The main aim of the project is to promote the social entrepreneurship of young women. Gender inequality continues to be a significant issue worldwide. The lack of role models and mentors, gender pay gap and unequal access to funding and venture capital are some of the main obstacles that women face. Cultural barriers appear to be part of the issue, with women not supported or encouraged into entrepreneurship in the same way as their male counterparts. In lots of cases, women faced stereotypes and had to overcome others’ expectations. Of course, women are not just missing from business. Although they account for up to half of the global population, their presence is lacking in entrepreneurship, government and higher levels of professions like STEM professions, medicine, politics and law. The motivation of this project is to facilitate, educate, intricate and reinforce women in social entrepreneurship in order to acquire business fundamentals, provide finance and cost management tools in order to face both systemic and personal barriers to accessing capital. The project aims to create an online business accelerator simulator to help them access information regarding social entrepreneurship and a space for idea sharing, brainstorming and access to possible investors.GEMINI focuses on three main target groups; firstly young women who want to become social entrepreneurs , secondly to Youth Workers (trainers, facilitators, consultants etc) who train, empower and support youth on entrepreneurial topics. The third group are the already successful women entrepreneurs, whose role must be heightened in order to provide an inspiration for the new generations. The Project, through its activities envisages to support Youth and Youth Workers on social entrepreneurship by equipping them with skills and knowledge on the topic. Youth Workers are the connection link with a wide network of youth as they work closely with them. Moreover, it expected the Youth Workers to have a wider dissemination of the projects aims, goals and results to youth as they come in contact with many and diverse youth groups. The project overall is expected to mobilize more than 30 young women and update the skills of 30 Youth Workers. Project partners are the Economic Intelligence Center from Albania, the Social Innovation and Cohesion Institute from Greece, the Nötárs Közhasznú Alapítvány from Hungary, the AUTOKREACJA FOUNDATION from Poland, the INNOVATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE - NGO A.s.b.l. form Luxembourg, the Kadın ve Genç Girişim Merkezi Derneği - Woman and Young Entrepreneurship Centre Association from Turkey, the ASOCIACION CULTURAL INTEGRA from Spain, the Drustvo za razvijanje prostovoljnega dela Novo mesto from Slovenia, the Bosnian Representative Association for Valuable Opportunities from Bosnia and the Center for Support of Local and Regional Development from Montenegro.

‘Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship’ can be broadly defined as the capacity to turn ideas into action, ideas that generate value for someone other than oneself. Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship is a transversal key competence, which every citizen needs for personal fulfilment and development, active citizenship, social inclusion and employment in the knowledge society. (Entrepreneurship Competence Framework, 2016). In the European reference framework ‘Entrepreneurship and a sense of initiative’ is one of eight key competences for lifelong learning which citizens require for their personal fulfilment, social inclusion, active citizenship and employability in a knowledge-based society. All students should have access to entrepreneurship education, which should be offered in all types and at all levels of education. Teachers and schools are key agents: an individual’s chances of receiving good quality entrepreneurship education has depended mainly on the enthusiasm of teaching staff and their ability to secure the right resources. Teachers have a critical role to play in the development of entrepreneurship education. In this respect, with this project we aim to build a system that ultimately enables all students to receive high quality entrepreneurship education that they can use at every stage of the educational process to develop social entrepreneurship competencies To realize this aim to train 32 students through 2 blended mobility of school learners and 115 teachers in 4 joint staff trainings embedded with MOOCs with 4 secondary schools and four non profit organisations from Hungary,Turkey,Greece and Slovenia in 24 months,In the long run,the project is expected to :stimulate innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets among students by introducing entrepreneurship as a key competence in school curricula, particularly in general secondary education and ensure that it is correctly reflected in teaching material;ensure that the importance of entrepreneurship is correctly reflected in education systems design and develop a new model of entrepreneurship education boosting social innovation and social entrepreneurial skills in young people within the School education system in Europe. Enhance the ability to develop own teaching competencies by updating their professional know-how and by recognising the future trends and developments in the employment sector The project is expected to have a significant impact on individual educators and their organisations across Europe, largely related to the developed entrepreneurship resources as a means of providing a new and innovative approach to promoting sustainability and developing related skills in schools. It is anticipated that the resources developed during the project will complement and expand existing training initiatives at various educational levels across Europe and expand traditional teaching and learning practices to include new technologies. The project is expected to offer opportunities for the exchange of ideas and good practices with peers from across Europe through the proposed multiplier event, training sessions and the online platform.

