High rates of youth unemployment and young school leavers show the need for implementing projects which launch reflection and experimentation actions designed to improve quality and innovation in youth workers’ approaches to unemployment. At the same time the project will support the social inclusion of young people through employability - in line of objectives and fields of action of the renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018)DATADropouts: EU28 average (12.7% in 2012). Spain (24.9%); Italy (17.6%); United Kingdom (13.5%) Youth unemployment: EU28 average (23%). Italy (35.3%); Spain (53.2%); UK (21%) (Eurostat).OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES The project aims to promote a strategic partnership between 4 European organisations in order to foster the inclusion and employability of young people, ( aged between 17 and 24 years), with fewer opportunities (NEETs and young people with disadvantage backgrounds). We will achieve this through a comprehensive social intervention at personal, family and social level in their path to a job.Specific objectives:1. To share innovative good practices in youth workers’ approaches to unemployment, especially for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.- Activity: Development of a database. 2. To develop a comprehensive approach (methodology) to support young people with fewer opportunities in their path to a job by involving young people, youth workers, families, companies and other stakeholders.- Local working groups, methodological guide. 3. To improve the skills and competences of youth workers, especially digital competences, so that they will be able to offer a high quality support to disadvantaged young people in their job seeking. Activities: Training activitiesin ICT for youth workers and the development of ICT-based resources for cooperation and communication (portal web). 4. To empower disadvantaged young people in their path to a job as well as promoting meetings and reflection spaces with stakeholders (companies, public administrations and policy-makers) and other European young people (virtual mobility).- Activities: local events and virtual mobility. 5. To improve the international capacity of participating organisations by adding European value to their experiences, guidance and job placement programmes for young people with fewer opportunities. They will achieve this through joint work with organisations in other European countries, the use of European tools for dissemination (Dissemination platform Erasmus+), the recognition of learning outcomes (Europass) and the implementation of the following intellectual outputs (digital, under Creative Commons license and in different languages): - Database: Innovative good practices about youth inclusion through employability.- PATH TO A JOB. Comprehensive methodology for the accompaniment of young people with fewer opportunities in their path to a job.- Web portal: Path to a job.NUMBER AND PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTSThe project involves approximately 1720 people, both directly and indirectly. The profile of direct participants: young people with fewer opportunities, youth workers and companies’ representatives. Indirect participants’ profile: policy makers, decision takers, businesses, local and regional authorities, civil society organisations, education and training providers, employment agencies, youth workers and organisations and young people and families.RESULTS AND IMPACTYouth workers will be trained to develop key competences such as linguistic and digital skills and specific ones related to coaching for improving the quality of youth work. Open educational resources, multilingual and freely available will be developed. The implementation of a comprehensive methodology for the accompaniment of young people with fewer opportunities in the path to a job will be facilitated through a structured guide with quality indicators, a database of innovative good practices and a portal web about youth inclusion through employabilityPromote active participation of young people with fewer opportunities in key aspects affecting their lives (empowerment)

To adapt teaching and learning techniques to be accessible by all regardless of prior qualifications,.2. To influence the design of Sustainable Communities across Europe - Sustainability in all its senses, environmental, social, economic and practical with specific emphasis on Sustainable Construction. Background:Across Europe rural areas are in decline. Young people move away from remote areas to be educated, then to find work. This decline has significant impact on local services & on the environment. Keeping communities diverse and inclusive is a challenge that must essentially be met to maintain equality of opportunity for those people continuing to live and work in rural areas. Rural buildings are often difficult to maintain as traditional skills die. Thus alters the face of our villages which threatens our cultural heritage. This project built a Model for Sustainable Communities bt creating bespoke a training programme incorporating flexible, participative vocational training in traditional construction techniques alongside the essential ingredients of personal and professional development and empowerment. The resulting ECCE Build Certificate is recognised in both VET & HE. sectors. The Objectives included:1. Discovering old & new techniques of Sustainable Construction. Learning together with partners. Designing & delivering the ECCE Build Certificate with recognition of qualifications so that vocational training is measured to be equal academic study.2. Understanding how better use of natural materials brings community benefits and influences future design of buildings.3. Creating a series of exhibition example community buildings as a legacy to the project activity and as a focus for further work.4. Establish a Network for Sustainable Communities across EuropeMethodology :Participative teaching & learning methods were used throughout the project. Supported by the expertise of University of Jaime 1, Castellon Spain and their experience of the e-Brick House, alongside the traditional methods of vocational training the partners designed and delivered the new training course. This further developed the ECCE Methodology of contributory learning developed in an earlier Erasmus+ programme. Each partner contributed specific expertise to further develop the process of teaching and learning. The new course consists of 6 Learning Modules with each partner leading on their specialist area. The focus is on sustainability in all its forms throughout the project. The project examined constraints in the town-planning regulations