It was realised by transfer and extended development of training curricula for orientation and mobility instructors (on how to teach this skill to visually impaired people), compendium of knowledge and resources related to that field and set of recommendations supporting its incorporation in existing programmes. The area of human echolocation use is still not widely implemented in the world in rehabilitation of people with vision problems but its tremendous advantage is proved by many research and practice. It is growing field especially in United States of America but still very little recognised and particularly little applied in Europe. Due to activities foreseen in our project, the significant advancement in echolocation training for visually impaired people has been achieved. Hereby project also has contributed to further development of blind people confidence which is main factor for their motivation, activeness and empowerment in all areas of life. The adequate rehabilitation or habilitation training for people is a condition for their mobility, independence and in consequence their capability to more reasonable and ambitious educational choices, employment and civil activity. Our project has resulted with three main outputs: 1. Curricula of Echolocation training for specialists teaching visually impaired people; 2. Compendium with selection of articles, elaborated texts and resource materials 3. Recommendations – presenting detailed and practical possibilities to incorporate in the most effective way the new type of training in the standard orientation and mobility training experienced so far. The direct results of our project included not only tangible innovative outputs but also: - A group of 12 orientation and mobility instructors for visually impaired people (4 from Lithuania and 8 from Poland) that have completed intensive echolocation training, - Group of partners representatives who gained advanced expertise and experiences in echolocation for blind people, - The group of minimum 24 visually impaired adults who benefited from testing training and actively participated in evaluation process, - Significant group of orientation and mobility instructors and representatives of visually impaired population in partner countries (at least 255 in total) who have increased their competences but also awareness in the field and can serve in future as good examples and promotors, - The basis to continue expansion of echolocation competence as one of very important and very powerful skill for visually impaired people. The international partnership consisting of 4 partners included: Institute for Regional Development Foundation – FIRR (Poland), applicant, Instituttet for Blinde og Svagsynede – IBOS (Denmark), Kommunikationscentret, Region Hovedstaden – KC-RH (Denmark) and Kauno Prano Daunio ugdymo centras (Lithuania). The expertize of Danish partners was transferred and together with contribution of partners experiences, combined with intensive research, exchange and sharing of know-how, practice , ideas, wide evaluation through testing training and its important practical part, as well as innovative input coming, among others, from foreseen experts and stakeholders wide consultation. International context also brought about the availability of few language versions of materials in the project (partner countries languages and English as working language) what was facilitating not only their application in partner countries but also facilitate wide dissemination process of our achievements. Our project results are not only to influence extremely the area of adult education for people with visual impairments and their educators qualifications but also have a potential to be transferred to other sectors as for example higher education of those professionals (who were consulted on various stages of our project), as well as other target groups who might benefit a lot from implementation of new training in their regular work.

It is based on courses available at JKU and incorporate other high quality materials that have open licences. The elaborated course, updated and adapted to national systems had been tested at Polish and Bulgarian higher universities (Vistula University and Varna Free University). • A guide for academic on methods and techniques in teaching with use of elaborated course and other available materials in area of accessibility, including possibilities offered by elaborated modules of the syllabus adapted to the needs of various audiences, not only HeIs students but also for other educational sectors. • A code of good practices in conducting syllabuses and promoting accessibility content to various groups of stakeholders, mainstreaming Accessibility subject in the higher education institutions and other good examples. • A set of recommendations elaborated by partners in cooperation with external bodies consultancy on the suggested professional fields that should have accessibility subject included in their educational curricula, strategic plan followed in order to advance its presence in the core curricula of university faculties and actions that needs to be undertaken to achieve real results in that area. Web accessibility means that the service can be perceived, understood, navigated and interacted by all users, regardless of their disabilities or devices and software used. It refers especially to people with disabilities (particularly blind). At the core of the project there are strong convictions that: - The accessibility, especially web content and electronic information accessibility, is one of the key issues in EU strategy as well as in its legislation and is going to be further advanced, - the national regulations recognise that issue in many countries and introduce legally binding requirements based usually on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 (WCAG 2.0 - http://www.w3.org/TR/WCAG20/)standards. - competences in the area of web accessibility and universal design of internet services are very low and seldom and at the same time more and more demanded, - higher education institutions are the best bodies to introduce the course on digital accessibility into their ICT studies as part of their formal scope, - new and innovative curriculum will increase attractiveness and work-reference of available ICT courses. This project will be based on the following steps in order to achieve its final outputs: 1. Blended course curricula developed in following phases: a. Transfer from Austrian partner, exchange of expertise currently used in partner countries and internationally, detailed analysis and final selection of methodologies optimal for target groups, b. Detailed elaboration of the methodology of the accessibility education on the basis of a previously made analysis, c. Development of the draft version of the blended course (traditional ""class room"" and e-learning modules), d. Testing phase and recommendations for the final version of the curricula, e. Adjustment of the course content to the final version of the course. The blended learning scheme was chosen as the most convenient and effective method of training for the target group used to that technique of knowledge acquisition. The course had been created in a way that enables teachers and professors to use it as an academic course and a part of the tertiary education curriculum for ICT students. The learning course content include all basic issues that, according to our everyday practice and the opinion of experts and representatives of the professionals, are necessary to provide effective higher educational offer. It guarantees to equip the professionals in web development with competence and skills which will allow them to meet current employers’ requirements (especially in the public sector). 2. Guide for teachers elaboration with cooperation with experts from all partners organisations and other stakeholders identified. 3. Code of good practice development by analysis and collection of good examples 4. Intensive work on recommendations by inclusion of gathered expertize and reaching to influencing bodies on national and European level. 5. Dissemination and exploitation activities aiming to promote elaborated outputs and facilitation of their further advancement. All materials and products elaborated within the project are available on open licences. Apart from national versions, a common English version will allow future easy transfer of all products to other countries."

