These categories of population are also overexposed to structural inequalities in terms of access to symbolic and material resources (discrimination in hiring, housing, school relegation, facies offenses, etc.). Particularly in connection with these identity difficulties, the question of the radicality of a small minority of these people came to light during the terrorist events of 2015 and 2016. The Member States quickly realized the urgency to cooperate, to coordinate and exchange experiences so that the best ideas and practices can be shared across the EU (Paris Declaration, 12 February 2015).In this context, universities have an important role to play. This is the aim of this project, which is cross-cutting in the departments of sociology and political science. Indeed, the training given to students in our institutions on issues of identity, of the relationship to the country of origin, and in particular of the place of Islam in the contemporary world, became very important in order to have a better mutual understanding of migration trajectories. It is important to update their content on an ongoing basis, based on expertise on the subjects concerned. Indeed, a better knowledge of the motivations and aspirations of these populations would enable decision makers to be equipped so that the public policies are in adequacy with the reality on the ground and the challenges of our democratic societies. It involves, among other things, grasping the logic of collective belonging, the forms of attachment, the values and the ethico-religious contours of these ethno-cultural groups. The consortium of this project intends to meet these needs. In order to target our topic, we must first of all note that the populations of Moroccan and Turkish origin constitute the immigrant population groups - outside the EU - among the most important in Belgium, France and Italy. After more than 50 years of presence of these populations on our territories, the understanding of these European citizens remains embryonic and feeds questions on the integration or the adhesion to the base of values of the European Union. So we decided to focus our work on these two ethno-religious groups. The objectives of the project are multiple:- To develop the knowledge of the types of anchoring in Europe and of the relation with the country of origin in the head of the Turkish and Moroccan diasporic communities- To develop knowledge of the religious component in the collective identity and ethical orientation of these populations- Develop a common methodology for gathering information in the field, including the participation of countries of origin (Turkey and Morocco)- Adapt curriculum contents in relevant training streams- Train our students in these topics in the light of updated information- Give the opportunity to our students to cross their knowledge and their eyes during an intensive program- Enable decision-makers to put in place prevention policies- Exchange practices between countries, the approach being conducted mainly in the field and in collaboration with its stakeholdersThe target groups of this project are primarily the teachers and students of the institutions involved in the project. But on the one hand, the civil society and on the other hand, the political decision-makers are also the target of our approach: the collective work that will be published within the framework of this project as well as the MOOC being important sources to enlighten the public action and debates in the city.

European culture reveals that almost every country has a traditional musical instrument that reflects its own culture. However, it is observed that young people do not know the history, structure and characteristics of traditional musical instruments and also do not use them widely. For this reason, we have been attentive to select experienced and enthusiastic partners from European countries in order to introduce traditional musical instruments to young people, to describe their culture by means of musical instruments and to provide young people with new basic skills or to develop a meaningful leisure activity. From this point of view, the main objectives of the Project are to revive the interest in traditional musical instruments, to ensure the use of these instruments as means of cultural transmission, and also to derive social benefit by providing young people with new basic skills and so increasing employment opportunities. On the other hand, the priorities of this project in terms of cultural heritage can be specified as follows: *Introducing traditional musical instruments of partners to young people, and getting them informed about different cultures, *Ensuring the use of these musical instruments as means of cultural transmission, *Contributing to the conserving process of the World Cultural Heritage, *Increasing toleration towards cultural differences and contributing to the socio-cultural development, *Generating sustainable intercultural cooperation. In this context, Ebru (Turkish Art of Marbling) and Ney making (within the Mevlevi Sema Ceremony), which are the two traditional Turkish arts included in the UNESCO RepresentativeList of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity , are combined with an innovative approach by performing Ebru on Ney for the first time, and the patent application of this new performance has been accepted. It is aimed by the Project to teach this practice to young people. In this way, a significant contribution will be made to the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Furthermore, it is planned to turn this new practice into a Digital Training Module. Thereby, while contributing to the representation, conserving and sustaining of intangible cultural heritage, this innovative practice will also be used as a means of creating a new profession, increasing employment opportunities and providing a new source of income for the national economies. The Project will also contribute to sustainable intercultural communication and cooperation and to the process of expanding awareness of young people on cultural heritage. Within the scope of the Project, the project coordinator institution Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa and the local partner Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University from the coordinator country Turkey will demonstrate the making of Turkish traditional musical instrument “Ney” to 7 young people in the 18-30 age group from each partner country through a 7-dayworkshop, and also train them for developing a new product by performing Ebru on Ney. The total number of participants will be 42 young people. Similarly, partner countries Italy, Romania, Lithuania and Portugal are expected to inform these young participants by introducing their own traditional musical instruments. From this point of view, Italy's traditional musical instrument “Tamburello”, Romania's traditional musical instrument “Nai”, Lithuania's traditional musical instrument “Kankles”, and Portugal's traditional musical instrument “Cavaquinho” have been designated within the scope of the Project. All of these promotional activities are planned to take place on the Project website. Besides, each partner country will turn the introductory information about their traditional musical instruments into a guide. Afterwards, the introductory guides prepared by partner countries will be merged into one by the coordinator country Turkey under the title of Traditional Musical Instruments Digital Training Book. Consequently, the expected results during the Project and on its completion are as follows:• Generating sustainable intercultural cooperation and communication,• Increasing toleration towards cultural differences,• Creating awareness on cultural heritage, developing a protective tendency towards cultural heritage among young people and passing this tendency down to next generations,• Ensuring the participation of young people in intercultural communication by means of traditional musical instruments,• Creating a new profession and increasing employment opportunities,• Contributing to the socialization of disadvantageous participants,• Turning the practice of performing Ebru on Ney into a digital training module, and so, generating sustainability."

