Our municipality is receiving a large number of immigrants and refugees. Many of these newly arrived foreigners, due to their age, start up their social activity in our upper secondary school. The local government implements a series of measures for their everyday life in school and in the community. School stuff is also offered participation at conferences, courses, meetings related to refugees and immigrants situation. Through this project we struggle to focus on the ordinary students, either native, already integrated immigrants or second generation ones. What we are focusing to achieve through this project will lead to a better encounter between these ones and the newly arrived. Having in view the environmental, economic, political, humanitarian crises and wars, ongoing in the world, we need to focus on the maintenance and further development of our democratic societies. The situation is furthermore compounded by a crisis of vision and values. We need to educate our students to the democratic values, promoting equity, social cohesion and active citizenship. The teachers involved in the project have been selected according to their linguistic competences, cultural background, coordination skills and curricula. We all have to be aware of our European citizenship and to be sensitive to the above issues. The fundamental idea of the project is for students and teachers to experimentally and interdisciplinary approach the identity of the immigrant and refugee and to realize that we allpotentially are refugees or immigrants. The objective is to welcome cultural diversity and to remove discrimination and segregation within the school and the wider social environment. There are six teachers, one headmaster and six groups of students involved in the mobilities. We intend to use different methodologies for carrying out the planned activities, like making documentary podcast, having exhibitions, creating games, writing note-books, having oral presentations on the thematic topics.Students will get a valuable management experience in the project and will require transverse competence such as planning, problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and innovation. They will also use and improve their knowledge of foreign languages as well as information and communication technologies. When it comes to long-terms benefits we can mention that the mobility results will be integrated in the curriculum so that all students in school will approach them, the concrete material will be published on the website to everybody's access. The school representatives, both adults and youngsters will continue the cooperation with other schools, local organisation but also national and international ones.

We got worried about physical health of our youngters four years ago and decided to implement Erasmus project to improve the situation. During the project time of three years we completed predefined tasks and six times we had LTTA in each countries to continue our cooperation within tasks. Every time at least two teachers and six students travelled from each school. So - 40 all together per LTTA.Theme of the first project year was movement.Autumn 2016We started our work with skype conferences in order to assure all necessary preparations will and had been made. Same time we started measuring our youngster with polar activity meters which motivated them to move more and to pay attention to healthy habits. Unfortunately we lost many of the meters as European post offices lost them while we sent them to other countries. Fortunately really many of our students were able to use them before that.Same time during Autumn 2016 our coworker in University of East Finland implemented inquiry about healthy habits in each partner schools. Handling of this research is still between as University work is often bit slow. Dissemination of our work is partly made with help of university as soon their work will be ready.Spring 2017First LTTA was supposed to be held in Bitonto, Italy, 8.-14.1. 2017. However - one day before the scheduled travel day Activity was cancelled because heavy snow storm in South Italy. Only Finnish team travelled but stopped in Rome due Force Major situation (They would have lost all ticket moneys anyway. Some other teams lost also their moneys but decided not to travel at all.).So – first big LTTA was in Zawiercie, Poland, 14.-20.5.2017. Before that we researched physical activity statistics, how to motivate youngters to move more, sport surroundings and physical education in each country. Moreover partners studied for example about strength endurance, Maximum strength, Speed, Mobility etc. During the LTTA2 in Zawiercie we had a city walk, get to know school, project coordinating meetings, different kind of sports, Sightseeing Crakow and Katowice, rock climbing etc. After every LTTAs we wrote newspaper articles about our project and current LTTA. Moreover we arranged school conferences for whole schools to tell others about the project.Theme of the second project year was nutrition.Autumn 2017 (5.-11.11.)During LTTA3 in Madrid, Spain we had project coordinating meetings, lectures about health, sports, town walks, coocing with real chef etc. Before the LTTA we found out about traditional foods in Finland.During LTTA we also started to do our healthy recipes book.Spring 2018 (8.-14.4.)During LTT4 in Olomouc, Czech Republic we had project meetings and work shops to continue our work and finish the Healthy Cook book. Moreover we had city tours, cooking healthy dishes, lecture about healthy lifestyle, rafting, sport etc. Before the LTTA we found out about healthy and typical meals in Finland.Autumn 2018Finally we were able to implement also LTTA1 all together 11.