We all are socialized into a culture that normalizes, and often encourages, male power and aggression. Women’s sexuality is often treated as a product which men have a right to and women are often not seen as those who have their own control over it. During adolescence, attitudes and behaviour are influenced by social sexual “scripts” which determine individuals’ relationships and sexual interactions through dominant discourses that include core cultural beliefs about gender and sex. Forms of sexual violence such as sexual harassment have become a norm which leads to such forms of abuse, being considered as “normal” or as “flirting” and “teasing”.Under current circumstances, we see the urgent need to create remote tools to educate on these sensitive topics. Educating, sensitizing and better understanding of each other's boundaries is the right approach to start working on abolishing inequality and safety and engagement of all genders, minorities and cultures. We deem it necessary for the EU to have its own digital tools as the context of sexual violence and its perception by the EU population is different from existing US-based tools. In the uncertain times of the world pandemic, the EU needs innovative online tools to educate young people and create safer environments.<< Objectives >>We want to create and make accessible online and offline games that address gender stereotypes, inequality in intimate relationships and sexual violence in different backgrounds. Learning through gamification is a powerful tool that encourages social sharing, learner’s engagement and contributes to increasing competencies and influencing change of behaviors. Especially among young people, games are very popular. Through those games which are innovative, young people have the space to vocalise their own experience and make it transferable to their peers and other social environments. They’ll become a key element in creating storylines which will help empower other vulnerable youth, promote engagement and learn about the addressed topics. Love ACTually 4.0 aims to design and develop highly innovative and engaging methods of learning for young people, as advanced experiential learning environments. In order to decrease the number of cases of sexual violence. It increases volume and quality of non-formal learning, as well raises awareness about desired values and status on inclusion. Objectives of the project are: - to demonstrate and develop new effective strategies which will engage young people, educate in a meaningful way, raise awareness of the issues and empower victims to take appropriate action, among them engaging interactive learning environments, awareness raising campaigns and sources of information,- to empower young people to be the creators of the social reality in regard to social interactions, and to influence lives of other young people by young people, and to engage them in the conversation that touches lives of young people,- to provide youth workers and youth-led NGOs with highly innovative tools addressing gender based violence, cyberviolence, establishing relationships, discrimination and violence, which can be used also to other domains of youth-work,- to increase inclusion, equality, respect, positive attitudes to self and society, civil engagement of young people,- to increase literacy in using media and establishing new relationships online that is on the rise due to the pandemic, - to increase the volume of tools that can be used in restrictions of a pandemic, - to support and build resilience in partner organizations in their work with young people,<< Implementation >>The project activities consist of: 7 Transnational Meetings - where partners meet in real life throughout the project duration and in-between the rest of activities. Those meetings enable more in depth understanding of the practical context of each, their work, the country culture and highly contribute to the overall project management, planning, implementation, dissemination and evaluation of on-going the results.National Team Meetings - those take place within each partner, together with their young participants, and youth workers who participate in the different activities of the project. Those consist of focus and working groups, working on the content and context of the project activities and production of the intellectual outputs and overall results of the project.3 International Training Activities - where partners educate each other about the topics, and tools they are not familiar with strengthening their capacities. Those trainings contribute to the creation of the different Intellectual Outputs. The training activities serve as a preparation of the partners for when working nationally with their focus groups on the outputs.6 National Seminars - where we can consult our focus group (of youth) in mother tongues and more in depth in order to develop with them the outputs, peer-to-peer to aim better for the needs of the target group, from youth-to-youth.Multiplier Events - where the main outputs will be launched. Those events, that will take place internationally and within each partner country, help to increase visibility of the project, its aims, outputs, the addresses issues, and of the Erasmus+ program, while they engage the different target groups (youth workers, and other relevant stakeholders) who will benefit from using the outputs in their professional and personal lives and become multipliers themselves in the impact of the project.<< Results >>Love ACTually 4.0 aims to create sustainable and innovative results and outcomes that will be beneficial for everyone involved in the project directly and indirectly. We will create 3 types of games - online game, offline game and board game which will allow young people to experience the problematic situations related to dating and sexual violence from different perspectives and seek for and train the right solutions in them, e.g. to respond appropriately within intimate relationships and sexual encounters. Games will affect attitude and behavioural change, raise awareness amongst key stakeholder groups, in particular young people, and decrease prejudices, gender stereotypes and norms that contribute to the non-toleration of gender-based violence. The overall results of the project are as follows:sensitized and educated partners organizations that are experts on other topics in the field of sexual violence, gender stereotypes and gamification skills. All of those are necessary for creation of the games but it will also reflect in their future youth work.a focus group of trained young people in each partner organization that will provide all inputs for the outputs produced.a versatile and serious game to be played on PCs / mobile phones / tablets. a versatile offline game and board game.a test, validation and demonstration environment to ensure user requirements are central to game performance and to ensure specified performance assessment standards are met.Promotion of the games and multiplication of them in the schools, festivals and other informal environments with the help of the youth. Brochures with all innovative ways of education created and distributed within relevant networks of actors in the field of youth education and prevention. There will be a project website, where all the tangible outputs and non-tangible results will be shared, a best practice brochure, a series of videos, podcasts and social media posts and printed material to promote the games and campaign for awareness on the topics made from youth to youth. Through campaigning throughout the project, as well as the dissemination and multiplier events, the society will be educated on the topics of sexual violence, harassment, cyberviolence, respect, inclusion, youth empowerment, cooperation and European values. The project will result in a wide range of mechanisms which will raise awareness of the effects of sexual violence and violence within intimate relatiosnhips, and establish a vibrant community-of-interest, discussion among youth, NGOs, educational institutions, as well as policy makers.
