The project is formed to develop the methodology and build up the network for cross-sectoral cooperation in questions of facilitation and empowerment of young women in rural areas. It arises not only as the articulation on many challenges: economic and social, that communities in rural areas face today, but also as a way to widen up the perspective for solutions of these challenges, that often lay within better facilitation of vulnerable or underprioritized groups of people, like young women. There are partner organisations from three countries involved in this project: Turkey, Spain and Sweden. This partnership is built on the recognition of similar challenges and the mutual will to bring both the youth work within the organisations, and interactions with extern stakeholders to a higher level, with a specific focus on gender factor, with recognition and support for social entrepreneurship initiatives and conventional entrepreneurship approach, and with developing sustainable methods of cross-secroral collaboration. These processes face particularly much obstacles when adressed in the rural areas, which makes this project into an important puzzle piece in a picture of sustainable development in Europe, regarding both economical stability and social comfort environment. The objectives of the project, with reference to the background of the partnership, are - to initiate a critical discussion about the factors and conditions for young women - entrepreneurs in rural areas, - to bring together stakeholders from different sectors into a strong network promoting empowerment of young women and collaboration over borders for collecting the knowledge and learnings, adaptation and implementation of good practises.- to put into perspective, evaluate and develop methods of facilitation and empowerment.Partner organisations are represented by 5 persons each, forming a core goup of the project of 15 persons. Their profiles include experience of public, non-profit NGOs, private sector and educational establishments, and qualifications of conducting social research and facilitate social design processes, mass media, political communication, organisation development, issue management. The skills represented by the participants include personal coaching and organisation of group work, events and projects of different scale and target group. There are competences of gender equality, youth employment and meaningfull occupations, social investments, social mobilisation, media and PR, as well as cultural production, represented in the group of persons involved in this project. This diversity is defined due to the methods of social design used in this project. Other methods used in the project are group discussions, SWAT-analysis, peer learning and evaluation, personal and media presentations, case studies, mindmapping, storytelling, brainstorming. Activities carried out in the project include meetings, study visits, evaluation sessions, presentations, workshops, seminars, panel debates, networking and mingle, round tables, and a conference. The results of the project include strengthening of participants' competence in relevant areas, creation of a cross-sectoral expert network including opinion makers, articulation of special factors for women intrepreneurship in rural areas, widening of the discourse of social entrepreneurship in gender perspective. Impacts of the project involve higher effectiveness of youth work,, acceleration of processes of cross-sectoral clustering and collaboration; higher rate of discussions of relevant issues, leading to changes in national and local policies and politics, further development of key-actors collaboration and spreading of good practices with regards to common EU-vision and rules, articulation of young women's role in the development of rural areas, spreading and adjusting of European experience to other parts of the world facing similar challenges.Potential long term benefits include higher efficiency of facilitation activities designed for young women in rural areas, which would lower the costs for these activities in the long term, and accelerate the process of establishing of new women entrepreneurs. This would lead to higher occupation rate and therefore lower unemployment in rural areas, development of new productions and services. This in its turn would accelerate development of infrastructure and communication, which would lead to further diversity.

"Europe is experiencing one of the most significant influxes of migrants in its history. Pushed by civil war and terror and pulled by the promise of a better life, hundreds of thousands of people have fled the Middle East and Africa, risking their lives along the way. The organisations involved in the project are in frontline in the work with migrants and asylum seekers and feel strongly the need to improve the quality of the services offered and - if necessary - to review their strategy. The main objectives was: to characterize what constitutes a good practices; to identify one good practice in each organisation, focusing on each field of expertise; to provide a virtual and face-to-face space to share and learning from each others; to improve the competences of the educators involved in the areas of house policy, job integration, language teaching, awareness of the local communities; to extend the educators competences of using the ICT for learning; to support the organisation involved in starting a reviewing process of what they offer and how to their target group, by importing elements of good practices acquired during the learning mobilities; to learn how to import some elements of the good practices in each institutions' work; to create a network of organisations that can work together. The organisations involved in the project was totally nine: mainly ""non-governmental organization/association/social enterprise"" but also ""Non-profit making cultural organizations and ""Local Public Body. The main activities was local and trasnational. Each local reality has been involved in carrying out three types of activities. 1) Identification of what a good practice is: a working group in each country defines the characteristics of good practices, using some literatures researches and their own experience. The coordinator of each working group has then shared it and created a common document. This has been the base to identify what practices to share with the others partners during the learning mobilities. 2) Report of the legal procedure that a migrant need to take once arrived in each country the report will focus on steps, timing and consequences. 