-17.2018 in Bitonto, Italy. Before journey we found out about popular sports, PE, fan action and sport men and women in each country.During the LTTA we presented our work same way as also during previous LTTA’s, had nature walk, project meetings, had city visits, orienteering etc.Spring 2019During LTTA5 in Suonenjoki, Finland (12.-20.1.) we started our work with new health curriculum work which was finished during last LTTA in Germany. We also worked with PE idea bank where we worked with different kind of mobile apps. Before the LTTA we found out about ideas for PE idea bank, ideas for new healthy curriculum, campaigns about reducing consumption of alcohol etc, in each country and youth system in each partner country.During LTTA6 (7.-13.4.) in Lemgo, Germany we deepened our understanding in school physical education and healthy eating during school days. "The focus of the project ""Our lives In 20 years"" was to discuss and carry out a versatile set of transnational activities about the future developments and changes in the fields of energy, education, communication, employment, housing and family life.We shed light to the current situation in the participating countries and tried to foresee the changes that may take place within the next years. These changes affect the generation of our students in various aspects of their lives. Regardless of their home country, young people in Europe are all facing similar questions as to what their future life will look like. In this project, we wanted the students to understand change as a challenge to take an active part in shaping their future in a Europe which is becoming ever more global. We also wanted to promote European awareness and make the students realize that their future prospects depend on being flexible, understanding different cultures, mastering foreign languages and being prepared for lifelong learning. We worked together with five partners (Czech Republic, France, Italy, Poland, Scotland) we found via eTwinning; one of which has never participated in a transnational project. We specifically chose two partners from Eastern Europe because firstly, we have not been involved with them before, and secondly because of close historic and current ties between Germany, France, Poland and the Czech Republic. For a smooth realization of the project all participants undertook to pay attention to the cost limit, time management and timely preparation of the single meetings. Information to be shared, decisions to be made, activities to be modified, etc. was based on common agreements and supported by all partners. All this was accompanied by several evaluations during and after the project. In the project, we organized a number of mobilities including two transnational project meetings for organizational matters and six learning/teaching/ training activities in the different countries planned around a specific aspect of life such as ""energy"", ""education"", ""communication"", ""employment"", ""housing"" and ""family life"", so all in all there were eight mobilities.Project activities took place as collaborative work in transnational groups mainly, either in the distance or during the meetings. They included surveys, workshops, theatre or film sequences, recordings, letters, posters, PowerPoint presentations or slide shows, newspaper articles, etc. These activities were carried out and prepared in all partner schools before the meetings. The students made researches about the various topics and ambassadors presented the results to the other partners during the meetings. Students worked using various tools suggested by the teachers or themselves. The students became more aware of the challenges of their future in a European context, reflected through collaborative work on what skills will be needed to cope with their lives in 20 years and realized chances and problems on an international level. Teachers were given training sessions during the meetings which gave them the opportunity to increase their knowledge and pedagogy. Gathering teachers and school staff from six different countries lead to more national and international contacts that helped to find a common understanding of European school curricular, extra-curricular activities and a general knowledge of each other's education system. The parents were offered direct and indirect participation in the project which included international contacts. They were able to see the results and products made by the students during the mobility times. They became more aware of the situation in Europe which might affect their children's future. For companies and experts that were visited and/or invited during the meetings in the different countries it was an opportunity to present themselves to an international audience. The whole school community, students, teachers and parents, but also the general public are able to see the results of our project, because they are presented and made available to everyone on the project website and the schools homepages which were updated regularly. All Erasmus+ activities were transparent, i.e. all members of the school community were encouraged to take part in the project activities with equal opportunities.Everybody taking part in the project ""Our Lives In 20 Years"", male or female, young or old, learnt a lot. Thanks to this project, the students worked out their lives in 20 years. The results of the project finally achieved that the students take care for and build up their own responsibly future."
