It contained two training courses, in which the participants gained knowledge about migrations that were in that moment becoming even bigger issue in the region, its roots and causes, the difficulties and threats that refugees and migrants are facing and learn different techniques and methods how to approach and support them. The third activity was a seminar where the participants were able to jointly develop a tool kit for empowerment of other outreach workers in this field. This training was aimed for 30 youth workers who were interested in using outreach techniques while working with migrants in their local communities. - assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:UDRUZENJE GRADANA PRODORUDRUZENJE GRADANA PRODORFunder: European Commission Project Code: 566068-EPP-1-2015-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBY-WBFunder Contribution: 59,139.8 EUR- Include me was a project with innovative approach to develop capacities of youth organizations to support young people with tendency for early school leaving. It was the opportunity for youth workers and other parties working with young people to first explore existing, then develop new methods and finally offer to this target group methods allowing them access to knowledge and modern skills needed for equal opportunities in life and specially in labor market. Project was aiming to build capacities of youth workers and youth organizations, before the other, to be able to work with possible ESL with methods that will be taking into account the learning styles and needs of these young people. For this purpose during the project the training scheme for youth workers was developed giving them needed tools for working with possible ESL students. After the preparation period and preparation meeting we went through with study visit to Brussels where stakeholders collected valuable information from institutions and organizations working for and with ESL. Stakeholders gave their perspective of the topics and directions in which training scheme should be developed. The expert present at the stakeholder meeting started at this point to develop a t- kit, which was readjusted during the several phases of the project. T- kit general frame was developed at training for youth workers and other participants working with possible ESL. This training was tailored to meet two goals: a) to build capacities of participants to become able to work with ESL b) involving participants working on developing new methods for working with ESL which became a part of training scheme. At this point participants gave their contribution to t-kit preparation. After this we went into pilot period when participants from the training became multipliers for the developed methods. With new training scheme youth workers went to schools from Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo* and BiH which are detected as a schools of choice for possible ESL. They implemented number of test workshops collecting important comments from participants of the workshops and making their own remarks about the validation of the methods developed. T- kit was finalized after the pilot period. Its general parts were shared online almost from the start of development of the methods but its final version was posted fully online at this point and is left to be used by youth workers, organizations and institutions dealing with overcoming the challenges of ESL. This curriculum was made in English, Albanian, Bosnian, Serbian and Montenegrin and can be used by wide community committed to work in field of ESL. Project team proceeded with intensive advocacy for its use which was done to involve even wider range of possible stakeholders. This project was successful in creating cross sectorial cooperation between youth organizations, educational institutions, and business sector by gathering them at the start of the project to offer their perspective for the topic; Capacities of youth organizations were built trough mobility activities, study visit and training to produce flexible learning methods for young people with poor school performance; New training scheme and online training kit were launched to be used by the community committed to ESL phenomena and young people affected by it; Advocacy activities were undertaken informing practitioners and institutions dealing with this problem about new flexible NFE training schemes that should support their work with young people with poor school performance. This was done in youth organizations, training platforms (CoE, YFJ, SALTO) schools/institutes/educational centers and other public institutions dealing with additional training and re-qualification for better access to labor market. - assignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:UDRUZENJE GRADANA PRODOR, CONNECT INTERNATIONALUDRUZENJE GRADANA PRODOR,CONNECT INTERNATIONALFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2020-2-RS01-KA205-065478Funder Contribution: 28,389 EUR- "In recent years we have concluded that information on Erasmus + and similar programs reach a small number of young people and that users are recruited mainly from the same sources. In addition to the trend of participant repetition, we also noticed that some youth groups were isolated or self-isolated from these opportunities. “Bad” students believe that this is not for them and do not sign up for these programs that, according to them, are intended for the ""elite"" of good students. Even when they find out about mobility, they do not have the confidence to join it, they don’t believe they will be selected and are not aware of all the benefits of these programs. So how should we get to them and which message should we send to make them think about participating at mobility?BUM and Connect have decided to use digital communication tools as they are used in business sector to prepare models to inform and motivate young people to participate in mobility activities. These organizations will also prepare a sustainable system for facilitating the departure of young people for mobility through the creation of a platform at which organizations can obtain ready-made models for informing different youth groups and at which they could share information on mobility. The aim of the project is to create a model for sustainable informing of young people about mobility opportunities through European projects in which they would gain relevant experience and competences needed for their more successful education and employment.Specific objectives:SC! - Developing new communication models that would enable youth organizations to effectively inform and motivate specific youth groups to participate in mobility activitiesSC2- Developing a sustainable system through which organizations can reach potential participants for their activities among young people who do not have information on youth workSC3- Promoting developed models and platform to educate as many organizations as possible about how they can be used to reach as many potential beneficiaries as possible and maximize the effects of youth work and youth programs. At the start we will create research on existing models for informing young people about opportunities for mobility. The results of this research will help us to set up a base for the creation of Models for informing young people about mobility, as well as for creating a platform on which models for youth information will be presented. During the training we will organize youth workers will improve their knowledge and skills for applying the models for informing young people about mobilities. It will later be passed on to the YO and will be used by them in their future work. Through the Campaign to introduce the results of the project, we will inform YO and other stakeholders about Models and Platform, as well as young people who are future participants in the mobility programs. We expect that throughout the project, youth organizations and young people will be able to test their effectiveness. The innovation in this project is represented by: 1- models made for organizations and 2-platform on which these models will be presented and on which information will be available to young people and youth organizations. These models will include: an explanation of how to segment the target group, an approach to formulating a message made for the specific segments, a guide to using communication channels with the application of business knowledge of targeted message placement (algorithms and other digital tools, etc.), as well as mechanisms for checking the success of these models. A step by step approach to creating mini communication strategies for the needs of youth organizations will be possible on the platform itself. YO will be able to use not only the mechanism, but also the finished models for specific target groups defined after the research, which they could apply directly in their work without further research. The platform will also contain specific calls from organizations for mobilities, experiences of former users of similar programs, and also the possibility of direct communication between organizations and young people interested in a particular activity. The models and platform will be available to all stakeholders, whether they are organizations offering their services to young people or young people seeking for such information. Any other parties interested in wellbeing of young people could also use them, analyze, comment and enhance their exchanges with one another. The impact of this project will thus be multiple. At the local level, young people who have gone through mobility programs will improve their communities by using the newly acquired knowledge and skills for their benefit, at the regional level mobility will help to establish cooperation, and as for the European level its interest is young people without prejudice, which can all be achieved through increased youth mobility."
