Although there are different employment support services for PWDs, their capacity in partner countries does not cover the national requirements. In filling this gap, the NGOs providing counselling and training for PWDs aimed at joining the labour market and using the potential of experts by experience play an increasingly important role.In our project, expert by experience is a PWD, who has been able to overcome and resolve the challenges of his/her life and who will be able, by improving his/her skills and competences by accomplishing this innovative training program, to offer his/her experience to help others in a similar situation. The main objectives of the project was to develop and strengthen an international network of organisations aimed at reintegration of PWDs, professionalisation of organisations, improving the knowledge and developing competences of mentors, vocational advisors, as well as PWDs through their involvement in an innovative training program for experts by experience and, support the (re)integration of PWDs.As part of the specific objectives, we focused on the activities and creation of particular outputs: organising a workshops, compiling an electronic collection of best practices, developing an Innovative Training Programme for experts by experience, training of trainers and additional PWDs as potential experts by experience, creating information materials (flyer, brochure) and designing a website (https://experience-erasmusplus.eu/).The partnership consisted of four organisations from four countries - Spoluprácou pre lepšiu budúcnosť – Veľký Meder (Slovak Republic), Human Profess Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., Szombathely (Hungary), Fundația creștină diakonia filiala Sfântu Gheorghe (Romania), Dost Egitim Turizm Insaat Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., Ankara (Turkey) which provide consultancy and/or social services for various disadvantaged groups, or function as accredited employers operating sheltered workshops and workplaces. The main output of the project is the Innovative blended-learning Training Programme for experts by experience available in five different languages, which is freely available on the Internet. It contains the theoretical learning material divided into 14 chapters and available also in the form of e-learning, tests associated with each main theme and 43 interactive practical exercises. It aims to expand the knowledge and develop practical skills needed to provide consulting to PWDs. The programme was developed by a team of experts with a wealth of experience based upon the outputs of workshops organised in partner countries with the participation of 79 relevant labour market actors and, the electronic collection containing 11 best practices applied to the training of experts in partner countries. The innovative aspect of the programme is its possibility to adjust the learning of the theoretical material to the individual pace of learners due to using ICT in adult education on the basis of:- an e-learning platform including the training materials and tests to verify the level of theoretical knowledge, and- a shared platform to exchange experiences allowing the learners to consult the trainers during the course of the study. The testing of the Innovative Training Programme was participated in by 8 trainers and 49 adult learners – PWDs and received a positive feedback in all involved countries.Impact:The greatest benefit of the combined training programme is that it allows to strengthen the current skills of PWDs through the theoretical material, e-learning, practical training and e-platform in order to become proficient in providing consultancy services for other PWDs in a similar situation. The project has a positive impact on the employees of partner organisations and the participants of pilot testing in terms of gaining new knowledge and developing their professional, methodological and social competences. The project activities at the national level have also been beneficial from the viewpoint of creating partner networks between experts and organisations representing different sectors. The Innovative Training Program has been incorporated in the educational portfolio of each partner organisation and, made available to other interested users. The project activities expanded the spectrum of opportunities and forms of lifelong learning for people with disabilities and, therefore they can significantly contribute to their reintegration to the labour market.Long-term benefits:motivation of people with special needs to engage in lifelong learning (LLL);exploiting the potential of experts by experience in non-profit organisations;free access to project products and their use in everyday practice by other organisations;motivation of organisations working with the disadvantaged to engage in LLL process.

Many of them are lacking the skills, job search skills, work experience and abilities to set up their own business. Disadvantaged women clearly need to be given the chance to acquire competenties to enter the labour market. To address this issue, this project focused on unemployment and training problems of disadvantaged women. The project aimed assisting disadvantaged women to find a suitable job by developing their job search skills, socializing skills and by encouraging them setting up their own business through developing appropriate innovative vocational training modules, counseling services and other instruments. Disadvantaged women have been encouraged to set up their own business by increasing their entrepreneurial potential and by redirecting them to get microcredits. The objectives were:- To increase the number of disadvantaged women in suitable employment by providing vocational education modules for them;- Reviewing current applications in partner countries about vocational education of disadvantaged women; - To develop an analysis regarding specific vocational training needs of disadvantaged women;- To develop appropriate job search skills and business building skills of disadvantaged women through vocational education modules, counseling services in career guidance and workshops;- To increase socializing skills and community participation of disadvantaged women through training modules and workshops;- Providing of the innovative modules and services to disadvantaged women in Turkey, Austria, France and Slovenia.- To disseminate good practices and methodologies on lifelong learning regarding social integration and career guidance of disadvantaged women. These aims were addressed to developing the quality and attractiveness of vocational education and training systems through increased cooperation with project partners and all relevant target groups. EDWOD project used new methods, models, approaches and it’s an original project rather than a transfer project. The project’s partnership developed an analyze regarding specific vocational training needs of disadvantaged women, through a need analyis survey with 50 persons (disadvantaged women, employers, experts about vocational education and training) in Turkey and 10 persons in partner countries. According to this need analysis innovative products and instruments (e.g. vocational training modules, workshops, seminars, website, books about the project) were developed for the main target group, which are disadvantaged women. These products and instruments were used by experts in the field of vocational education, finacial experts, employers, private sector players in vocational education institutions, universities, NGO's working with disadvantaged women, disabled people's organizations. All project materials were in English and Turkish, thus a wide range of people benefited from the developed materials. Also, project materials and developed strategies will be on display in project web site and e-learning system, each person who need information can reach the products. The developed modules and instruments were provided to more than 100 disadvantaged women in Turkey and to more than 20 disadvantaged women in all partner countries, in the established local Training Clubs, which represent the local training and services situated in the participating organisation or in the target community. Each Training Club was coordinated by a local person who knows how to work with local people and who has extensive expertise about providing training and counseling to disadvantaged women. For providing sustainability for the project we benefited from the creeted dissemination tools that will display project results and products. We provided that disadvantaged women and all other target groups are be active user of the project website which have been designed as they will be available for 4 years. In addition to furthering regional cooperation, the project builds on best European practice. The project focuses on networking and exchanging of ideas among organizations across Europe regarding various employment problems of disadvantaged women. Therefore the exchange of experiences and best practices among project partners added value to the project by creating viable opportunities for supporting the integration of disadvantaged women into the labour market, addressing regional disparities, increasing the possibilities of lifelong learning.

