"Fashion industry is among the biggest contributors to waste on the planet. And, the society and youth are little equipped to deal with the impact of overconsumption of clothes, textiles and the like. Let us portray an everyday situation:We buy it, wear it a few times, get sick of it - or we realize it’s out of fashion and we throw it away, only to begin this cycle all over again.Unfortunately, the affordability and accessibility of fast fashion comes at a high price for the planet and especially for the people who make it. There are roughly 40 million garment workers in the world today, 85% of them women, who are some of the lowest paid workers in the world. Not to mention it’s also a major contributor to greenhouse gases, water, and air pollution, and creates problematic levels of waste. However, the problem lies not in garment. We need to change people's habits, attitude and behaviour towards clothing consumption. Sure, the world reacts to the problem, but still is not even nearly enough. That is why we want to implement ""The Circle of Fashion"" (CoF).CoF aims to take small steps towards better habits, cleaner environment & to stand up for human rights, with more specific objectives being:- to launch, test & develop a training programme about conscious behaviour towards clothing/fashion targeting youth workers & young leaders from EU & partner countries;- to equip youth workers & young leaders with knowledge, key competences & employable tools aimed at reducing the impact of fast fashion;- to foster capacity building and new social initiatives in youth work (related to the topics of conscious consumption / human rights / environment);- to increase transnational cooperation & exchange of good practices in the field between youth workers, NGOs & other stakeholders;- to disseminate the project’s ideas further to the wider public. Why these needs were selected over others:The consortium believes that it’s necessary to get serious about the “fashion problem”. It’s not as small or superficial as it might seem. In fact, it’s impact is on par with plastic overuse. The Circle of Fashion objectives and planned outputs & outcomes completely fit those of the participating organisations and of the European policies in multiple fields. Moreover, it will create synergies and long-term impact by:- improving youth work;- contributing to the well-being of youth & society in general;- raising social awareness about garments overconsumption & solutions for it;- adding to capacities of NGOs & mobility of youth in the developing countries. What is more, since the project is developed in tight cooperation with international partners, it will allow all the involved parties to learn from diverse experiences."

"""Growing Green"" is a partnership between partner organizations in Denmark, Nepal, Myanmar and Vietnam. The project addresses the need of bringing non-formal education in line with the current global challenges and mainstream Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education as a new core element. A UN report shows that there were at least 74 million young people unemployed in 2015. A further report identifies that temperatures in 2015 have been about 1 degree Celsius above the pre-industrial era, an effect caused by a human-induced global warming. With entrepreneurship being promoting as a tool to fight unemployment, the partners have agreed to be essential that this generation of young entrepreneurs are not only educated in creating financially successful enterprises, but also sustainable enterprises that utilise the worlds natural and human resources responsibly. However, from their research, the partners identified that the concept of Sustainable Entrepreneurship, besides of being relatively new, Education is only slowly evolving with academia and within higher education, being hardly present in the non-formal education with youth. The project entails 6 capacity building activities and one mobility of youth workers. Throughout the project, the partners will create a guide in Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education (SEE), train 70 trainers in SEE in the partners' countries, reach about 275 young people and more than 2000 stakeholders. The guide developed will consists of four parts: 1. factsheets upon local and global implications of unsustainable entrepreneurship, 2. at least 10 non-formal methods in Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education, such as simulations and role plays, 3. Examples of sustainable enterprises created by young people and not only, and 4. A further reading list. Overall, the partner organizations will strengthen their capacity to provide Sustainable Entrepreneurship Education, enhance their international network, renew their educational packages and strengthen the recognition of learning activities they provide, while non-formal education will be revitalized and new forms of youth work will be stimulated."

Undermining democratic decision-making, rising mistrust on the capacity of the economic, religion and political levels to solve societal challenges and lack of human rights education (HRE) activities can lead to to human conflicts and breaking the compass of societal norms and standards. As a consequence, there is a definite need to consider the role of Education for democratic and global citizenship and HRE with young people, youth workers and other stakeholders that through this consortium we want to bring out.Increasingly, the consortium of this project views HRE as a way to bring coherence to a fragmented and globalized world. Issues of gender equity, cultural diversity, interfaith dialogue, prevention of violence, elimination of stereotypes may all be approached from a HR perspective through the principles of respect, tolerance and recognition. Regarding that the project responds directly to needs of building capacity of partner organisation for using HRE on the local level and transferring existing tools and creating new one for promoting HR and Inter-religious dialogue. HRE must constantly evolve in order to respond to the changing needs and circumstances of today’s societies. Furthermore, it is not enough to simply educate youngsters on tolerance and non-violence as well as intercultural and iterfaith dialogue cannot be described as a best practice without being demonstrated and reinforced by educators, parents, the community and wider civil society. Only through a holistic and cooperative approach can HRE be truly effective in guaranteeing respect for the rights of all. For these reasons, the project also focuses on the planning and implementing different and effective CBAs at the local level in order to strengthen the capabilities of all partners and better promotion and protection of HR.We believe that creating new tools and games in HRE and discovering vary mechanisms, structures and policies for promotion of HRE will certainly raise the participants’ understanding of the concerted efforts undertaken in this field not only within the EU space.Objectives:1. To build capacities of the partner organization for planning and running activities related to Human Rights Education - HRE and interfaith dialogue2. To develop competences of youth workers, leaders and trainers needed for working in HRE and intercultural and inter-religious societies 3. To equip youth workers for HRE and train multipliers how to organize educational activities on local level4. To create new tools and manuals for HRE 5. Promote different positive and effective approaches of HRE in all partner countries and their realitiesTo working on promotion and recognition of youth work and NFE 6. To support qualitative development of youth work on local, national and international level
