We all share the same concern about the future of our pupils in the European Union. The partners were strategically selected from different parts of EuropeThe aim was to close the gap in social equality in the young generation of Europe and work for social and ecological sustainability by raising the awareness about food and health, providing a greater variety in teaching methods to reach larger group of pupils, make education more interesting, creative and inspiring in order to enhance a higher achiechivement in basic skills as maths and language, prevent early school leaving and promote a better public health. The aim was to train and learn about English language, analythic skills, social science, biology, statistics, geography, craft, mathematics, domestic science, self promoting, ICT using and other skills.Activities to do this were:Compare common dishes in different countries Compare cultivation, import and export of different local food as crops, animals etc Compare the extent of and the attitudes towards ecological growingDevelop a school garden or green houseDevelop composting of rests from the school cantineDiscuss healthy and ecological sustainable food habitsCompare health promoting activities in countries, schools etc Compare health problemsDiscuss solutions to local health problemsVisit partner schools with groups of pupils in ages 13-15 yearsMake project documentary filmWrite articlesThroughout all activities we tried to work with statistics and other mathematical tools to present results and make comparisonsIn organisation:We wanted to set up forms for power talks with school health and we have had sessions together with school health during the project period. We have found that the work done by school health already is enough and there is no need for any more forms for ""Health talks"". We have made surveys, validated by the University of Gothenburg about food and health habits every year in the participating group of students. The results and statistics from these surveys are shared with the school health. The longlasting outcomes produced during the project; a manual for teachers, a recipe book for youths, a green house and a school garden will help us and other stakeholders to continue the work in following groups of pupils. The work with our school gardens has already been well implemented and our students often ask for outdoor activities in the gardens. Surrounding society:Within the project, all project partners have started a closer cooperation with either the school canteens. the university, environmental administration, fair trade organisations, different enterprises connected to our topic, educational villages or other stakeholders. We will all continue to find new cooperation partners outside our schools, for instance nursery schools, eldery care centers in the neighbourhood, parents etc"

Jana Pawla II w Kleosinie,Schule am Meer Luebeck,Hemnes SentralskoleFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-DE03-KA229-059822Funder Contribution: 76,288 EURIn a time of a pressed and competitive European job market, many young people finds themselves unemployable after leaving school with little transversal or practical skills and no formal qualifications. The expenses - economically, emotionally and socially - are considerable. JOB! wants to focus on the possibilities and responsibilities that the education system has to influence this situation in a positive way – to highlight the opportunities of the European society and the opportunities of the individual. The schools involved in the project cover a wide range of age levels, cultures and traditions from which we all have something to contribute to the collective good, and by exchanging examples of good practice we will not only be able to adopt and implement existing methods, but to further generate innovative practices to the benefit of pupils across Europe. Our aim is for our schools to develop and improve dynamic systems for Career Guidance involving a European perspective. We intend to organize Career Weeks in each partner school involving pupils and staff from all partner countries, as well as regional participants such as career guidance networks, career centres, and representatives from higher education institutions and local enterprise. Throughout the project we will examine our respective traditional local industries and identify contemporary needs in order to ensure that today’s pupils are equipped in the best way possible to grasp the opportunities of tomorrow’s working life. Our objective is to empower the participants' abilities on different levels e.g. language, awareness of competences and requirements, and the confidence to engage in new possibilities. The exchange and application of ideas and best practice examples between our schools and our partners will help us to fulfill that aim.

We shared common goals: prevention of early school leaving, willingness to continue learning, openness to other cultures. Schools participating in the project have many years of experience in running European projects.During the project, the following activities were carried out:workshops for teachers in Greece were organized - ""Teachers' burnout and student motivation to learn"" and in Portugal - ""Active methods in science teaching"".Thanks to these trainings, teachers gained knowledge about coping with occupational burnout, ways of motivating students to learn and using active methods during classes. Based on the acquired knowledge, they prepared training for teachers in individual schools and workshops for students.Teachers enriched their workshop with new active methods (experiments). This knowledge helped them motivate students to learn, develop their social skills, learn their logical and critical thinking.Three of the students' meetings took place in Portugal, Poland and Greece, during which the students had the opportunity to learn informally, because learning is not only a school. This allowed students to develop language skills, break the language barrier, become more open to different cultures and tolerance, their self-esteem was increased During these meetings, students took part in workshops during which they worked in international groups implementing tasks resulting from the subject of the project. There were 4 meetings of the coordinators during which the most important principles of cooperation, ways of implementing project tasks, financial management as well as evaluation and dissemination of the project were discussed. The project prepared a number of information materials that enabled dissemination and promotion of the project results. For this purpose, the Twinspace platform is used, the blog project websites of participating school and leading authorities, as well as traditional methods of promotion in the form of posters, leaflets, information at meetings, meetings, articles in the press, interviews. Each of the partners was involved in the dissemination of the project in their country - dissemination conferences took place, which met with great interest of the local community and teachers from the neighboring schools were invited, and the information materials were prepared in the appropriate language of the partner country. The project implementation also influenced the promotion of schools in the region. The developed materials that are the results of the project have been published on publicly available platforms, and links to them are posted on the websites of our schools so that they can be downloaded and used by other educational institutionsThanks to the very high activity of teachers who engaged in the implementation of this project, we can say that they noticed the benefits of this kind of experience. Each of the schools can see only positive sides from the implementation of this project, we will certainly cooperate with each other in the future. Teachers taking part in this project gained motivation to acquire knowledge and have already written new projects."
