Coding is not anymore a skill for professional programmers, nevertheless, the ability to code, like the ability to read and write, is becoming an essential part of fluency in today’s society. Knowing how to code clearly comes as a valuable job skill, as reports and indicators worldwide show that the number of jobs for programmers and computer scientists is growing rapidly; these skills will be very much desired further on in the future as many jobs of the future, still to be introduced in the world, would require it as invaluable asset. On its official website, the European Commission declares that in a changing world, the EU strives to become a smart, sustainable and inclusive economy. These three mutually reinforcing priorities should help the EU and its member states by stimulating high levels of employment, productivity and social cohesion. The EU’s Europe 2020 growth strategy includes five objectives on employment, innovation, education, social inclusion, and climate and energy to be reached by 2020. In addition, education will play a fundamental role in achieving the Europe 2020 objectives, notably by equipping citizens with the knowledge and skills that the European economy needs in order to remain competitive and innovative. Mobile learning through the use of mobile technologies can help address some of these disparities by providing low cost and easy to implement solutions to make education more accessible to all students. Taking this into consideration, in terms of youth development through mobile learning, the mYouth project involved diverse partners from 3 continents (Europe, Asia and Africa) who have knowledge and experience in new technologies and generated substantial results on a European level as well as beyond. With jointed efforts of 10 organizations based in Austria, FYR Macedonia, Ghana, Italy, Spain, Poland, Senegal, Singapore, Hong Kong and Bulgaria, youth who were part of this project created a strong inviolable and very concrete network for mobile apps development. The project set a path for inter-continental learning opportunity and capacity building of individuals which in the end will give new light to the identity of the European and the global “e-citizen”, as he/she is to be redefined in the “m-citizen” – a citizen who will develop and grow by using the mobile technology learning model.Furthermore, the project impact was gained through the following activities: kick-off meeting that took place in Salzburg, Austria, local mobile app camps organized in 10 countries, training on android and business modeling development in Skopje and Ohrid, Macedonia, European Youth Award ceremony in Graz, Austria as well as an evaluation meeting in Singapore. As part of the project, more than 30 mobile applications were developed, many of them are available for download on iTunes or Google play. Four of the apps produced within the mYouth project succeeded among the category winners at the well-known WSYA: Andando in the category Go Green, Pedosa in the category Digital Generation, egiBU in Education for All and Picture Word in Fighting Poverty, Hunger and Disease. As well, we added organization profiles to know local opportunities and know more in-detail information about opportunities within the country. This project is our proposed improvement to global and generalized youth opportunity platforms that require a lot of time for youngsters and sometimes tend to demotivate them to seek opportunities. Together with partners who works in our field we want to develop localized opportunity platforms in the Republic of North Macedonia and Northern England to activate and motivate youngsters to develop themselves both professionally and personally. That is impact we are working for - young people who knows that they have opportunities no matter what obstacles they might have, and organizations who have platform where they can communicate with youngsters and have all the technical features for organizational needs. With two additional partners involved – World Merit and Mladiinfo, and team of experienced young people behind this project we are ready to implement this project beyond online solution. We will develop local events in every country for youth and organizations, multiplier events with additional beneficial value and social media content that is useful to young people yet easy to understand. We see that it is important to spread the information about our platform geographically by addressing organisations and youth workers within events in specific regions. However, we will not stop there, as this project is a stepping stone for the future collaborations between these organisations, as well as a stepping stone for opening new ‘opportunity platforms’ around the Europe and around the globe. That is the exact reason why such a careful attention will be paid to the modularity and robustness of the developed IT platform.

