Despite the key role that VET can play in economic transition, in Albania it remains quite small. V2V-AL project will develop customized and effective internationalization strategies and modernize the offer of vocational institutions through a capacity building process focused on twinning between Albanian and Programme VET providers. The core of the project, capacity building, will be achieved through a critical number of activities - courses catalogues, job shadowing, staff training, coaching, communities of practices, toolkits – focused on key areas such as internationalization, project design and management, dual system/work-based-learning (WBL), guidance. These activities will spill over throughout VET providers’ managerial, organizational, and didactic performance, benefitting staff, students, and stakeholders. Internationalization and mobility are clear drivers for VET attractiveness and performance; therefore, V2V-AL project will pilot short-term and long-term mobility for students and graduates. V2V-AL will also consolidate achievements through companies’ involvement, networking at different levels, advisory boards and workshop with stakeholders and policy makers, policy recommendations and international conferences. Overall, V2V-AL project will promote and improve VET internationalization, dual system/WBL, skills development and employability, and contribute to more secured current and future jobs.It will reach directly 129 staff and students, indirectly at least 800 staff members, 11.000 students and 8.000 graduates. Key project outputs – course catalogue, mobility process guidelines, toolbox, communities of practices, policy recommendations – will be freely accessible to potential users in the project platform.

The curriculum will be available in EN, BG, EL, ES, IT and NL and supported by an international IoT network Hub.The Digital Transformation in Advanced Manufacturing – DTAM project aims to create and provide innovative curricular training (reskilling and upskilling opportunities) in digital transformation competence for the advanced manufacturing sector (AM), for mid-high level IT and OT technicians at EQF Levels 4-5 +. Materials delivered will allow technicians to understand, install, configure, monitor, analyse, transfer data and maintain digital systems in advanced manufacturing environments. The complete DTAM curriculum will offer learners in IVET and CVET open access to all training modules as OERs via the project e-learning platform and to innovative supporting digital technology in the form of an international network of IoT labs. The partnership will encourage the growth of digital transformation, and talent and technology 4.0 profiles in H/VET centres by providing and launching a(n):• Model for the Creation and Exploitation of a Sustainable IoT lab: the model created will address the essential issue of financing and sustainability of IoT laboratories through collaboration with local / regional industry and SMEs• International Network of DTAM IoT labs which H/VET centres developing IoT labs can join, supporting a growing pool of labs which learners can access remotely via the project IoT HubThe DTAM curriculum aims to be a reference curriculum for Quality training and certification in digital transformation competence for Smart Industry. The partnership aims to have the DTAM Modules validated and included in regional and national VET training courses in the mid-term.

The curriculum will be tested through 4 national pilots in Greece, Bulgaria, Spain and Italy with at least 160 trainees. The certification of the skills and competences will follow a two-fold approach: (a) using micro-credentials to recognize the knowledge and skills gained through the successful completion of each online training module at the MOOC and Virtual Worlds and (b) designing the “Smart Cities Specialization Certification” that will be awarded to those passing online certifications exams with e-proctoring after the completion of the training modules. The project will create an ecosystem for the co-design and co-development of an innovative curriculum and technology-enhanced learning tools for the upskilling/reskilling of Smart Cities technicians and engineers.

It is only to be understood."" Much is possible in our century. ICT is bound to revolutionize the healthcare landscape for the better. A digital & technological revolution takes place and the medical world can profit. The EU has a growing shortage of Care workers due to an ageing population. The challenge is to find, educate and train those in and outside vocational education, who do not have sufficient skills for these challenging developments yet. What is and can be developed in IT to (en)lighten the healthcare worker? The gap between health industry (demand) and education (availability) and IT (solutions) is large. What does the care sector need? How can digital systems reduce the workload? How can we train more people in a continious cycle? This application looks at the opportunities and challenges in VET education within the care and IT domain in our regions. Changing and adapting existing systems takes time, effort and trust. By joining our forces, combining our knowledge and experiences, we ensure initial and continuous education in the care sector is future proof. Through (re)educating and applying new IT possibilities together in healthcare, the pressure on healthcare decreases, studying and working in health care will become more attractive and clients will be happier. This CoVE combines regional excellence with international cooperation and industry, IT innovation with sharing knowledge in VET. We exchange students, staff and experts. We build innovative educational programmes, valorised through microcredentials and we share knowledge through an European platform of Vocational Excellence in HealthTech. Through work-based learning, online lessons, working with industry and policymakers, we ensure the education we deliver together is up-to-date, and accessible for all. So, a new generation of European health care students/ workers will be trained and educated to face this challenge."
