"<< Background >>The issue of migration and freedom is one of the main challenges faced by Europe today: for this project we have tried to create a network of schools allowing us to understand the complexity of this topic and including as much personal experience as possible. We want our students to understand the historical dimension of migration, to quantitatively analyze its present aspects / challenges and to consider immigration as an opportunity for the future of Europe. The most important objective of our project will be the promotion, among our pupils, of the rights linked to European citizenship and the common values of the EU; therefore strengthening the participation of young people in the democratic life of the European Union.<< Objectives >>The heart of our project is to stimulate among young people the values and principles of human and democratic rights (such as dignity, equality, solidarity, non-discrimination, pluralism and respect for the law) by promoting a historical and current analysis of immigration. The project involves five countries: France, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy and Spain, and a considerable number of students. The schools, participating in this magnificent experience, are all from mixed or disadvantaged backgrounds. However they all have a similar profile. Even if different in languages and cultures, these schools have a common desire and need: to provide their students the opportunity to open up to other cultures, to get out of their environments, to broaden their cultural horizons, to learn about new innovative learning methods, to develop their autonomy to work in a team and to use foreign languages; opportunities that they could not have without this project.<< Implementation >>We will propose a wide variety of activities in different countries and at different moment of time. In every country, each discipline will hold courses and activities such as specific research targeted to the objectives of the project. Each discipline will submit to students movies, texts or readings, statistical studies on immigration from the OECD, to allow everyone to think deeply about the importance of what they are going to learn. More precisely, we will work on the actual meaning of ""freedom"" and the value given to this word. Students will also have the opportunity to analyze the causes, the motivations and the importance of immigration by participating in conferences and meetings. Pupils will carry out a series of preparation activities in small working groups such as videos, power points, texts, articles or simply display panels. They will always be supervised by their teachers.<< Results >>The local press will be invited to several meetings to disseminate and announce the project. The students will also participate, with their teachers, in cultural visits and meetings with local correspondents, with institutions and professionals, belonging to the sectors of their speciality (trade, marketing, tourism, catering, etc. ...).To carry out the project, we will use innovative methods (team work, implementation of the project in a different framework, use of new technologies via etwinning) which go beyond the traditional school methodology, and thanks to the multidisciplinary approach (modern languages, history, mathematics, philosophy, literature, art, music), the motivation of young people will be enhanced and the acquisition of social and cultural skills will be promoted. European pupils, but also coordinators and teachers, will thus develop and improve their knowledge of languages, in particular French, since it will be a communication tool. The activities will help us to cultivate respect and tolerance towards European cultures, creating the feeling of uniqueness and the removal of prejudices, intolerance and xenophobia from the mentality of pupils, teachers and the whole community, wherever they are from. Our objective is thus to remove from the mentality of our students any populist approach to the migratory phenomenon, by implementing an analysis based on real data and which takes into account values such as human dignity. With regard to our objectives we plan to achieve results such as:(i) the improvement of human and democratic values,(ii) Awareness that cooperation in Europe makes us all citizens of the same country belonging to the european culture.(iii) Learn to accept and respect the freedom of others.(iv) Value, quantify and understand the migration.Exchanges with our partners, sharing their activities and their way of teaching, and the experience through digital tools will bring benefits to teachers. This project will help all the actors involved to learn new teaching methods and approaches. Moreover, students will be involved in several and varied projects to better understand the societal challenges associated with immigration and respect for freedom and fundamental human values."

