NALBANDYAN STATE UNIVERSITY OF SHIRAK FOUNDATION,UNIVERSITE LYON 3 JEAN MOULIN,BANCA COMERCIALA MOLDINDCONBANK SA,USARB,Ministry of Education, Culture and Research,MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE, CULTURE AND SPORT OF THE REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA,EUCEN,Fondation Université Française en Arménie,UNION OF BANKS OF ARMENIA NGO,TCUM,IMC University of Applied Sciences KremsFunder: European Commission Project Code: 618801-EPP-1-2020-1-AM-EPPKA2-CBHE-SPFunder Contribution: 847,433 EURThe WBL4JOB project aims to enhance partnership between enterprises and HEIs and to increase graduates’ employability through development and implementation of supporting policy, legal framework and generic, flexible Apprenticeships Higher Education Model (AHEM) with the ultimate aim of promoting the work-based learning (WBL) in Armenia and Moldova.The following project outputs/outcomes are expected to be sustainable after the end of the Erasmus+ programme funding:- Apprenticeship Policy and Implementation Toolkit,- 52 trained staff on WBL/apprenticeship policies, schemes and tools, - 60 trained teaching staff/mentors on apprenticeship-oriented teaching/learning, - National Policy for implementation of WBL in HE systems, - 2 AHEMs, including an undergraduate one year apprenticeship based programme “Specialized Licence in Banking and Insurance” (SLBI), - Amendments to national legislations supporting apprenticeship, - 4 equipped universities,- Partnership agreements for activities after lifetime of the project. The expected impact is foreseen on:Institutional level: Implementation of new approaches of apprenticeship, teaching and administrative staff with increased and reinforced competences, relevance of improved education, strong links with enterprises for integrating created knowledge and experience-based learning, increased employability of graduates. National level: reinforced HEIs and company partnership, the establishment of new promoted apprenticeship and WBL schemes, skills matching and better employability of university graduates. Regional level: sparked Experience sharing, networking and promotion of mid and long-term cooperation between the involved partners. European level: Promoted Long-term cooperation between the involved partners leading to convergence in line with EU developments and standards towards fostering the integration of the HEIs from EaP region into the EHEA.

Enabling national HE bodies and HEIs to strategically manage integrated LLL in the provision of higher education are regarded to be the project’s overall objective and the main underpinning of the Moldovan’s accountable and complementary role in EHEA.The target groups: representatives of the Ministries of Higher Education; Bologna promoters at national level; senior managers of universities, directors of ULLL, ULLL operational staff. The project's main outcomes:1. Creating and implementing national legislative that has been lacking to date in Moldova: National LLL Roadmap; Regulation for validation of prior learning, including formal and informal (VPL); Regulation on application of the existing ECTS tools and procedures to LLL; etc.).2. Developing and implementing effective university strategies on integrated LLL along with coherent institutional measures capable of lifelong guidance and VPL, improving institutional capacities for increasing widening participation in LLL.The impact of this project on the national HE bodies and Bologna follow-up group (BFUG) in Moldova and Belarus will be enable them to review more effectively the progress on topics they have identified; to develop future strategies and to formulate targets for ULLL in the next phase of the HE reforms.At institutional level, universities will be more effective in judging and improving their own performance in the use of the Bologna tools (flexibility, ECTS, VPL). In addition, they will learn from case studies of best EU practices and details of institutions that have successfully innovated in this field and be better able to create new pilot actions on national, regional and European levels.
