The project envisages integration of international students into Ukrainian educational space by means of cultural, ethnic, social and academic assets. This will be ensured by development and implementation of the Roadmap that consists of multiaspect approach towards students` integration as it envisagesthat IS will be involved to the life of University, have more communication with local students, learn EU and UA culture, way of life, values for better understanding and faster adaptation. Upgrading of administrative staff qualifications will increase efficiency of work, knowledge about cultural differences, and dealing with other cultures, master methods of communication, learn how to prevent conflicts and deal with them, Academic staff will also acquire EU experience andl earn more about methods of instruction in dealing with interculturalism, methodological features on pecularities of international students training, together with EU experts they will work on curricula, offered for IS to adjust it to the need and expectations of IS. More comfortable conditions for IS will be created by modernizing University infrastructure, learning of English by different categories of administrtive staff. The efforts will be directed on Ukrainian students and staff who will undergo cultural seminars, will be involved in promocampaign on interculturalism and tolerance. Dissemination part of the project is extremely important and it will cover the needs and demands of IS and HEIs on the natioanl level. The Ukrainian HEIs will see the benefits of the activities that will be widely disseminated at the seminars, social media, mass media, and due to participation of Ukrainian State Center for International Education. The measures will be taken to keep the project results sustainable.

Armenia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan have shared a common historical background. Since their independence in the 90s, agriculture has undergone a period of transformation. The social, economic and political changes have had an impact on the entire higher education system.TOPAS aims at filling the gap within a common former soviet inherited agricultural sciences higher education system in these countries and practical training in real working environment to provide a better match between job market needs and the qualifications offered. The vocationally oriented practical programs should be introduced and improved based on learning outcomes and competencies approach with flexible learning pathways and permeability among the different agrarian management programs. Within the program partnership between universities and stakeholders (farm industry and associations) will be fostered.A wide-range of activities will facilitate the transition from teacher centered knowledge-based form of education to student-centered practice based education in Agrarian studies and hence employability by enhancing the cooperation between universities and agriculture enterprises through adequate internship schemes with government support to recognize formal and informal learning and endorse ECQIP.Another innovative aspect of the project is the creation of a databank for applied sciences on the field of agriculture management for teaching purposes in the field of data collection of students, teachers and researchers. This databank will consist of data on production inputs, costs and outputs of major cash crops of these countries and will offer valid data for agricultural management study courses.The experience of the last decade showed, that missing practical orientation and knowledge of BA and MA students is one of the most important obstacles for professional qualification. While curricula development was well adapted in many fields, the cooperation with farms and industry has to be built up

The overall goal of this project is to decrease the negative impact of aquaculture and fishery industry on the environment in Armenia and Ukraine through the designing and development of Master’s degree programs in aquaculture and fisheries, that is benchmarked to high-quality similar programs in Europe and responsive to national and regional needs, and strengthening the university-enterprise-research cooperation (concept “from education to ecology”). AFISHE project will create a network between Armenia, Ukraine and EU partner countries in the fields of aquaculture and fisheries. This network will serve as a platform for the implementation of joint educational and research activities with the purpose of promoting the best ecology-based approaches and activities in these fields in line with SDG goals and Green Deal. AFISHE project will strengthen university-enterprises cooperation resulting in the implementation of research-based and ecology-based operations and increasing operational effectiveness of aquaculture and fishery enterprises. The main activities of the project are the creation and development of Master’s degree study programs with all supporting materials, the establishment of laboratories, and the training of teaching and non-teaching staff of Armenia and Ukraine. The main results of the project are 3 new and updated Master’s degree programs in Armenia and Ukraine, teaching and learning materials, modernized infrastructure and well-trained teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as a network, established between HEIs and the labor market, who will contribute to education and retraining of needed specialists in Armenia and Ukraine. During the implementation of the project 44 teaching staff, 8 non-teaching staff, and each year about 25 Master’s students will benefit. Due to this project, a sustainable network will be created between Armenian, Ukrainian, EU universities and the labor market, which will act jointly on behalf of sustainable environment.

This project aims the elaboration of the policy of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on enhancing the third mission of Ukrainian Universities and fostering best practices of cooperation between HEIs and communities based on the application of the relevant experiences of EU states (Italy, Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic and Latvia). A set of activities is developed focusing on enhancing universities’ social role and boosting university-community engagement incorporating efficient models of interaction between the communities and universities developed to ensure social cohesion, resilience and sustainability.The project activities include the development of policy options on enhancing the third mission of universities in Ukraine based on actual research of approaches towards governance models of universities’ third missions; in-depth analysis of community and universities needs in Eastern, Northern, Southern, and Western Ukraine; capacity-building for Ukrainian HEIs staff through the development of professional exchange program focusing on such important aspects of the community-university cooperation as resilience, sustainability, inclusion, entrepreneurship and environment, public health, and social cohesion, development and piloting of concepts of university-community cooperation at Ukrainian partner HEIs and development a policy paper and roadmap on state policy on enhancing the cooperation between communities and universities.The main project results are: Guidelines for the Ministry of Education on University Third Mission; a research paper “Models of the Community-University Cooperation in Ukraine”, 3 workshops on research methodology, intra-consortium mobilities aiming to study and share the best practices in partner institutions, 3 roundtables and focus groups on the third mission of universities with MESU, Ministry of Regional Development of Ukraine, communities and other stakeholders; development and piloting of national models of uni

The project is foreseen for 36 months. Its activities are aimed to creation of specialized courses dedicated to laboratory practice for specialists of agro-food sector. Four specialized courses will be created at faculties: veterinary medicine, agronomy, animal husbandry and food technologies. One transversal course will be developed as well. The courses will be also developed for the post-diploma training.Project activities iclude: Consultations, round tables for definition of needed competences.; Elaboration of references for specialization “laboratory practice” in collaboration between HEIs and laboratories.; Elaboration of curricular and training plans: Elaboration of special courses for post-diploma courses; Students mobility among partner and programme institution. For this teachers teams will be created. Universities teachers and laboratory specialists will be members of these teams; their training will be done through six training sessions in EU and in partner countries; Pilot courses will be launched; At every faculty the group specialized on laboratory practice will be create -Creation of pedagogic support: guides, manuals, films, e-learning. The MOODLE platform for distance learning will be used for launching distances courses. The organizational innovation hub Lab TECH for coordination of innovative academic and post-diploma training will be created. The tools for collaborative teaching between universities and laboratories will be implemented.