3) Working on implementing elements of good practices in each reality. After the learning activities, there has been a working group to share what elements of good practices each organizations could import and implement. The staff was involved in three training events in three different locations. The exchange of experiences and practices between organisations was an unforgettable experience that will benefit all for a long time. Meeting and seeing practical examples of life as a refugee left a great impression on the participants. The activities was organised using non-formal education methods, and was focused mostly on sharing and exchanging practices. The participants as well got the chance to better understand the different realities, to visit different stakeholders which influenced their further engagement, but also understandings and vision on how to plan local and national activities concerning the refugees and migrants. The organizations increased their capacity to perform new activities, established networks throughout the city and partnerships with the relevant stakeholders. More specifically, the main impacts of the project towards the organisation were the practices that were shared and explored within the duration of the project. The partners will maintain this results by developing it in their everyday activities. About the longer-term benefits, all the participants will continue to use the practices that were shared throughout the project in our further work after the end of the project. Something which is positive is that the practices are clear, but also they can be transferable and flexible which is very useful for us. An additional thing that will be maintained after the end of the EU funding would be the networking and partnerships, as many of the partners have huge expertise on certain topics, for which we could still consult and share, and also continue to share and comment on different good practices which we see beneficial for the consortium of the project. The successful partnership that we established in this project yielded very fruitful results and hopefully, we will work for similar future activities as well. We think that will be different sources of support: first of all, the partner organisations have everyday activity with the refugee an so they can continue on the implementation of the project results just adding this methodology on their activity without special financial issue (most of the things do not specifically require a huge support, as the contacts and links are already established.), secondly we are talking about the possibility to further apply for funding within the Erasmus+ program, or some other programs and going on the experimentation and the common work."

The youth in general is the connection of any society to its future and the most dynamic part of that society as well. According to the last General Population Census the share of children and adolescents in the total population of the Nigde/Turkey region is above country averages. In Nigde the age group 14-25 constitutes a larger share of population (44.0 %) relative to the country average (16.6) makes it necessary to develop special policies and set targets for children and adolescents. Unemployment is one of the basic problems of the region. At present, according to records of TUIK Nevsehir region administration record the rate of unemployment in the region is 6.5 %. This is 12.2 in Europe. Second big problem for youth is early school leaving. However average schooling rate in middle and high school 70,06 % in country it is 64,49 in our region in Turkish Ministry of National Education records. The young population of the region is affected negatively by such factors as limited opportunities of both formal and vocational education and training, high rates of unemployment and absence or insufficient means of social, cultural and leisure time activities. Affecting one in seven young people, early school leaving is one of the greatest educational challenges in Europe, and reducing its levels is a shared objective of EU countries. The prevention of early school leaving (ESL) should be built on a comprehensive approach of the young people, taking into account the family environment, the neighborhood, and his/her life in and out of school. The role of parents his/hers a key element to reduce the rate of ESL. Currently it is a target of European policies to prevent young people from leaving education and training with only a lower secondary education degree or less. Objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy include reducing the rates of early school leaving below 10%.United Europe For Youth (UEFY) is a strategic partnership project for youth which aims to develop a social learning tool for youth workers-institutions to provide mentoring programs for middle and high school youth in Europe to prevent early school leaving and regain the ones who are out of system. The project will form partnerships with local school districts, education counseling authorities, probation services and directorates of youth politics in partner countries. Our project's goal is to foster a commitment to young people that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills and reassert a sense of hope in future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give youth the commitment to follow through on path to adulthood with a sense of pride accomplishment. Through repeated failures in the classroom and the development of destructive habits, at-risk young people have lost faith in possibilities that await them if they are successful putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, young people should be in a caring, inclusive learning environment that promotes their best effort and reinforces personal respect. United Europe For Youth (UEFY) project will develop a social learning tool (one-on-one mentoring system) and test it for seven months on 324 middle and high school youths and the ones who are out of system from different countries of Europe. Because this age group is particularly problematic and it is a perfect time for mentoring to be effective. Project's mentoring programs will pair a youth with a mentor for 7 months. During that time the two will participate in weekly planned activities to strengthen the relationship between the two and improve the young person's confidence and hopefulness. Mentors (youth workers) will receive continuous training throughout the activity and will participate in monthly meetings to report the young person's progress. During project partners will create a learning environment that will be an invaluable resource to young people, aspiring mentors and the community at large. At the end of project activities we will publish a social learning methodology book for youth workers and will create and publish a social learning tool software UEFY Software which will be an free and open source for youth workers all around Europe.Basically our project contains two main goals; A-) Setting a strong local and international network between education system - youth support system - youth NGOs and local youth authorities called United Europe for Youth (UEFY). B-) B-1 : Creating, applying, testing and disseminating a one-on-one mentoring system (social learning tool) to regain at risk young people who are close to early school leaving, out of education system already and met with probation system or police. Mentors are supposed to impose behaviors of commitment, responsibility and possibility cognitively to the young people. B-2: Training of youth mentors.
