In the last 44 years, live populations have decreased by 60 percent, and one million species are in danger of extinction. Due to the climate crisis, migrations are on the rise, with only 17 million people migrating around the world in 2018. In 2050, 200 million people are expected to emigrate. By 2100, the sea water level can rise up to 2 meters. In this case, millions of people will have to migrate from where they live. Due to the climate crisis, 120 million people will become poorer in the next 11 years and millions of people will be deprived of basic human needs such as living, nutrition, housing and water. Most people know the environmental problems we are facing now, but how many of them take a step for these problems? In this project we aim to develop environmental consciousness not only in students (age 14-19) of all partner schools that will be represented by at least 20 young people with different social, economical and educational backgrounds per each school, but also in their communities. Apart from obvious project objectives, like increasing the knowledge of how to use ICT tools to communicate with fellow students from other parts of Europe and increasing pupils’ motivation for learning foreign languages, we would also like to help young people to explore the possibilities to act towards sustainable living culture. Our aim is not to act upon fear and distress, so often accompanying the topic, but to build new ecological perspectives based on joy, positive approach to climate change and effective, applicable solutions in every household, school and community. During the project period, we all will develop emotional and rational bondages with the topic through transforming all our experiences into creative results like writing pieces (lyrics, poems etc.), presentations, videos, discussions, games, cleaning activities, experiments, planting a tree, thinking about various, applicable solutions ready for every household, designing an eco-friendly school, visiting inspiring places that are already involved in solving/promoting ecological values etc. As climate changes have an impact on all of us, we would like to start looking for solutions, to increase intrinsic motivation for improvement and to start giving a good example to others by means of collaboration in group work by establishing a cherishing attitude of taking care of the environment together. As ""we have a responsibility to leave for future generations a planet that is healthy and habitable by all species."" (Sir D. Attenborough). Our partners will form an international team working on numerous activities focused on general ideas of a climate change. The main objective of the project is to let students develop a positive, optimistic and clear understanding of some of the most important environmental topics and issues listed as: A) Climate Changes or ""There is no Planet B"" (NL)B) Recycling or ""Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"" (A)C) Pollution or ""Go Blue, Think Green"" (IT)D) Protection of Plants and Species or ""To Bee or Not to Bee""(HR)E) Renewable energy or ""Clean Energy for a Bright Future"" (SP)F) Water Management or ""Put a Stop to Every Drop"" (TK)Climate change does not just threaten the Earth system, it could also undermine the Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals are 17 targets set by the United Nations to end poverty, reduce inequality and tackle climate change. The goals are all interlinked, because we are one globalised species living on one planet. Climate changes are expected to have their greatest impacts on the poorest and most vulnerable communities, children among them. We think that as climate change is a global problem that does not respect national borders, we need to work together as a global community. We have decided that at least 10 out of 17 of the Sustainable Development Goals will bind our activities and have an impact on us and our communities. Even if the goals are not legally binding, they are implemented in national-level policies, and many businesses and communities respond positively to them. The official outcomes of the implementation will be assessed in 2030, ours already in 2022."

