The challenge addressed by the project is COVID 19 emergency situation which, with all the restrictions of face-to-face meetings, affects the adult education, much more than other education sectors. It is obvious that adult educators will have to work in new environments. A lot of adult education will have to be implemented trough new distance channels from now on. Most of adult education participants in partner organizations, belong to one of the vulnerable target groups of adults. All of the vulnerable adults’ characteristics will (are) represent a big barrier in transition to distance learning. It is also important, that a lot of adult participants in our organization are involved in nonformal programmes. Their motivational factors for learning are totally different in comparation to youngsters, and harder to harmonize with characteristics of distance learning. Therefore, in adult education just passing classical learning to an e-classroom is not enough. We have to find and develop the most effective ways and choose the right distance learning strategies and methods for, not only each vulnerable target group of adults, but each participant. Because they are different in terms of motivation, needs, opportunities, capabilities, competences, …The direct project target group of the project are adult education providers, counsellors and teachers. Project basic aim is to develop, adapt and share good practice strategies and methods for distance learning of the indirect project target groups of adults: elderly, immigrants, adults with special needs, unemployed, dropouts and rural population. Strategies and method for distance learning of vulnerable adults will be developed and tested in the project. The specific characteristics and needs of each group, that affect learning will be taking in to consideration. We are of course not sure how exactly the COVID 19 pandemic will affect adult education in future, but we are sure that at least part of our educational work will be implemented trough distance tools. And, if ever, vulnerable adults’ needs knowledge and skills to act in the new situation brought by pandemic. We also anticipate that this pandemic situation will show that distance learning is possible and effective for vulnerable adults and will be using it in in future regardless health situation.

Globalization and mobility, economic diversity and the emergence of vulnerable social groups, migrants, asylum seekers and the Roma, require effective responses to many challenges.High unemployment rates, social exclusion, religious and national inequalities and differences, further marginalization of particular social strata remain major social and economic problems in almost all countries irrespective of their current development and status. The main objective of the Project was to contribute to the enhancing of synergies between education and the labour market by designing innovativeprogrammes in the field of adult education with the aim of strengthening partner organizations. The objective has been achieved through the development of an innovative curriculum for the new occupation, accompanying pedagogical materials and training of 2 persons in each partner organization (except Osijek). The objective was also achieved by research and analysis as the third intellectual outcome, the purpose of which was to obtain relevant data on the position of the secondary target group in the eyes of employers in partner countries and on issues underlying their employment. The Project involved 6 partner organizations and the Open University Koprivnica as the coordinator.INFOR ELEA, Italy, a consortium of 250 legal entities engaged in the development and acquisition of entrepreneurial skills for employers, the unemployed and employees. Slovo 21, the Czech Republic, a non-profit and non-governmental organization with a wealth of experience in implementing education and cultural programmes for migrants and the Roma. The Vilnius Židinio Gymnasium for adults, Lithuania, has extensive experience in adult education and in applying new technologies in education. Spoleczna akademia Nauk, Poland, a private university with valuable experience in creating programmes for disadvantaged adults (migrants). MBM Training and Development Center, UK, an international non-profit organization that provides educational programmes for individual jobs and develops innovative UK programmes that affect community development. The Faculty of Educational Sciences from Osijek is engaged in the development of lifelong learning programmes and in encouraging the mobility of teaching staff. The main activities were related to 3 intellectual outcomes:1.Designing a curriculum for the profession: Expert for the coordination of education and employment - each of the partners has been the carrier of a specific module according to their profile of activities, while other partners have been actively involved in providing constructive advice and supplementing the subject matter, accordingly.2.Designing pedagogical materials that accompany each curriculum module. Each partner who worked on the module was responsible for the accompanying pedagogical materials, and all other partners actively participated in providing suggestions and supplementing the subject matter. At the same time, each partner contributed with extensive scientific and professional literature for supporting the contents of each module.3.Designing the third intellectual outcome-research and analysis. The main purpose of the research was to obtain data from surveyed legal entities and respondents on employment issues of target group members in general and in surveyed legal entities in partner countries. The analysis of the results showed, according to the specificities of partner countries, a relatively wide range of data that allows further use. The results from 287 completed questionnaires provide valuable data that can have impact on policies, as well as strategic and action planning in the field of education and labour market issues in the widest sense.Within the framework of educational activities, a presentation of each module was held for 2 persons from each partner organization who passed an online knowledge exam and received the certificate “Short term expert for the coordination of education and employment”.The Project's long-term benefit is in the strengthened staffing capacity of partner organizations through their education and taking exams based on the programme in order to be able to continue to work easier and access a secondary target group for the purpose of linking it to business entities in the capacity of employer. They will be able to detect the needs of the labour market more easily and in cooperation with the secondary target group and employer find a solution through the development of new curricula tailored to the specific needs of the employer. The Project's impact is visible in new contacts at local, regional, national and international level. Brochures were published O1, O2, O3 in all the languages of partner countries and the intellectual outcomes were uploaded on the Project's website and on the dissemination platform. The outcomes are the basis for further expansion of the consortium with the aim of upgrading the existing outcomes and creating new projects.