The understanding and awareness of culture is an essential factor in the process of integrating refugees and migrants into the host society, as culture brings people from all over the world together and unites them without having to speak the same language. In our project “EMPOWER IDENTITIES - explore the potential of creative learning” (hereafter IDE 3.0) we will concentrate on performing and visual arts that support creative learning and we will identify and exchange different art methods across Europe. The use of arts can have a positive impact on the well-being of migrants which can be a determinant of successful social integration (Fitzpatrick, F. (2002). A Search for Home. Art Therapy, 19(4), 151–158). The project will concentrate on the concept of culture as an integration mean and the use of creative learning methodologies with a focus on performing and visual art methods which has so far been underestimated when aiming to foster social inclusion.IDE 3.0 addresses migrants and refugees, but also local youngsters with fewer opportunities as social inclusion should not only be limited to the context of migration.Art methods will empower them to reflect on different impacts of their perception and the development of their identity to further foster resilience (especially important also when thinking about the global pandemic these days), they will also become more self-effective and learn how to promote their soft skills.Soft skills will include:- Awareness for one's own identity and values in order to understand one's own perception of other cultures- Rise of self-confidence and personal commitment as being involved in a co-creation process- Ability to express one's own thoughts in a verbal and non-verbal way by using art methodsOn the one hand, the key element of the project lies in exploring and identifying good practices that use performing and visual art methods to strengthen resilience and to foster social inclusion. A toolkit will be produced available free of charge containing the gathered pedagogical tools and materials for other youth workers and institutions. On the other hand, two Blended Learning Activities will give the opportunity to young people to get closer to the arts and culture both of their countries of origin but also of the countries they currently live in and to experience cultural diversity as a chance as well as to empower them to serve as multipliers and learn project based structures. They will be given the chance to experience new ways of learning as they will communicate via digital platforms, share their learning experience with peers, while becoming part of a network of young people around Europe sharing same interests. The target group consists of:1. Young migrants and refugees aged 16-24 years, but also local youngsters with fewer opportunities who need support to strengthen their identity and to build up confidence for a better social inclusion.2. Youth workers working with the above mentioned target groups, especially those who are responsible for the mentoring within their premises.3. NGOs which are dealing with the integration of migrants into society and which have already built an intercultural team or which would like to create a more inclusive team.4. Organizations in the cultural and creative sector as part of a synergy between them and respective NGOs working in the field of social inclusion. All of the above mentionned groups will be involved in different activities of the project by contributing to the creation of the toolkit, by participating in the Blended Learning Activities and by being beneficiaries of the project results. The project aims to:- Raise awareness for the need of social inclusion of migrants and refugees- Explore and identify good practices that use performing and visual art methods to strengthen resilience and to foster social inclusion- Support and encourage youngsters to experience change as a chance - Equip Youth Worker with creative learning tools + methodsAll European countries are affected by immigration and need to develop a common understanding regarding the importance of social inclusion of migrants and people with fewer opportunities into the local community as well as it is crucial to identify and establish a sustainable concept of social inclusion through art methods in formal and non-formal environments, leading to common European values and the prevention of discrimination. With our project, we will set an example of successful social inclusion through creative learning and performing and visual art methods. These methods shall be seen as a role model for other institutions and they shall motivate others to commit themselves to the social inclusion of migrants and youngsters with fewer opportunities. The project not only draws attention to the importance of art in general, but also raises awareness for the art and cultural scene, which is severely affected by the current pandemic.

Projects is capacity building activity of consortium from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia with the aim to involve youth from the countries of former Yugoslavia, that are working in the field of human rights protection and promotion, social inclusion, intercultural dialogue and to challenge prejudices and discrimination in their respective societies by using Living Library method. It works just like a ordinary library: visitors can browse the catalogue for the available titles, choose the book they want to read, and borrow it for a limited period of time (30 minutes). After reading, they return the book to the library and, if they want, borrow another. The only difference is that in the Living Library, Books are people, and reading consists of a conversation. We also have Librarians, Volunteers,Promoters, Dictionaries and Coordinator of Living library. Once more, this method showed what a strong impact it can have on wider communities where Living Libraries have been organized and has the potential to mobilise not only youth, but also general public and has great visibility. The main effect of this method was to contribute to the social inclusion of different marginalized groups of young people and reduce social distance of the citizens towards people from disadvantaged groups who are a subject of stigma and bias and breaking stereotypes and prejudices. One of the strongest points in this method is that it empowers organisers and their beneficiaries by giving them new skills and giving them opportunity to network with people from various discriminated groups, as well as to continue using this tool in future work. Added value was also part of the common social and cultural heritage from the former Yugoslavia that brought all the positive nostalgic undertone to this partnership and opportunity for young people to learn more about their history and culture.Project envisaged several phases and activities, starting with a kick-off and initial training for the Living Library organisers in Croatia, for representatives from six countries (participants form Kosovo did not get visas), which included a small Living Library (as a way of demonstrating and practicing for trainees). In order to have better outreach and include as many trained people as possible and create a “snow-ball effect”, second training was organised in Serbia for the new organisers from all seven countries, which was followed up by the period where seven Living Libraries were organised in each of the partner countries (and besides trainees, more people were involved in preparing and realization). In the final phase of the project, a short movie about Living libraries was created, as well as glossary where all roles in organizing Living library was explained and able for wider usage. At the end of the project, we have follow up meeting, in Sarajevo, BiH, when we had opportunity to evaluate results and plan next steps. In project (decently and indirectly) were involved about 2700 people:42 training participants, 70 readers/local citizens who visited small Living libraries, organized as a part of the training on Mljet, Croatia and Sremski Karlovci, Serbia; more than 600 participants (Books, volunteers, readers...) in national Living libraries; more than 2000 people that were informed about project, human rights, Living library, through TV shows, radio shows, newspapers, project website, social networks...All activities, video evaluation, and project outputs can be found on the project website https://exyull.wordpress.com/
