"The project ""Richtung: Erfolg!"" is aimed at forty pupils aged 16-18 studying at Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących No. 6 in Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Nazilli Menderes Anadolu Lisesi (Turkey). It aims to strengthen the students' motivation to learn the German language and develop their linguistic competence in Business German. It also focuses on the use of IT tools for learning. Other important objectives are: the development of intercultural competence (Poland - Turkey), the acquisition of skills necessary to prevent and resolve conflicts, learning with the use of innovative methods, lifelong learning, interdisciplinary learning and, last but not least, getting acquainted with the current refugee problem in one of the countries involved (Turkey). An important goal of the project is to equip the students with the necessary language skills to facilitate their subsequent entry into the labour market. The activities planned will include classes for Polish and Turkish students held during short-term exchanges of pupils, workshops with experts and innovative lessons conducted by teachers of two different subjects. Foreign language classes and practical IT classes will be based on real-life business situations in both partner countries. We have also planned meetings with professionals active in the fields of economics and law. To enhance students' motivation and to strengthen the bond between partner schools we will create a Twinspace journal updated regularly by the students themselves. The schools participating in the project ""Richtung: Erfolg!"" will expand their educational offer and the teachers involved will develop their skills in teaching German, IT and interdisciplinary teaching. They will enrich their banks of teaching tools and materials, which on the project completion will be used during classroom work with other students from both schools. The teachers will share experience with their partners using the opportunities and funds the Erasmus+ programme provides. The experience and knowledge gained during the project will be disseminated among other teachers in both partner schools and local schools, who will be invited to participate in lesson observations and use the materials and tools produced during the project."

Context2020 is a year with one huge topic all over the world. A topic that has led to many changes in people's lives. The new Coronavirus spread quickly from China to Europe and the rest of the world. Almost 5 million people in Europe are or have been infected. During spring it led to the lockdown of most countries. Borders closed and all of a sudden, society closed as well. Restaurants, cafés, museums, art galleries, sports facilities, schools... The world went online. As teachers we had to get used to virtual classrooms. We saw many students having difficult times adjusting to this new virtual life. Some got very lonely, while others found peace. Today we are facing, what is probably a second wave and some countries are beginning to lock down again. With this project we want to arise awareness of both the difficulties our students have dealt with, but also what makes us stronger. Through creative thinking we want to put transnational cooperation and teamwork in front. We have gathered a team of schools with different profiles from north to south, east to west. Participating countries are: Turkey, Spain, Germany, Norway and Denmark. The project will focus on 5 topics:1) music's influence on young people2) How to live with a pandemic3) Young people's relation to health and wellbeing4) Expressing yourself through painting and art creation5) The future after covid-19Students, participating in this project, are between 15 and 18 years old. During the 2 years, around 800 students and 50 teachers will participate at some point. About 125 students and teachers will participate in Learning/Teaching/Training activities, of which there will be 5. At Transnational Project Meetings, 3-4 teachers are represented from each country at each meeting. It is important for the project that the schools are placed in different areas and are addressed to a large variety of different social layers, because we want our project to be based on diversity.Students are going to work with: Debating, surveys, interviews, blogs/vlogs, filming, writing materials, art work, music, sports activities, presentations and much more. Some activities will be formed along the way.Main objectives:- reinforce cross-sectoral cooperation with experts in the fields of creativity, and cultural awareness.- develop students’ creative thinking, decision making and conflict resolution skills.- enhance greater understanding and responsiveness to social, ethnic, linguistic and cultural diversity- increase motivation and satisfaction in daily work- increase cooperation between students in an international scope- foster a willingness among students to include everybody through art and sports- Lifelong learning- create synergies between schools and organisations from other fields- promote a greater sense of European identityMethodologiesThe project will work with different methodologies, depending on the task or activity. Last June 2021 the 2-year KA229-School Exchange Partnerships Project, named “Bridge to a Brighter Future came to an end. It was coordinated by Italy and it included the partnership of five schools: Nazilli Menderes Anadolu Lisesi, Turkey; Tertnes videregaende skole, Norway; Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium Bensberg, Germany; Agrupamento de Escolas de Constancia, Portugal, I.I.S. fermi Filangieri, Italy. This project found its main objectives in the development of relevant skills and high quality competences, including business education.Recently, whole Europe has been involved in a job crisis never known before and especially young people are undergoing great difficulties in finding a job. Even if this job crisis seem to be coming to an end, it is clear that job opportunities are different from one European country to another and especially for young people, the situation about the labour market is still very difficult in some countries.Understanding the skills of the future is essential for shaping education and training policies particularly as labor markets undergoes dynamic transformation, driven by demographic change, digitization, extensive value chains and the increased complexity in work organisation. Thanks to our project, students were given an impulse to learn the 21st century skills, such as problem solving skills, communication skills, analytical skills, good understanding of economics markets, enjoying working as a team member as well as independently.Originally this project should have included 5LTT meetings with at minimum 4 students and 2 teachers from each school, allocated in hosting families. It was true for the first 4LTT meetings in Turkey, Portugal, Norway and Germany, but not for the last one in Italy (May 2020),because of Covid Pandemia. We asked and obtained one year refferal, but it wasn’t enough and the Italian meeting (June2021) turned into a virtual online meeting. In the meetings there was the information section about the most important career opportunities in the near future of each country.Students got in touch with training courses and job opportunities, especially linked to important economic fields. They were also taken to University to know the way they can apply for and what exams may be taken in English.Students were also shown