There is clear evidence of a stable increase of the biomaterials market for the next fifteen years. European Biomaterials Market represents a market of 7 € billion and the global Biomaterials market is five times the European market. Biomaterials sector has not yet been in a good position among the high-value chains in Turkey. Turkey imports biomedical devices, instruments and materials, especially Advanced Therapy and Medicinal Products (ATMPs) about 85%. In Turkey, few R&D activities and limited coordination of academy-industry are the main barriers to develop competitive biomaterial products and high value research in biomaterials field in Turkey. Necmettin Erbakan University (NEU) is a young University in Konya-Turkey with well-equipped Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Institute of Science and the dedicated research center, Science and Technology Research and Application Centre, brings together the scientists researching on medicine, material, energy, biomaterial sciences and focusing on creative answers to today's scientific challenges. NEU has weakness on developing functional biofibers for medicinal applications, specifically to be applied in wound healing and tissue regeneration. The proposal REGENEU aims to meet the requirements of the HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03-01: Twinning Call. The main focus of this project is to increase the scientific capabilities and excellence of NEU in the field of biofiber research and development for translational application. This target is supported by European partners Fraunhofer (Germany), UKW (Germany), TCD (Ireland) and RCSI (Ireland). NEU needs to transfer knowledge about its weak side, on the development and production of innovative and GMP conform functionalized biofibers for wound healing.

From past to present, lots of developments have been occured, and this science has become an inseperable part of our daily lives. Mathematics, having this importance troughout history, is infamous for the concern and fear to which is felt by students in not only Turkey, but worldwide. Mathematics is considered to be a hard area for not only students to learn, but also instructorsto teach. (Öcalan, 2004)The purpose of this paper was to analyze the results of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), which is an internationally standardized assessment that was jointly developed by participating economies and administered to 15-year-olds in schools. PISA, which is administered by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), aims to find answers to the questions such as “whether students are well prepared for future challenges, whether they can analyze, reason and communicate effectively, and whether they have the capacity to continue learning throughout life”. In this paper, the performances of Turkish youngsters who took PISA exams were investigated. According to the results of this investigation, Turkish educational system was evaluated. The limited developments which are thanks to the positive individual participation of the partners can be observerd by checking the PISA results according to years. According to the academic research, the highly successful countries about mathematics are providing: firstly teacher raising programs (Simola, 2015), making the use of technology and information effective and studies of extensification of them and by means of regulations to make students feel at home, providing equal education opportunities. (Kivirauma & Ruoho, 2007) So as to give the countries the chance of making the necessary regulations of their educational programs, making up the deficiences, and seeing their success internationally; our project is to be conducted. Main purpose of the project is about success of students in mathematics. In our project, we have 3 national and 4 transnational partners. The national partners are Hacettepe University Informatics Institution, Necmettin Erbakan University Mathematics Department and FEDA Education-Informatics Corporation. The transnational partners are IDEA Education from Czech Republic, BragaMOB from Portugal, Pangeaeducation from Poland and Istituto Comprensivo Castel Frentano from Italy. In our project, there will be 5 TMs and 5 LTT activities. All the activities implemented in the project will be predicated on cooperative study method. The methods and the activities they will be implemented within the context of project can be listed like learning by practising and experience, case method, role-playing, brainstorming, snowball method…etc. The main purpose of the project is, by means of alternative approaches, to improve the partners' current mathematics education. Another effect that is to be reached with dissemination events is, in accordance with the aim of the project, creating regional awareness.By means of creating a web site, educational softwares with different learning enviroments and interesting learning activities and enviroments with game-basis in it; an open access output will be provided for all of the participants and those concerned. Moreover, with the activity handbook for teachers, instructors will have alternative mathematics book to implement in class. This book will consist of six chapters, and will be prepared by an academic editorial. This book will be an efficient educational source due to having gathered educational experiences of the participants, as well.
