The project has a duration of 24 months with the start date of June 2019. The participating organisations belong to three countries - Italy, Greece and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia - which well represent the basic value of the European Union: ""United in diversity"" (including in this concept the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia as a candidate country) and represent a set of heterogeneous realities whose competences are completed and enriched. The project has two main priorities: to promote, through the methodology of the Debate, the quality of youth work and the empowerment of young people. The flow of project activities and the work plan outlined have been planned in relation to and in line with these two priorities, with the aim of promoting, through a process of non-formal education and through youth work, the ability of young people to develop their own critical thinking, increasing their participation and their sense of belonging to the values of global citizenship. In line with the priorities and objectives of the project, the participants (about 40 in total) are young people aged18 to 30 who will participate, during the two years of the project, to a series of common activities, both at local and transnational level. In short, the activities envisaged by the project are divided into three phases. The first phase is focussed on training activities on the Debate methodology for the young workers that will start through a joint training activity of five days in Italy. The second phase foresees, in all three partner countries, at local level, the implementation of a non formal educational path to the Debate methodology for a group of 8 young people (for a total of 24 people). The activities will last approximately 12 months and will be implemented through three workshops managed by the youth workers who will have taken part to the first phase of activity and to the joint training activity staff; the workshops will be supported by the use of Google Classroom, Finally, during the third phase, at the end of the training workshops, the young and the participating youth workers, together, will take part to the final blended mobilities in Greece during which transnational Debate activities will be organised.During this phase of activity the participants will be invited to elaborate proposals on the chosen theme (immigration) to be presented to the local authorities of each individual country. The topic has been selected in relation to the analysis of the national contexts of the three countries and in relation to the relevance of the topic within the European and global context. The project path will allow the reading of the phenomenon from an extended point of view with the aim of assessing the phenomenon from a historical perspective at national, European and international level. This approach will allows the analysis of the phenomenon in a broader context: internal migrations, intra-European migration and extra-European migration. The expected results are related to a progressive improvement of the competence and skills of the young workers and young participants, as well as of the participating and associated organisations. As anticipated, within the project the use of the Google classroom platform is envisaged, as a supporting tool; the implementation of a project site; the drafting of guidelines for the use of the Debate methodology in the field of non-formal youth education; the drafting of a series of proposals to improve immigration policies. The project represents an opportunity for growth for all participants and was designed with a view to future development and transfer of experience, in different contexts and on different topics."

Starting from a preliminary sample-survey (done as a test in preparation of the application) on the project topics - continuing VET, basic and transversal skills, labor market, reconciliation of work and family life PerVET project has outlined the opportunities that an alliance between VET learning and training agencies and labor market can offer in order to design a new curriculum, highly advocated to head off the emerging needs of market and people, and capable of meeting the challenges of a ""non-stop changing job"" framework. In accordance with this assumption, PerVET project has defined a new professional - the personal facilitator - a high-skilled person who, inside private companies and public bodies, empowering and working on his/her basic and transversal skills (communication in the mother and foreign languages; digital competence; mathematical competence and basic competences in science and technology; learning to learn; interpersonal, intercultural and social competences and civic competence; sense of initiative and entrepreneurship; cultural expression) can help both working people and companies to reach two strategic results: 1. improving the quality of working environment and the quality of services;2. improving the quality of workers lives (above all women in their reconciliation of work and family lives). The research, conducted at local, regional, national and European level was focused on the project topics and provided crucial base for the creation of the final result: the definition of the new curriculum. The curriculum has been translated into all partner languages (apart from English also Czech, Lithuan and Italian) and has been released as OER (Open educational resource) . The intellectual output has been widely disseminated by an on going coordinated action plan and by the means of the multiplier events: all three events took place at the same time, in the ending phase of the project, and the venues were connected in video-conference in order to create an European scale event, optimizing costs and resources. The 24 months project was designed and implemented by three organizations representing a