The youth remain one of the most vulnerable groups in these turbulent times and therefore, the current EU-YOUTH strategy by the European Commission has recognized the needs to provide more and equal opportunities for young people in education and in the job market and to encourage young people to actively participate in society. The idea behind the Cease Cowering: Youth Empower Action Here (CC: YEAH!) project led by Mladiinfo International and its partners: Mladiinfo Slovakia The Global Experience and Iversity.org, was to create sustainability through youth empowerment and to transform youth into active citizens, well-educated and with well-developed skills and tools to contribute to the labor market and move the society forward. The idea behind the CC: YEAH! project lies exactly in providing a program that will strength the capacities of young people to locate, exploit and transfer the knowledge and skills that are available online in the sphere of education and work, and in that way to make an example of how young people can grow into active citizens and change-makers in their societies. The very implementation of the project which strives at providing the first on-line MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) course in the field of youth empowerment and building youth capacities as well as a handbook, presents a unique material of this type. Whilst most of the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are focused on enhancing the knowledge on particular formal education topic and are moreover one-way oriented, Mladiinfo International attempted to actively include the youth and provide a two-way communication through the web-platform, as well as to provide guidance and not only teaching material but also a concrete actions plans and consultancies. Moreover, the priorities addressed by the project are: supporting the production and adoption of OER in diverse European languages, as well as promoting the professional development of staff and youth workers in ICT methodologies. In accordance with the priorities defined in the ERASMUS + Programme Guide, the project was expected to enhance the quality and relevance of education, training and youth work, to increase the entrepreneurship, languages and digital skills of youth, to develop critical thinking by using ICT, OER and virtual mobility, as well as to level up the management and coordination between the three Mladiinfo Network members. A kick off meeting, where 4 participants (1 from each organization) gathered and defined the forthcoming activities took place in Germany. The long-term youth worker mobility was foreseen as one of the crucial project actions, where 2 youth workers from M! International came to the office of M! Slovensko in Mlynska Dolina, Bratislava, and jointly worked with their 2 Slovak colleagues on the content of the MOOC course and the handbook with title ""Discover Yourself: Build a Career and Make an Impact"". The project results were evaluated online. The project target was to reach minimum 100,000 youth globally that will become aware about the required skills and competencies needed for youth career development and where minimum 1000 youth globally will get the chance to have their soft, entrepreneurial and digital skills increased through non-formal online education opportunities. The course itself had more than 1300 participants and it was widely promoted on the web-pages and social media of participating organizations. Last but not least, the project CC: YEAH! is a starting point for strategic mutual response on youth unemployment and youth exclusion in the region of South-East and Central Europe and broader, including the EU member-states, and the non-EU countries. It was a bottom-up process that initiated strong youth partnerships in the field of education and acted as generator on future ideas and activities that use the youth enthusiasm and empower young people for action all around the globe."

In the development of learning program two organizations will be involved, the first from Ireland and the second from Greece. They will transfer knowledge and experience related to stimulation of entrepreneurial spirit among rural population and develop learning program. In addition on-line tool will be design and posted on the project web page. The project’s approach is market-oriented and participatory and it involves three phases of flexible duration, depending on how the process advances. Each phase has a specific objective, a set of activities and a closing event where results are presented to and discussed with a wider group of stakeholders.3 steps project methodology will be applied in this project:-observation in the first project phase-solutions in the second and-implementation in the third project phase. In the first phase research i.e. context analysis will be carried out in order to identify agri businesses that shown biggest market potential. Entrepreneurial knowledge generally leads to economic growth and job creation. There is theoretical and empirical evidence that relates entrepreneurial knowledge with business, management and economy. Entrepreneur plays a pivotal role not only in the development of industrial sector of a country but also in the development of agriculture and Macedonian has huge potential in agriculture which unfortunately is not enough utilized. While through it we aimed on educating young people on social entrepreneurship and empowering them on action in Europe and East Africa, now we focused on providing durable development of the social entrepreneurship initiatives and we expanded our activities in the region of South Africa. YES, We Care Too project’s general aims are in terms of promoting young people’s active engagement in the society, contributing to the quality development of employability and building youth’s life skills, as well as building the capabilities of civil society organizations in the youth field and social entrepreneurship. Via capacity building activities (contact-making seminars, training courses, etc.) the project´s priority was to increase the capacities of the youth organizations from Africa and Europe to embrace socio-political and economic diversity, to increase the potential for sustaining SE ecosystems and empower young people on active citizenship. Looking at the challenges holistically, facing the Forth Industrial Revolution and discussing the work skills of the future, the entrepreneurship has to be understood in the context of engagement and impact on the community, a tool not only for employment, but also for gaining life skills, strengthening one’s social responsibility, and developing empathy. Namely, this is what we wanted to achieve with our project Youth Empowerment through Social Entrepreneurship “We Care, Too”: YES “We Care, Too”, where together with our partners from two continents we have addressed the social entrepreneurship as a tool for self-employability, impact and empowerment. YES, We Care Too was inspired by the work of Mladiinfo in educating and empowering youth on social entrepreneurship, through different perspectives: using digital tools, boosting employability skills or raising awareness on solidarity and social responsibility. Already in the first edition of the project we had created the platform: www.socialinnovators.eu with up to now 66 presented social impact ideas, operating businesses, and relevant players in the social entrepreneurship (SE) ecosystem. Through the project trainings, we provided youngsters with know-how to spot impact ideas as well as to turn their ideas into business. In this second edition, we have continued to develop it further, adding the videos, learning materials and other relevant resources both for young entrepreneurs and youth organizations. YES, We Care Too is the intercontinental partnership building with a network of youth organizations: Young Africa with its branch offices in Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Namibia. A network of partners created a stable structure for project implementation and impact outreach, which added to the close partnerships previously developed by the European partners (Mladiinfo has cooperated with Social Impact Award on the first project edition, as well as on several other SE-related projects, it also cooperates with Risky Business on capacity-building KA2 project on mobile learning – mYouth). YES, We Care Too, spotlighted not only the social impact initiatives, but worked on their sustainability also by creating a network and community of young social entrepreneurs. The network has reached know-how on employability topic and youth, as well as stakeholder partnerships. The project was in line with the priorities of Erasmus + programme, EU Youth Strategy and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in particular decent work and economic growth and industry, innovation and infrastructure.