"Since 1957, equality between women and men has been a priority for the member states of the European Union. This commitment is reaffirmed by the Council of Europe's ""Strategy 2018-2023"" for equality between women and men. Our project aims to create a synergy between several European establishments in order to ""Educate against gender inequalities in Europe and in the world"". Our consortium is made up of five partner establishments: the Lycée des Métiers Armand Guillaumin in Orly (France), project coordinator, the Lycée polyvalent Edouard Branly in Créteil (France), le lycée hôtelier IPSSEOA “Karol Wojtyla” de Catania (Italie) and the Colegiul Tehnic Henri Coanda from Targu Jiu (Romania). Our establishments have many students from very disadvantaged socio-professional backgrounds and unaccustomed to the culture of equality that prevails in more advantaged environments. This unifying project aims to carry out educational action in favor of equality between girls and boys (and equality between women and men) at school and in European societies. We can consider this project from different angles: - information, communication and citizenship (the place of women in history, the dress code, the commitment of women during the World Wars)-culture and artistic creation (the place of women and men in art or sport, artists engaged in the struggle for the emancipation of women, their relationship with the body through artistic or sporting practices);-political and professional economic world (the importance of gender stereotypes in the choice of studies and professional choices for girls, wage inequalities between men and women, the glass ceiling, the economic precariousness which affects the vast majority women, non-respect of gender parity in political bodies ...;- body, health and well-being (contraception, abortion, gender mix, homophobia ...)The objective of this project is a collective reflection to fight against:- gender stereotypes which are the primary factors of inequality;- combating sexist behavior and gender-based violence at school and outside school;- hierarchical domination of men;- inequalities in the professional world. This project also aims to educate for:- foster a climate of mutual aid and respect despite the cultural differences of the students;- federate around a universal theme (equality between girls and boys) while promoting the construction of fulfilled individuals;- develop the feeling of belonging to the European Union among pupils (and its construction as a citizen of the world who works for peace);- make European pupils adhere to a key value of the European Union (Article 119 of the Treaty of Rome lays down the principle ""for equal pay, equal work"")The four establishments of the consortium have already carried out many transversal projects in order to fight against several forms of inequalities between girls and boys (fight against cyber-harassment of which girls are the first victims, the fight against violence against women ...), this project is therefore in line with the educational policies already in place. In order to carry it out, we will use Erasmus + platforms like EtwinningSpace to make students from the three countries work. Several educational activities are planned:- in order to deconstruct the gender stereotypes that influence the choice of students 'professional paths, we will organize exchanges between a class of boys' future electricians) from the Edourd Branly high school in Créteil and a class of girls from Armand Guillaumin (future beauticians). The boys will discover the beauty trades and the girls the ""male"" trades. This activity will be shared in the form of photo repot on EtwinningSpace;- this project will also allow often disadvantaged students to open up to Europe and the world by exchanging presentations in the form of Powerpoint on the great female figures of each partner country, by drawing up a charter (in French, Romanian and in Italian) in which the students undertake to respect each other, videoconferences during colloquiums invited by actors of civil society who fight daily for real equality between women and men.The expected are:- learn the codes of successful communication;- understand the forms of verbal and non-verbal communication;-educate to mutual respect and tolerance;- raising awareness for full equality between girls and boys in Europe and in the world;-promote equality between girls and boys to the public through student productions (exhibition during open days, article in the press)"

"Title: MY DIFFERENT HERO, THIS EXTRA-ORDINARY HERO The project '' My pupil differs from this extra-ordinary hero '' follows a precedent entitled the kindergarten lever for the future education of the child. It had wondered about the importance of kindergarten in schooling. a child in our priority neighborhoods. In the description of our new project, we are part of Wresinski's approach, known as the approach of the crossing of knowledge and practices initiated by the ATD Fourth World movement. This approach is based on the fact that three types of knowledge coexist in society: lived knowledge, action knowledge, and academic knowledge. Indeed our school is located in a priority neighborhood of the city where is located in the same street, a kindergarten, an elementary school, a college, and a vocational high school. In the area, our students are destined to frequent this district for 15 years except for exception. It is an area where social and academic inequality is striking. Students are often witnesses to the physical verbal abuse of their elders. But the answers the school brings are not up to the stakes and do not meet the needs of students. The action of teachers to take students out of this scheme is ineffective and conversely maintains a fragile social and school situation. The teachers of our schools lacked from year to year of enthusiasm and showed a form of resignation ""we can not do anything, it's like that"" so we did school point. It was necessary for us as the school director pulled the teaching team of his lethargy by offering him a vision of the different schools. We proposed to fellow teachers to question the care of pupils with special needs but from the point of view of inclusion. When the project took shape, we thought it was necessary to treat it to some degree because these students, in particular, needed to be able to project on their future schooling. Our goal was: Set up stimulating, welcoming, motivating, caring and respectful schools, as recommended by the Directorate-General for Education and Culture in the document Education and Culture 2020 (2015, 11).Train the school community to care for students with special needs.Act on educational professionals to change class practices.Enter an inclusion component in the establishment project. The activities that we proposed focused on the professionalization of the actors for that we had throughout the project, themes around a fair school for all. So we explored the links between:• School and cultural diversity• Schools, territories and educational success • School and inclusion here or elsewhere, Throughout the project and with the contribution of training events in terms of the conference, exchange of practices and observation. The pedagogical team of Soliveau never ceased to question the effectiveness of its action with the students. After the formation in Italy, the team decided to revise completely its organization by setting up a pedagogy that considers that each student has a specific need. The Bulgarian, Romanian, Italian and Guadeloupean partners have each witnessed in their school, as in Soliveau, a transformation in the management of difference. Our aim is to strengthen the collaboration between the establishments of our sector in order to offer school spaces where each pupil finds his place. And that every teacher is committed to leading every student has at least one success. This project has had the merit of bringing out differences experienced as obstacles but not as levers (example: Italian-Bulgarian migrant students were highlighted during meetings with Bulgarian teachers) and to promote these students within their institution while changing the practices of teachers. As a result of this project, walls have been cut down between schools and our motto '' let's make our differences '' to help our students succeed."