how to create their Europass Curriculum Vitae and their language passport online and they all did it even if it was impossible for some counties to upload them into the website for privacy reasons. One month before every meetings, the hosting school had to point the most important economic activity of its country with the best growth perspectives in the near future as well as some environmental problems linked to it. Consequently the involved teachers had to create two international groups of students (each group with 10 students) sharing ideas online, looking for problem solutions, preparing a PPT about their work to be presented the last day of the meeting.Surprisingly there were also very interesting OXFORD DEBATE at the end of the presentations between the two groups about their works and their different solutions and in the end of all these activities students achieved the following goals:a network for students to be lifelong contact for the future, to share ideas/experience even if living wherever they want;a website http://www.our bridge .eu/ where all the activities of the meetings have been uploaded and all the materials are free for download.A poster of each meetingA booklet about every step to do if you want to apply for university or start a business in each country involved in this projectCreative activities issued from these international meetingsPPTs.In the meeting in Italy, we followed the same pattern of the previous ones. It was a 9-day online meeting organized via Classroom and Meet. Participating students had the opportunity to learn about the different possibilities offered by the major public universities (Rome La Sapienza, Bologna, the Milan Polytechnic, the University of Pisa, the University for foreigners of Perugia, the Padua university and Ferdinando II of Naples) and by the major private universities (Cattolica, Luiss, Bocconi and John Cabbot), being able to compare curricula, study plans offered, courses and costs to be incurred.Within the meeting, the most interesting cities from a touristic point of view (Rome, Venice, Florence, Bologna and Naples), some Italian places of greater prestige from a cultural and touristic point of view (Le Cinque Terre, Sicily, Medieval Umbria, the Amalfi Coast and the Dolomites), as well as 4 sites of historical and archaeological interest (Pompeii, Paestum, Ostia Antica and Naples Underground) not far from Formia, which is the headquarters of our Institute. In this way they also had a virtual look at the beauty and peculiarities of our cities, and we hope they could understand and appreciate the Italian lifestyle.

"According to the Common political priorities: - Europe 2020 targets: Employment; - Objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy: Making lifelong learning and mobility a reality; Improving the quality and efficienty of education and training; Promoting equity, social cohesion and active citizenship; Enhancing creativity and innovation, including entrepreneurship, at all levels of education and training. - According also to the Priorities for the School sector: Improve the attainment of basic skills; Improve the professionalism of teaching; The topic of this project will be : Employment after School in Europe In these years the whole Europe, our countries and our home cities have been involved in a job crisis never known before and especially young peoples have great difficulty in finding a job. This project promotes key competences in an international work oriented framework. In the project are involved a French school from Rillieux la Pape, a Greek school from Katerini, a Turkish school from Nazilli, a Romanian school from Baia Mare and an Italian school from Formia. All participants will be able to recognize similarities and differences in the several schooling systems, professions and everyday life and will be given the tools to work in all European countries. In our project students will be able to recognize the competences required in other countries for the same profession. This kind of experience can help students to remove the barriers and open the boundaries through an effective knowledge about other countries’ professional work. The first action was to open an eTwinning project called ""Monopoly"", and a google site where all partner countries are involved. In preparation of the project, in each school involved in the project there will be done in September a 20 hour English course for students involved in the project and in October a 20 hour training course will take place focused on how to create a company.Besides, in September, teachers and students will create on line their Europass Curriculum Vitae and their language Passport. In the project we will have 2 transnational meetings and six meetings with students (in which learning, teaching or training activities will be carried out). Both transnational meetings will be in Formia (in Sept. 2014 and in Sept. 2015). Each school will be represented in every meeting by two teachers. They will have to do a detailed activities’ plan during the first meeting and to revise the project and prepare the self-assessment questionnaire during the second. The most important action to carry out will be a competition among grouped students. Our idea is to show the partners the job possibilities in the different countries in order to give students the necessary competences which could allow them to find a work there or to create a brand new company. Students will be grouped and, according to their hobbies or their ideas, they will make a competition in which they have to create a new company, (or enterprise, or cooperative), specifying the focus, the name, the type of organization, the social status, the budged needed and so on.. The best idea will be rewarded. The topic of the competition will be different in each meeting, and each host partner school will decide it.To give to students these competences, one meeting in each country will be needed. Six students and two teachers will take part to each one.In each meeting there will be two seminars: a first one in which a host country's job consultant will explain to the foreign students and teachers his country's job problems and opportunities and a second one in which a host country's job consultant will explain to the foreign students and teachers the employment rules in his country. Also during the project a multi-language lexicon will be worked out : in each meeting common words will be translated from the English language into the host partner's language and all foreign students will learn them. So during the meetings students will have the opportunity to work in multinational groups, speak English, learn some key words and expressions of other languages. As dissemination of results at the end of each meeting, each host country will have a final ceremony in which already performed activities and results will be shown to all the host school students, to their families, and to the invited local authorities, local TV and newspapers. The most important project activities and results will be shown in the web site of the project, and in the web sites of the schools involved in the project too. There will be an affective evaluation of the project activities and its results, through the application of pre and post questionnaires. After the first year, participant students and teachers will also be given a questionnaire of self-assessment. So it will be possible to see the weak parts and make some changes in the plan for the following activities."