EMIEW is an initiative to meet the work and social insurance needs of less educated or non-employed women of low status and prestige. Therefore, the main target group chosen for our project is either unemployed women or working women workers. EMIEW is designed to improve the opportunities of disadvantaged women.Five intellectual outputs were presented within the scope of EMIEW. The first one is a need analysis shaped by the partners at the beginning of the project and applied to 218 people in four partner countries to develop the output of the training modules. The needs analysis was designed to ensure that the training modules are of high quality, and 22 training modules were prepared in 5 main categories from the need analysis results. The booklet of training modules was written in English, Turkish, German, Portuguese, Slovak (860 pp.) to increase women's skills in starting a business, finding a job, holding a job, personality development, and socialization. The online learning platform, which is another output supporting the training modules, was created under five main headings: Information and Communication Technologies (3 Modules), Career Development (5 M), Social Skills Development (6 M), Entrepreneurial Skills (3 M), and Professional Skills (5 M). Supporting the modules under each main heading, video footage, PowerPoint presentations, pdf texts, forum page, tasks, tests were created. If 70% success was achieved in the process, participants were given the opportunity to receive online certificates. Participants were allowed to receive 5 different certificates in 5 main categories in 5 languages. With the idea of supporting the online learning platform, the entire project website was designed in five languages to reach more disadvantaged women and to increase the dissemination of the project.Another important output created to increase the impact and dissemination of training modules is “Adult Education Courses.” The training was held in 4 partner countries with 59 participants. The training curriculum was completely prepared based on the training needs of the participants and 3 teaching methods (interactive presentations, brainstorming and video training) were used. At the end of the training, all participants were given a certificate and a 72-page booklet (En-Tr) was created with the data obtained.Test and Analysis report was produced as another output to evaluate the online training platform, the training modules it contains and other outputs. By using a questionnaire, participants (756 participants) were asked about orientation to work, evaluation of modules, evaluation of online learning platform and other outputs. The analysis results of these questionnaires, which were asked under 3 different titles, were reported in detail, and a Test and Analysis Report (71 pp. in En-Tr)booklet was prepared. The final intellectual output handbook provides an introduction to employment types and social security issues in the four partner countries. The technical handbook supporting the working life, rights and responsibilities of employees and the benefits of the social insurance system was written as 125 pages in English and Turkish (in 5 languages on the website).Various communication platforms such as Slack, Skype, mail group, Twitter, Google drive were used in the project process for effective communication and cooperation. Again, during the project process, efforts were made to increase the project's quality by conducting project internal evaluation analyses every three months. Five transnational meetings (initial and final meeting in Turkey; once in Germany, Portugal, and Slovakia) were planned to talk about measures to improve international issues of working women, the inconvenient conditions, and to shape the course of the project. Slovakia meeting and final meeting were held online due to the COVID-19. Multiplier effect meetings were held with broad participation to promote and develop the project in Turkey, Slovakia and Portugal. A copyright-free international book related to the project was written, and the project was promoted in local, national, and international media. As a result of the project implementation, women learned about the benefits of their rights and appropriate employment conditions. Awareness has been raised to ensure that unemployed women or women with low-quality job skills gain skills in some jobs such as house cleaning and childcare. Also, that awareness helped women to prevent from working without insurance. Women learned to start their own business, be the employer of their own business, and insured women employment was encouraged. You can access information such as general promotional videos, brochures, detailed information about partners, social networks and links on our website named https://emiew.duzce.edu.tr/.