The challenge addressed by the project is a fast ageing. Due to rising life expectancy, the proportion of older people in Europe is increasingly rapidly. Active ageing and solidarity between generations are key to the creation of a Europe for all ages. The transmission of older people's knowledge and skills to the younger generations should be encouraged and their skills should be utilised after retirement, for example through voluntary work.Multigenerational learning as an answer to above challenges, represents one of the most important means of overcoming gaps between generations. Proposed project aims to increase the quantity and above all enhance the quality of multigenerational cooperation between the oldest and the youngest generation – seniors and preschool children.Project is designed on the basis of ongoing Erasmus+ Strategic partnership, through which, partners recognized the great added value of multigenerational learning if it is well planned, and conducted by relevantly trained senior mentors, adult education and preschool staff.Project main target group are senior mentors. Project aims to provide seniors with opportunities for active ageing by training them for multigenerational programs mentoring. The overall project objective is to develop and pilot five well planned multigenerational activities programs, which will become a part of regular activities of all project partner organizations. Adult education providers, preschool teachers and senior mentors will in a project, trough learning from each other, sharing ideas, practices and methods gain all the knowledge and skills needed for implementation of good quality multigenerational activities.Connecting not only two different sectors of education - preschool and adult education but also partners from five different countries will bring innovative solutions for facing the common challenges in the field of multigenerational learning. Transnational dimension of working in the project will allow participants to get in touch with completely new visions and ideas – combining them will lead to solutions that could never happened in just one national environment.

"With the project ""Chain experiment in preschool"", we addressed two challenges, namely the poorly developed basic skills of young people and the lack of intergenerational cooperation. The aim of the project was therefore to provide opportunities for the early start of the development of basic technological and scientific skills through intergenerational cooperation among preschool children.Working with preschool children in the project required special pedagogical knowledge and work methods for building chain links that are adapted to the abilities of preschool children, and the implementation of intergenerational activities must take into account the characteristics and abilities of the elderly. Therefore, in the project, we trained adult education providers, senior mentors to work with children, and preschool teachers to work with the elderly. Preschool children, under the guidance of senior mentors, built a chain experiment in the project.Chain Experiment consist of mechanical contraptions that are put into the motion in a sequence- resembling well- known toppling rows of dominoes, using the metal sphere as a linking element. The previous article triggers the operation of the next according to the principle of dominoes. The chain consists of independent links, in which many interesting phenomena and physical laws are embedded. As a connecting element between the individual links is a metal ball. The manual Chain Experiment in preschool developed in the project and published in English, Croatian, Italian, Slovenian and Polish, together with numerous dissemination activities, provided good potential for carrying out activities in the wider area."