All the organization function in touristic areas where natural environment has been endanger by touristic activities. One of the reason for this is lack of proper education about sustainable development among adult learners who are no longer under influence of formal education. Those adults are making choices about their traveling plans as well as including their families, therefore they are providing touristic cohort in their regions. There is a need to approach adult lifelong learning institutions and encourage them to implement non-formal education for sustainable development in tourism in their scope of work. The partner organizations are: enterprises with focus on eco-tourism, healthy lifestyle education and sustainable green energy sectors foundations, human resources and project network development companies, public adult education centres and universities. The objectives of the project were as following:- raise awareness of public regarding eco-tourism and influence their travel choices and behaviours,- transfer information on the impact of tourism on the environment,- provide knowledge about regional diversity and significance of volunteer activities to preserve it,- provide participants with the knowledge on tourist ethics according to World Tourism Organisation,- exchange of experience and showing best practices on personal engagement in development of local communities,- with the usage of regional resources of participants to create a work on volunteering in eco-tourism (group work),- motivate participants to become conscious and active citizens, 32 participants, adult learners, teachers, tutors, trainers from partners' countries had an opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge, and work together during blended-learning activities on case studies and provide other participants with their experience. Based on that knowledge learners planned their own ideas on voluntary involvement in preserving their regional heritage. The workshop was designed for adults from countries participating in the LLP program, who are interested in volunteering work, eco-tourism and sustainable development of their regions. The workshop was opened to everybody, regardless in relation to the attained education, or social disadvantages. Workshop’s working language was English, however some translation was also provided in Polish and Turkish. The main activities during the project duration were:- development of training toolkit for teachers on involvement of ESD to their education,- workshops for learners about eco-tourism, eco-touristic activities, volunteering, organization and management of touristic activities in the region, creating eco-path,- development of ideas of eco-path and presenting them to local governments for implementations. In terms of the pedagogical approach trainers used individual impact method as correcting and enriching knowledge, discussion, and also group interaction. These methods were applied to motivate them to active work in the interest of their local communities and thanks to that also of the entire world. In terms of the didactic approach there were used form of lectures, team work, problem solving, individual work, discussion, case study, expositions on the workshop’ subjects, and educational trip to the eco-tourist places. The main tangible results are: eco-path prepared by learners, events, selection of case studies, documentation of study visits. The impact and longer term benefits:- all project participants strengthen their capacity on building in eco-tourism as well as deepened their knowledge on sustainable tourism.- the project coordinator and the project partners are experienced in running strategic partnership projects and they are inspired to make further links and design similar new projects.

This project objective was to influence adult European citizens and encourage them to take action in favor of a more tolerant Europe, respectful of human rights and obligations, which entails a refugee population exceeding our borders.Specific objectives were: to improve and enrich teaching tools in adult education for trainers and staff working with adults, to promote voluntary activities for the benefit of migrants, to foster active citizenship and communication by initiating intercultural activities. The results of this project generated and disseminated positive messages, aimed at achieving compatible coexistence respectful of one another European citizens and the ""newcomers"" (refugees, migrants, repatriated persons). This project addressed adult training institutions, trainers and workers in those institutions and adult learners from our regions. In order to change mind-set and attitudes of European citizens we need to start the intercultural education from adults as they are the ones that create and influence mind-set and attitudes of their children. Development of tolerant and open society depends on example given and passed from adults to children. To reach the project objectives partners' institutions searched for innovative teaching methods that were tested in this specific context. Those methods were gathered in the training Pack available on-line, ready to implement and use by adult training centres across Europe. The results acquired during project duration include: - methodological guide for teachers containing set of 6 innovative methods with 3 implementation courses each, - pilot training sessions, - marketing and dissemination materials, knowledge and experience gained by the participants: staff and trainers / facilitators / educators were active participants of the project from the very beginning. They exchanged experience and shared their knowledge on the new methods. They worked together to prepare the methodological tool and they also conducted pilot training sessions in their institutions. Learners were part of pilot training sessions and shared their feedback on the new methods.- greater cultural awareness - first of all the training sessions were focused on intercultural and cultural differences. Secondly partners had a chance to visit their countries and institutions, to learn about local specific contexts, culture, mentality and so on. During transnational meetings there were intercultural events organised to enhance interaction and learning process about other cultures."
