We will create a “cubist self-portrait of today’s society” through multiple artistic expressions. Implemented by 5 partner organisations in 4 EU countries. The project will also contribute to the development of artistic, civic and social potential in their communities and especially in urban areas.OBJECTIVES-Implementing “Artistic Resistances” - through Art Installations, Community Theatre and Documentaries Reportage - bringing together young people in 4 partner countries by telling their stories related to the pandemic and neighbourhood;-Creation of exhibition spaces in partner countries to display participants’ creations, hold performances and collect feedback by the audience and wider public;-Staff training on participatory methodologies and creativity in youth work;-Showcase the situation of the neighbourhood environments during the pandemic by triggering artistic creation processes, also addressing topics such as social inclusion, European citizenship and cultural awareness of citizens and in particular young people;-Promoting contemporary artistic creation as a tool for analysis on social issues, leading to participatory and intercultural dialogue and connecting educational institutions, organisations from social and cultural sectors and young people;-Enhancing participants’ and staff’s socialisation skills and resilience in reaction to Covid-19 crisis through the arts, while gaining tools and competencies necessary to find creative and innovative solutions to face unprecedented social challenges. In particular, the URBANUS-19 will develop:-1 Handbook on Participation Methodologies in youth work;-1 Toolkit on Creativity in youth work;-1 P&C Online Platform for trainers and young people;-1 Blended Hackathon Framework - “Hack on Arts”.TARGET GROUPSThe project targets Vulnerable Young People (VYP) particularly exposed to Covid crisis in terms of social exclusion and lack of labour, creativity and socialisation opportunities, especially in urban areas. Specific sub-groups to be addressed by each partner: VYP with a migration background, young people exposed to cyberbullying, young Roma people and NEETS, young women experiencing social/labour/education exclusion.NEEDS ANALYSISThe COVID-19 health emergency has severely limited the recreational and participatory opportunities of young people outside the home both at European and at the local level. These limitations are a common problem for all countries participants in URBANUS-19, accompanied by the suspension of all educational activities in the presence, thus preventing the regular development of the potential of young people deriving from the development of experiences outside the family context. URBANUS-19 intends to implement interventions, experimental and innovative, for the empowerment of young people, in compliance with indications provided by the various European governments on the safe reopening of participatory and recreational activities.PROJECT PARTNERSHIPProject leader, Orizzonti Social Cooperative (Italy), delivers social and cultural services for the inclusion of young people -some of them with a migration background. Our second Italian partner, Associazione Girotondo, is committed to providing digital and media education for young people, even in cooperation with schools. Our partners from Germany, the Euro-Med Youth Federation (EMYF), is composed of youth initiatives, NGOs, workers and activists in the field of youth empowerment and sustainable development, committed to fostering cooperation in Euro-Mediterranean countries. Moreover, a Romanian partner, Fundatia Professional, equally committed to fostering social inclusion of youth, women with special needs and Young Roma people. Lastly, the partnership includes one organisation from Slovenia, DRPDNM that carries out activities for the inclusion of Roma youth and NEETS as well as for stimulating civil dialogue.TRANSNATIONAL DIMENSIONThis joint work will involve partners from the 4 above-mentioned countries (Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Germany), some with a stronger background in P&C methodologies in youth work as well as in EU-funded projects and others younger in terms of experience. This transnational work will be supported by the European network organisation in the field of youth, our partner EMYF - based in Germany but also working as “network of networks” at Euro-Mediterranean level throughout its network in 40 countries. Our partner DRPDNM will also contribute to this in light of its role as the “Regional NGO Center”, targeting 1.500 NGOs and 21 Municipalities in Slovenia as well as at interregional level.