Most European countries have moved from immigrant countries to migration countries. These processes of significant changes in the ethno-cultural composition are sometimes confronted with rejection among native groups. Diversity is a fact and a need that has been experienced in all European countries. Therefore, cultural integration is one of the most important developments in the European Union. In some parts of the world, immigrants are subject to arbitrary and discriminatory treatment by authorities and other members of society. Intercultural communication is necessary to ensure social adaptation, to develop pluralism and consciousness of living together in order to get more respect and solidarity between different cultures and to eliminate prejudices as soon as in Europe. Our goal is the study of migration in Europe, particularly of people belonging to ethnic minorities living in our countries and local areas, sharing this information with our European partners. Thus, we shall concentrate on the issues faced by immigrants as prejudice and discrimination in society, the problems of their children at school and their struggle to participate in the culture of the place where they live in the period of social integration. Moreover, our project aims to teach our students ""Immigration"" and the values of different cultures and ethnic identities. What we seek with this project is to interest students about immigrants and make them aware of the presence of other cultures and know that by working collaboratively and cooperatively with partner schools, they can understand and appreciate the cultural differences. The project aims to open among European teachers and students a common reflection on the theme of migration and integration, based on the recovering, by means of direct sources and interviews, the historic memory of the people who were migrants and of those who hosted migrants in the past, and by comparing what is happening in the present, again listening to both side of the story, the migrants, and the natives. By studying closely the movement of migration we aim to develop an understanding of the intercultural dimension in European societies. In today’s expanded Europe, given the increasing ease with which people can cross borders and find work outside their own country, it seems vital that our students be able to tolerate the views of those whose origins and background are different from their own. We will work on the measures taken throughout Europe to overcome stereotypes and prejudices and ensure that immigrants arriving are as well integrated as possible. The question of identity is of key importance in any discussion involving closer integration of the immigrant population. Is it desirable for immigrants to strive to remain loyal to their origins or should they aim to assimilate the culture, language and traditions of their adopted land? How do indigenous populations react to the influx of EU nationals in large numbers? What problems has this migration created and how are they dealing with it?We will also deal with the problems immigrants experience during the process of their psychological and sociocultural adaptation to the host culture ;Coping With Culture Shock, Cultural Clashes and Cultural ,Getting Past Language and Communication Barriers and Coping with Homesickness and Alienation. We will do seminars to emphasize these problems . Each school will create project groups made of students and the groups will have interviews with the immigrants. In each study visit, one of the interviewed immigrant will be invited .The immigrant will share his experience before and after the migration. The movies about migration will be watched. Then the students will be asked to discuss their feelings and thoughts about the migration which is also the subject of the movies. An authority from agencies working on migration issues will be invited to the meetings. Case studies analyzing specific aspects of the personal experience of migration and a dictionary with the meanings and definitions of key words about migration and integration will be done. The project methodolgy is based on the concept of interdisciplinary teaching as a means to enhance the quality of education. Our partners represent contrasting social and economic backgrounds, and a diverse collection of communities from across Europe. Our target group are pupils, parents, collegues, pedagogical staff, boards of schools and the public. We believe that our project is compatible with EU youth policy in attempt to develop young people’s spirit of entrepreneurship. The increased environmental and common cultural wealth awareness in participants as well as in local communities, will contribute to young people to develop their personalities."

Bosco LucarelliFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2016-1-UK01-KA219-024382Funder Contribution: 145,990 EURSchools have a critical role to play in our lives and in the life of the community. As a reflection of wider society, schools are key to socializing younger generations, preparing learners to become active and engaged members of society. In an interconnected and globalized 21st century, young people are being exposed to a diverse and changing world around them, a world in which poverty, inequality and other injustices are still very much a part of the lives of millions.Human rights can give schools around the world a shared language of equality, non-discrimination, inclusion, respect, dignity and participation that is crucial to the goal of achieving a more peaceful and just global society. Our goal is to develop activities, working methods that will build the attitude of openness and tolerance to wide-range differences to counteract prejudices, xenophobia. Human rights education is a critical means of instilling the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that can foster a culture of human rights. The project objectives are to sensitize young people on their human rights and the rights of others, increase active participation of young people in society, enhance civic commitment of young people towards human rights protection and promote positive attitudes to the EU vales of human rights and fundamental freedoms thereby fostering a culture where human rights are understood, respected and promoted. Each one of us must educate ourselves about our rights and take responsibility for