"The Y2Y project, promoted by three Unions of Municipalities from three different EU countries and by an expert association in youth policies, has developed an operating model for strengthening youth entrepreneurship actions in rural and disadvantaged areas in Italy (Sicily), Bulgaria (Black Sea) and Spain (Andalusia). The project was aimed primarily at the youth population and more specifically at unemployed young people and outside the context of education and training (NEET), as well as youth workers of the Municipalities, or officials and operators of the Municipalities who are involved in various capacities from youth policies. The project created an operating model that follows the B2B model, inspired by the exchange and comparison between subjects operating on the same product. In this case, the exchange does not take place at the level of the Business, but at the level of the subjects concerned, or between young people, or young people and youth workers, in a constructive dialogue process based on the subject and personal variables, in this case the main life skills. The Y2Y model is a model that supports the individual resources of young people, especially creativity, resourcefulness, the capacity for self-realization, but also for ""self marketing"". If on the one hand it is true that young people are given the opportunity to highlight their ideas, on the other it is also true that what young people try to value is their ability to be in the European network and to propose and invent ideas .14 young Europeans were offered a blended training model based on humanistic coaching and life skills and 18 youth workers a training course based on humanistic coaching. Through a service platform young people have promoted their entrepreneurial ideas and youth workers have supported the models proposed by the boys by supporting their communication and promotional choices. The Y2Y model is made available through an interactive platform which, in addition to welcoming innovative ideas and promoting them in the European network, offers the opportunity to take advantage of the contents of the training (webinars and short lessons), and the toolkits developed for use by the final target and all those who want to know and share the strategies tested."

"Den-Cupid consortium consists of eight partners with diverse but complementary background in the field of cultural heritage management including Universities, SMEs, cultural associations, authority representatives and other stakeholders. Among others, the joint activities included the conduction of three transnational project meetings, where the partners established their functional cooperation schema, decided on the strategic pathways to be followed throughout the project, monitored the project evolution and took any mitigation measures whenever needed. One main axis of the project was the conduction of four international educational workshops in equal European host-countries, with over 70 participants in total. Experienced trainers guided the workshop discussions in order to present both in theory and in practice major cultural heritage managerial issues, provide well-structured cultural projects for local authorities or private stakeholders, highlight the best practices on cultural sustainability and explore the process of ultimately receiving funding for a future cultural project. The interaction with and among the trainees in those physical meetings was beneficial to both ends, as on one hand the trainers could effectively showcase invaluable insights based on their working experience and on the other hand the trainees could identify future collaboration frameworks and extend their perspectives individually or organizational wide. The main results of the project, which are openly available, may be concluded as follows; A) The proposition of a training methodology for any interested party in the cultural heritage management sector, B) The collection of valuable training material to be used as a guide for further development, C) The provision of a benchmark-type and needs' assessment educational survey of the participant countries, D) The showcase of four real-life cultural scenarios, where a significant number of different stakeholders is profiled and may inspire future relative activities, E) The provision of a collaborative electronic educational platform as a tool to establish new cooperation, receive mentoring from expert individuals, promote entrepreneurial mentality, improve skills and competencies, exchange insights and ideas. The above results were disseminated by all partners, mostly by the participating networks, through the participation in national and international cultural conferences and workshops, via the integrated project channels and by any bilateral networking initiated within the range of the project. In a few words, the legacy of the project may be concluded as a ""one-stop-shop"" for any interested stakeholder involved in the world of cultural heritage management to receive insights for competency improvement."

SIMPLA responds to topic EE 7 ‘Enhancing the capacity of public authorities to plan and implement sustainable energy policies and measures’ and its ultimate goal is empowering public authorities to develop, implement and finance sustainable energy policies and actions by creating the conditions for a smart integration between SEAPs (Sustainable Energy Action Plans) and SUMPs (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans) - or similar plans - in cities, towns and their aggregations with a population between 50.000 and 350.000 inhabitants. SIMPLA’s work-plan focuses on the establishment of a network of National Focal Points (NFPs) in 6 countries (expanding to further 12 through replication actions) merging technical expertise, methodological know-how and institutional capacity of technical partners and public authorities. The NFPs realize an ambitious, innovative work-plan, encompassing capacity building and coaching (on-site and via the web), enhancement of multi-level governance looking for synergies and economies of scale, extensive involvement of public authorities and stakeholders, promotion of mutual learning and best practices. EU added value (involving countries and areas with different levels of tradition in integrated mutli-sector planning) and capitalization of previous EU-funded initiatives are among the project's guiding principles. SIMPLA thus contributes to the EU’s energy and climate targets for 2020 and beyond, reducing GHG emissions, increasing the share from RES and improving energy efficiency, focusing upon sectors with high energy-saving potential (primarily buildings, renewables for electricity production, urban freight transport and passengers’ mobility). The intensive exploitation of existing networks to promote and support the implementation of project activities in the framework of a sound and comprehensive promotion and dissemination plan helps guarantee a consistent and significant impact on a wide, relevant and varied audience.