V.Funder: European Commission Project Code: 2020-1-ES01-KA204-082354Funder Contribution: 159,135 EUR"The scope of ATENEA is to foster European cooperation between different partners (and relevant stakeholders) in adult learning (migrant integration, intergenerational learning, social inclusion) through specific innovative pedagogical approaches using the ""Autobiographical Theatre"" - ATENEA is based on a good practice of “Autobiographical Theatre” that was carried out with mental health disease adults , of the Àmbit Association( Project leader ) in Spain . Domingo Ferrandis's opera ""UN MUNDO APARTE ADENTRO DEL MUNDO"" (A world apart inside of the world) developed in collaboration with Asociación Àmbit, was presented at the Festival of ""10 Senses'' and was sponsored by Bancaja Foundation. The Project is connected with the idea of Autobiographical Theatre and aims to recover, integrate vulnerable and excluded people increasing their personal and as well as social skills and, above all, improving their quality of life. The project aims to address the problem at a transnational level through a team of partners that complement each other towards spreading innovative methods to face the vulnerability. Thus, project wants to rethinking the teaching and adult learning strategies with the Autobiographical theatre approach allows us to construct proposals that include the differences and rediscovering the expressive and communicative possibilities that dramatic art has. Many people live in maximum invisibility, for the rest, in several European countries and in the world and need alternative and innovative strategies to their social inclusion. ATENEA wants “to promote and scale up of Ambit's good practice and to develop it together with international partners: YEPA, Lithuania, K.A.NE., Greece, DRPDNM, Slovenia , Les Cultures , Italy and EMYF, Germany ATENEA project promotes the social inclusion, priority will be given to actions that help address diversity and promote ownership of shared values, equality, including gender equality, and non-discrimination through of non-formal educational and training paths. ATENEA will engage 25 therapist and five different groups of vulnerable people (30 people in all) and about : Women facing social and geographical obstacles; long-term unemployed people ; People with mental diseases ; Asylum seekers/refugees; Women from disadvantaged neighbourhoods and Former inmates. Participants will be involved in7 local workshops and in 4 international pilot training workshops, taking part, at the end in Autobiographical theatre plays. Moreover, they will be involved in a Festival of Autobiographical Theatre in Germany. The pristine idea aims to reflect on the experience in a theatre training process with a group of people with disabilities, who were in vulnerable conditions and diversity. In today's education, there are great challenges to answer the adults’ educational needs who are searching for opportunities for learning. Educational models are sometimes thought from the methods and processes, but leave the beneficiary part aside, on which they affect changes and conditions that the environment provides.Prior to designing and running the workshops' programme, each project partner will conduct an interview with participants and the accompanists. Thus, the needs of the participants and problematic areas to be covered will be identified. The fear of taking up new challenges and changing daily routine, as well as reluctance to any kind of changes will be the main problems shared by the participants and will be managed first between their accompanists. The concept of “Autobiographical Theatre” consists of an original piece based on the contents of the author's personal life (participating user), and the representation in front of an audience. The autobiographical or self-referential piece usually has a revealing aspect that shows personal contents and allows the author / authoress/actor/actress to aesthetically explore events in his life, express feelings such and make visible issues that concern and interest him/her."

Mainly, as all partners, we discussed on Skype and conducted an online survey for educators. The result was 86% that we all need to improve and reshape our teaching practices related to the innovative implementation and competence of the Flipped classroom model and Web2.0 technology. Flipped classroom method is an alternative way implemented with technological tools. In particular, all our partners also need to acquire key competences to enhance their digital skills/digital readiness and reshape their teaching implementations due to they faced challenges to maintain education during Pandemic term. We need to go beyond traditional way of teaching and learning. In this approach, teachers and students work together in a collaborative way. Traditional teaching methods do not meet the needs of students. Students are more involved with innovative technological materials in this century and they are digital natives. Thus, teachers need to give students the opportunity to motivate them to learn effectively inside and outside the classroom. They need more time to spare for implementation and let students study with pre-recorded videos or lessons at home. Therefore, they are prepared to engage in activities and the teacher will have more time to solve problems and implement them. Students will have the opportunity to improve their abilities to analyze, evaluate, assess, and understand. That is, in order to learn effectively, they will discover their learning strategies and achieve academic success. This will therefore enhance the 4Cs abilities of both teachers and students such as creavity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking. We aim to allow the participants to track new and innovative implementations in the teaching and learning process. Through our LTTAs we strongly believe that all partner countries will compensate their needs by working collaboratively. Exchanging good samples will give all partners opportunity to reshape their teaching/learning process at international level. Besides, with acquired key competences, innovative approaches, thus teachers will raise more qualified students for future employment. Students will meet various implementations and get motivated to learn this will reflect to their academic success.