It is in a context of massive migration of people coming especially from the Middle-East and crossing the Mediterrenean Sea that the project MIGRANT (acronym of “Many Immigrants Go and/or Return to/from Another National Territory”) was born. The targeted objectives enabled to raise awareness of this phenomenon, to understand the push factors through time, then tu study more precisely the situation of refugees who left countries affected by wars and military conflicts and the pull factors of European countries. The participants have been able to compare the way the partner countris face this situation. This project was the occasion to exchange the innovative methods of teaching and learning of the partner countries.6 schools were involved in the project: in Turkey in Nazilli, in Italy in Formia, in Norway in Tertnes, in Greece in Platykampos (Larissa), in Poland in Katowice and in France in Lys-Lez-Lannoy. The web sites of these schools are visible on the website of the project that was created by the Norwegian partners: http://my-migrant.orgA Google site https://sites.google.com/site/migrantemergency/ was created and so was a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/migrantemergency/?eid=ARBAgdldggF0-GOggTGCg03omS2ggBqdmJ7duV-wpS_dl3eS2ocq2oqHm3NuY5nqagfIDIT71C3RIV-x During the transnational meetings, each school was represented by 2 teachers.A first meeting took place in Poland in November 2016. Didactic workshops took place, about refugees (particularly a conference by Professor Halina Grzymała-Moszczyńska, from the Jagiellonian University, in Cracow) and about innovative methods of teaching and learning (The Oxford-Style Debate, CLIL (Content and Language integrated Learning), peer-to-peer education, formal and non formal education) 4 project meetings allowed us to precisely plan the project. The second meeting took place in Turkey in September 2017. The project meetingsespecially allowed us to evaluate the first year of the project according to the SWOT analysis method. The third and last meeting took place in Norway in May 2018 and allowed us to finalize and evaluate the project.3 Learning/Teaching/Training activities (to which 4 to 6 students and 2 or 3 teachers participated each time) took place in Italy in May 2017, in Greece in November 2017 and in France in March 2018. Each of these mobilities was the occasion of visits of associations working for migrants, meetings with the migrants themselves and volunteer work of the participants with them. The students of each partner schools presented workshops on three themes:The rules of their countries and the positions of their political parties regarding immigration. The history of immigration in their countries. How to deal with racism and xenophobia in their countries.Meetings with local authorities were carried out, occasions of rich exchanges.Furthermore, creative activities took place during each mobility. The results of the mobilities were first shown at the end of each of them during a final ceremony to which the students and their families were invited. Articles were written in the local press. These results are visible on the website of the project. All the participants their CV and language passports thanks to the Europass platform. The Turkish partners created and published a newspaper about the project. This newspaper was massively distributed in the Turkish school and copies were distributed to the partner schools. The Polish partners created ans published a comic strip, 100 copies were printed and shared in the partner schools, copies that are now enriching the partner schools libraries.A game named “Immigranopolis” was elaborated by the Greek partners, one copy was offered to each partner school during the mobility in France. This game is now also available in the partner schools libraries. The most important action was the collaboration of all the participants in the shooting of a film with interviews of migrants carried out in each country, film that the Polish partners have produced. Finally, a list of volunteer associations working with migrants in the partner countries was elaborated by the Italian partners to allow the sensibilized people to know where they can get involved if they wish to.All the activities and results of the project have been assessed. The participants answered a questionnaire at the beginning and at the end of the project, so as to make the results visible.