multi sectorial partnership: a VET provider, a non-profit association and a SME, whose history, profile and expertise ensure the complementarity of the perspectives, requirements and contribution, thus providing for the high quality of the final outcome. The communication among partners was managed by a “blended” modality: during two years of activity there were three transnational meetings and several scheduled video-conferences to which each partner participated. As an added value, the diversity of the partner curricula has let the project strengthen the cooperation with a wide network of stakeholders and to build a strong alliance with different social, economical and political sector. Within the project the role played by the stakeholders was crucial: they took part actively to the implementation of the intellectual output, were main actors during the multiplier events (over 60 participants were invited and hosted – at least 20 for each country) and contributed to the evaluation of the intellectual project output (15 participants – 5 for each country). We expect PerVET project to have a positive impact on the labour market relevance of VET thanks to:- a positive impact on the capacity for dialogue between job labour market and VET;- a positive impact on VET education and training programs ""attraction"";- interactive and involving dissemination strategies. The longer term benefits on people and organizations (partner organizations and stakeholders organizations) can be qualified as a new and actual attitude to respond to a wide range of needs expressed by both people and companies: - the need to improve the continuing VET quality;- the need to meet, by new professionals, the challenges of a “non-stop changing job” framework, This project represents a new and actual attitude to build alliances between educational, social and economic sectors to share win-win strategies to improve people's way of life. All informacion on the project can be found on the project web-site: http://pervet-erasmusplus.eu/"

The aim of integration calls for efforts by the newcomers to understand and accept the basic values of the receiving society as well as for efforts by the hosting countries to understand and accept the basic values of the new migrants and refugees. The aim of this project is to develop, by the medium of youth work, social and civic competences among the youth, local and newcomers, to European countries. In addition it aims to respond to the youth priority of promoting high quality of youth work as it has designed, implemented, tested and disseminated an effective education tool able to support youth workers in developing their daily activities and their channels of communication. Finally, the project aims to respond to the youth priority of promoting empowerment and active citizenship of young people, in particular new migrants and refugees, as it supports young new migrants in their inclusion path. Starting from these core priorities and objectives, the project profile widens its horizon looking at the world around with the aim to promote effective educational tools able to get positive results with people of different backgrounds; to experience an alliance between youth workers centres, educational providers, NGO including immigration and refugee centres and public bodies on the focused issuesThe partnership is a multi sector and innovative agreement among 3 diverse organizations: one ONG dealing with immigration issues (Kvinnor Soma Sverige) from Sweden, a social communication agency (Bluebook srl) from Italy and an association whose core mission is integration and European cooperation in the youth field (Integra) from Spain. Partners worked, along with stakeholders and migration and youth related organizations, in the elaboration, design, evaluation, testing, and implementation of the materials or intellectual outputs of the project. The project worked on two Intellectual Outputs: 1-A series of 15 comic strips focused on the topics: Cultural codes, habits, intercultural communication, stereotypes and prejudices, and discrimination. In dealing with these topics there’s a special attention to the following elements: Identity, Humanisation of the characters, A bidirectional approach to the process. The medium of the comic strips has been chosen because comics are known to be one of the most powerful and effective communication tools, above all in the youth field.2-An annexed guide. The guide accompanies youth workers, step by step, through the process of using the comic strips to communicate, educate and sensitize the young target in the mentioned topics. Through it, youth workers will be able, without outside help, to re-process the comics and exploit them with a wide range of different target profiles (in general young people with fewer opportunities) in different contexts and starting from different topics.Diverse dissemination activities showed firsthand the results of the project in the shape of the comic strips and the guide: dissemination labs to reach a total of 100 youth workers and 3 multiplier events (one in each partner country) with a total of 60 participants from migrant organizations, local decision makers and young migrants and locals. Dissemination through schools network was also implemented and further workshops in the school system are the next step for the materials to be used. They are also available as pedagogical resources in Salto and Epale platforms, in the project website, websites and social networks of all partners. All the participants in the project have been benefit from the activities developed during the 20 months of the project, and it is expected that the impact will be extensive in time and upcoming projects and events as it open to and would be applied in further projects linking the comic as an artistic expression with other arts and tools as theatre, video or music.
