this way, a student interested in Czech can acquire knowledge with which he / she will be able to successfully pass the entrance examination for a university in Czech and thus obtain formal education free of charge. The main fundamental outputs of the project are the creation of modules of medical Czech, Czech for lawyers and business and economic Czech. The portal, whose study will also be possible from mobile phones, aims also to reach out to those outside formal education and thus help them to integrate into society. It can also be used for teaching Czech to primary school students and high school students who come from non-Czech families. It is also applicable to professionals in their respective fields who seek recognition in their fields.An integral part of the project are also multiplication activities planned so that the main multipliers and the target group are regularly informed about the progress of the production of essential outputs, the possibility of networking and communication with experts. The portal will be available indefinitely, its activation on the Internet is not restricted, either for individuals or language teachers. With regard to long-term sustainability, the essential outputs are planned in a timely manner, not linked to specific dates or events."

    The main objectives of the project are the development of strategic partnership among universities, support of internationalization of the educational process, and the teacher´s mobility. The other goal is to support innovation and modernization of the educational process. Finally, it is an effort to contribute to the sustainable development of society, particularly in the field of nature protection threatened by the fast development of tourism. The project will also support inclusion since it will bring guidelines on how to prepare and implement barrier-free nature heritage interpretation. The project outputs will be a new complex modern didactic material in a digital form:E-book: an overview of theories in the interpretation of nature heritage, examples of good practice, case studies.Guidelines: designed and adjusted to professionals from the industry, they will spread awareness of the topic in the industry, support further live-long professional education, transfer foreign experience to experts.Video + Digital presentations: examples of nature heritage interpretation. Podcasts: timeless ideas from interesting personalities from the topic The need of such a project is based on the survey, which showed a gap in university syllabi and study materials. Despite the growing interest of visitors in nature, the professional literature doesn´t cover this topic, there is no comprehensive modern methodology of nature heritage interpretation, nor interpretation planning. The content of the project also reflects the mission and the new political framework for tourism in Europe. The European Travel Commission aims to develop new ways how to attract visitors to European nature heritage. The upgrade of nature heritage interpretation will increase awareness of nature heritage values, initiate responsible behaviour of visitors and nature heritage protection. The project will be implemented in partnership of 8 universities representing different European regions, capital and regional cities, and countries with diverse nature heritage and its potential.The distribution of tasks is well balanced among all partner universities. Each university will deal with its subtopic as follows:VSE Praha, Czech Republic: small-scale protected areas, interpretation through nature heritage trails, treetop walkways;Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, Romania: UNESCO locations, nature watching;University of Applied Sciences-Fachhochschule Burgenland, Austria: large-scale protected areas, interpretation centers in national parks;Universidad Europea, Spain: caves, interpretation in extreme nature areas, guiding; Fachhochschule des Mittelstands, Germany: cultural landscape, palace gardens, ZOOs and botanic gardens, gamification;Cork Institute of Technology, Ireland: geoparks, coastal landscape, inanimate nature, modern interpretation media; Universidade do Porto, Portugal: agricultural landscape, vineyards, wine routes, interpretation through experience; Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania: hydrology, balneological nature resources, printed materials for interpretation.The project has a detailed action plan. The main activities of the project are:Compilations of materials and their didactic elaboration, collection of examples of good practice, elaboration of case studies, cooperation with the industry. Transnational project meetings for coordination of project implementation and evaluation, and as a platform for networking, for sharing the experience, and support of the development of internationalization in university activities. Short-term joint staff training events with training activities supporting the development and improvement of pedagogical skills, especially in the use of new digital materials and tools and their implementation in the teaching process. Dissemination activities: organization of an international conference, web pages, articles, papers, lectures at conferences outside the project, etc.Project management: communication with partners, monitoring, budget monitoring, evaluation. The created materials will help to build awareness of the importance of quality nature heritage interpretation and its significant role in the protection of nature values. The main group benefiting from the project results are students and teachers of 8 partner universities. They will benefit particularly in the field of the educational process - its innovation, internationalization, and digitalization.The outcomes of the project will be available also to other schools.Experts from the industry and other relevant stakeholders will also benefit from the compiled and published materials (Guidelines).The project outputs will be published in full on open webpages all partner universities and will be freely accessible. They will be technically user-friendly. They will be also downloaded into the Platform for Dissemination of Results of Erasmus + Programme.Long-term utilization of project outputs is expected.