in each country as well as environmental issues relating to social housing and alternative construction methods. But the project was not just about buildings and construction, the partners showed that in designing Sustainable Communities the keys lie within techniques of empowerment, communication, open informal learning and pride of place. The project trained 63 participants with 24 of them becoming trainers to work within their local communities. Practical sessions were endorsed by distance-learning. One new environmentally sustainable building was created by each partner. Using different local building materials the training Modules included ancient skills and traditional construction methods alongside environmentally friendly technologies for the conservation of energy and efficient use of natural resources. Trainee participants were previously unqualified in construction and in most cases will be drawn from disadvantaged groups. Partners:Led by La Colporteuse, the project leaves a legacy of environmentally friendly community buildings created through joint training workshops. The local action groups in progress continue the work. UJI University (Spain) collaborated with partners to oversee training and to work towards the parallel recognition of professional and higher qualifications. The ecological village of Lammas in Wales (United Kingdom), ProVita, a community of social enterprises in rural Romania, and the living museum of Fundación Uxio Novoneyra in Galicia (New Zealand) have concluded the partnership. Each building relied on local expertise and traditional skills, complemented by partner experience and contributed to the sustainable communities model. Results:A new training course - ECCE Build Certificate, recognized as a professional qualification with a credit transfer value for European use. Remote learning portal created for a wider profit.EuroPass certificate by 63 participants.6 old units (buildings) created for community use.A new network created to support the development of sustainable communities across Europe"

According to the last General Population Census the share of children and adolescents in the total population of the Nigde/Turkey region is above country averages. In Nigde the age group 14-25 constitutes a larger share of population (44.0 %) relative to the country average (16.6) makes it necessary to develop special policies and set targets for children and adolescents. Unemployment is one of the basic problems of the region. At present, according to records of TUIK Nevsehir region administration record the rate of unemployment in the region is 6.5 %. This is 12.2 in Europe. Second big problem for youth is early school leaving. However average schooling rate in middle and high school 70,06 % in country it is 64,49 in our region in Turkish Ministry of National Education records. The young population of the region is affected negatively by such factors as limited opportunities of both formal and vocational education and training, high rates of unemployment and absence or insufficient means of social, cultural and leisure time activities. Affecting one in seven young people, early school leaving is one of the greatest educational challenges in Europe, and reducing its levels is a shared objective of EU countries. The prevention of early school leaving (ESL) should be built on a comprehensive approach of the young people, taking into account the family environment, the neighborhood, and his/her life in and out of school. The role of parents his/hers a key element to reduce the rate of ESL. Currently it is a target of European policies to prevent young people from leaving education and training with only a lower secondary education degree or less. Objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy include reducing the rates of early school leaving below 10%.United Europe For Youth (UEFY) is a strategic partnership project for youth which aims to develop a social learning tool for youth workers-institutions to provide mentoring programs for middle and high school youth in Europe to prevent early school leaving and regain the ones who are out of system. The project will form partnerships with local school districts, education counseling authorities, probation services and directorates of youth politics in partner countries. Our project's goal is to foster a commitment to young people that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and reassert a sense of hope in future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give youth the commitment to follow through on path to adulthood with a sense of pride accomplishment. Through repeated failures in the classroom and the development of destructive habits, at-risk young people have lost faith in possibilities that await them if they are successful putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, young people should be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect. United Europe For Youth (UEFY) project will develop a social learning tool (one-on-one mentoring system) and test it for seven months on 324 middle and high school youths and the ones who are out of system from different countries of Europe. Because this age group is particularly problematic and it is a perfect time for mentoring to be effective. Project's mentoring programs will pair a youth with a mentor for 7 months. During that time the two will participate in weekly planned activities to strengthen the relationship between the two and improve the young person's confidence and hopefulness. Mentors (youth workers) will receive continuous training throughout the activity and will participate in monthly meetings to report the young person's progress. During project partners will create a learning environment that will be an invaluable resource to young people, aspiring mentors and the community at large. At the end of project activities we will publish a social learning methodology book for youth workers and will create and publish a social learning tool software UEFY Software which will be an free and open source for youth workers all around Europe.Basically our project contains two main goals; A-) Setting a strong local and international network between education system - youth support system - youth NGOs and local youth authorities called United Europe for Youth (UEFY). B-) B-1 : Creating, applying, testing and disseminating a one-on-one mentoring system (social learning tool) to regain at risk young people who are close to early school leaving, out of education system already and met with probation system or police. Mentors are supposed to impose behaviors of commitment, responsibility and possibility cognitively to the young people. B-2: Training of youth mentors.