respecting others’ rights. This is the reason why the partner schools became interested in how human rights are taught to people. The Partner schools will use the framework of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Convention on the Rights of the Child to help students to understand and appreciate common human values. And our project will be guided by the general objectives of the Human Right Convention.A very important another aspect of the project is preparing a pedagogical base including reflections and proposals of active methods invaluable to improve the Lisbon Key Competences such as: learning to learn, interpersonal, intercultural and social competences, civic competence, cultural expression and communication in the mother tongue. The main target group of this action is students that are the owners of future. That is why all our activities are student oriented and can be only accomplished with their participation. The aim of the these activities is to enable the students gain knowledge and abilities that they can use in future. Our partners represent contrasting social and economic backgrounds, and a diverse collection of communities from across Europe. By working together to deliver our aims about human rights we will be successful in showing our students, parents, staff and others, how people from different parts of Europe can work together in order to improve relations and create a more cohesive European citizenship. This two year project (2016-2018) outlines key areas of the basic rights and freedoms of all men, women and children. The activities of the project will focus on the following topics: 1-Equality & Discrimination (Social exclusion) 2-Cultural and social rights (Women Rights)3-Democratic Education (Children rights)4-Right to social security(Immigrant Rights)Through the involvement of volunteer teachers, community resource people, lawyers, the program encourages students to create and implement projects that foster respect for human rights. It is expected to be a strong cooperation among institutions, municipalities, district governorships, district national education directorates, NGOs during the preparation, implementation and sustainability of our project. They will be invited to join events and discussion forums. The project methodolgy is based on the concept of interdisciplinary teaching as a means to enhance the quality of education. We aim at approaching key issues from the perspective of different subjects, cultures and languages, thus providing a more comprehensive understanding of civic issues in a European context. So with 6 partner schools taking part in the project and spreading the knowledge gained and involving people actively with the measures on integration put into practice an estimated number of 100 people will directly benefit from the activities. As this project deals with human rights in the school community, teachers, pupils, their parents and local community, other schools in the community who will be involved in the project an exact number is difficult to state. We hope there will be many more involved. We believe that our world's chance is human rights education for the today pupils who will be the tomorrow adults. Small steps made by pupils and their families in some European countries will lead for sure to a better future for the whole world.

There are countries with a weak and with a strong infrastructure. Whereas in the northwestern part of the European Union almost every citizen has got a job and there is a high demand for skilled workers, the eastern states of the EU are struggling against unemployment and the younger people hardly see any professional opportunities in their countries. This project had two major goals: On the one hand, it has created a better consciousness for the European economy among young people who have just started or are about to start a career. They learned what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Therefore, they had to examine the local markets before they could come up with an innovative and attractive product, which was easy to market afterwards. During the whole project the focus was always on the entrepreneurial thinking of the adolescents. Procedure: After having agreed on a cheap location (Bulgaria), they searched for suitable employees throughout Europe. Possible candidates who responded to the job advertisements were invited to an interview. After having filled the vacancies the students started to design and finally produce their product. Another important aspect the students had to deal with were marketing strategies: how to promote the product throughout Europe? In the end, they agreed on flyers and commercials. On the other hand, the students have learned that they could also search for a suitable workplace as skilled workers outside of their country. They gained some first experience how to do this and what to think of: Where and how do I have to apply? How to prepare for an entrance test or a job interview? Most of these questions were answered during the visit of some big companies and the following talk to the company representatives (vocational, international and personal experience as well as a good command of foreign languages). The project and its participants (aged 16-22)Through the use of role plays the students learned to embody the role of an entrepreneur (making decisions, founding a company, searching for suitable employees) which improved their entrepreneurial skills. On the other hand, they also took the role of an employee/ job candidate who applied for a job (social and professional skills, experience, etc.).First, the students analyzed and compared the education system of the participating countries and the resulting career opportunity of each degree with the goal to strengthen the students´ willingness migration. Here, the issue of how to integrate vocational migrants was discussed. Finally, after the project the students realized that globalization does not only take place in European submarkets but also in European schools, in this case in projects and the support when it comes to searching for an apprenticeship or a work placement. The language spoken during the project was basically German, supported by some English. This was a benefit for all participants, because non-Germans could elaborate on their German skills and, if necessary, use English to clear up some points.
