We will comprise all type of participants: students(11-14), teachers(different knowledges, skills & experiences around the same target) parents, school staff, local communities, municipalities, local governments, universities & administrations in a participative or contributive way. In the time period in which results of the environmental destruction are clearly seen, the importance attached to environmental formal & informal education in the institutions has increased. In our professional opinion as educators of a new generation, the expected learning outcomes of curriculums are not enough to develop skills, values & perspectives on sustainable environment education. We have concluded that educational programs in this group of countries do not include sufficient subject & student acquisition on 'Education sustainability'. So it is our main wish to use different learning & teaching approaches, prepare curricular & extracurricular activities, discuss international approaches, identify current trends in EE & ESD, to be able to implement the curricula. For the accomplishment of the project activities, we will implement different Multiple Intelligence approaches such as Science, Language(native & foreign) & Social Studies pre-defined with partners. Our activities will be predicated on living-learning environment education including Multi Intelligences, Interdisciplinary approaches, cognitive & affective skills with motor skills integrated both in curriculum & extra-curriculum activities. Some of the extracurricular activities will raise students' self-confidence & self-esteem, increase their nature consciousness, make an impact on the awareness about environmental problems globally, not only locally, & enhance their English speaking skills. These activities will comprise different intelligence areas to increase awareness & get information about other partners' countries' nature, culture, traditions, history & lifestyles. The partnership between the schools will be based on cooperation, effective communication & shared responsibilities, which are set & stated in the project application. Before exchanges students will meet online & prepare presentations as well as some materials connected with the subtopic of each meeting. This will be done in CLIL lessons aimed at improving the students’ speaking/writing skills, as well as providing communication with their international peers through safe platforms (TwinSpace). During mobility, students will take part in the project workshops, seminars & lectures, & visit important sites. They will work in international groups to make final products connected with the topic of each meeting (posters, debates, exhibitions, etc). After each exchange & the project’s ending, students will keep their cooperation by means of eTwinning, the project website, the project FB site & social media.Responsibilities will be on compliance with procedures & timing agreed among each partner country on preparation meetings at an early stage of the project. The Coordinating school will oversee the activities & ensure that they are completed on schedule, that the project objectives are met as planned &, if necessary, to make additional meetings & arrange additional tasks.Different assessment tools such as Internal & External assessments will be used to evaluate the taxation of the project & its objectives before, during & after their compliance, throughout the duration of the project. These internal & external assessments will involve formative & summative methods. For the dissemination of the project Erasmus+ Projects Result platform, eTwinning Platform, TwinSpace, project websites, school's webpages, social media profiles & others will be used to publish the results as widely as possible. Several different communication tools will be used by everyone to ensure the access of dissemination results both in native languages of partner countries & in English. As a collaboration & cooperation platform TwinSpace & eTwinning will be used to improve the activities, make & create new ones after the end of EU Funding.Students will go on communicating with their peers from other European countries, improving their English skills & strengthening their bonds with peers. The project will support students in gaining different points of view on European countries' culture, history, lifestyles, & languages in order to respect & understand them. We will work to accomplish a transformation in the minds of our students’ generation about the surrounding world, making them aware of the consequences of their actions, namely in what the environment sustainability is concerned. Ultimately, these ROOTS for life will survive in their spirits & instigate a change in behaviour in the years to come.

ArchimedeFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2019-1-IT02-KA229-063148Funder Contribution: 164,922 EURProject key concept is the ITC teaching and learning, communication means to link places and people otherwise isolated, but also symbol of union and connection between persons, races, peoples.Really and ideally the computer brings safety, it's a helping hand towards the other side, a mutual aid agreement.Because of this prerogative of merging, the computer can become vulnerable and helpless, as it represents, between reality and metaphor, a danger for those who want to isolate and divide,The project concentrates on the concept of computer analyzed from three perspectives:•the computer like a tool•the computer like a cultural state•the computer important in the economyThe priority objectives are:•developing among young people a sense of belonging to the European Union, making them aware through experience of active European citizenship•living the Union through the practice of equal partnership and constructive contribution, comparison of diversity•increasing skills through alternative and innovative didactic methodologies5 partners are joined in the project,Italy,Bulgaria,Romania,France-Reunion Islands,Turkey and 160 persons, staff and students, will take part in the mobility. To these persons will be added students and teachers of the host school and stakeholders, local authorities and students’ families. Therefore, totally 200-300 persons will take part in every meeting The common element of the partners joined in the project is given by the presence in each school at least of one technological Lab and Internet connection that, symbolizes integration and inclusion, and attitude to communication and need to know and learn.Participants will have the following characteristics:Headmasters, teachers who take on a strategic role,to allow a relapse of the benefits of experience in training, student and relations with the local community students, attending the high school 4th classes or lower, highly motivated, acting as mentors to their peers and organize forums, self-managed debate else through the conscious use of social networks5 mobility of 2 different kinds have been planned, 1 in each partner country: the first that involves 1 teacher and 4 students of each partner; the second concerns the school staff, involving 2 persons of each schoolThe activities that will be held during meetings will be of different types. Some of these, such as cultural visits and meetings will be directed to all participants; others will be specific to the type of participants. In particular, teachers will interested into activities related to knowledge of the national school system, and knowledge of methodology used in each school. During meetings the progress of the work will be review and next goals will be defined. Students will show the results achieved until then.Learning by doing methodology will be used to engage in the best possible way both students and teachers. Collaborative working platforms will be widely used; in particular eTwinning platform to ensure that students and teachers can collaborate in the creation of the final products that the project plansOnline training methodology will be used to develop, in working groups, the attitude needed to work strategically, involving students in situations different from the daily ones, forcing them to think and act out from normal mental and behavioral patterns. The expected results are the creation of a website with the publication of the work carried out, specific brochures relating to the subject matter as well as other material that can be used later in the course of lectures to be held in each school.Students develop artistic cultural knowledge about other Nations, but above all they will know other social contexts, most of them strangers, often whitout the opportunity to travel. The aim is that, at the end of the project, students, through the knowledge of different life styles, different schools, different environmental contexts of their peers, become aware of the European dimension, as real opportunity at relational, occupational and training level. For teachers, the biggest impact will be the acquisition of different teaching methodologies and professional maturity obtained by contrastive analysis of different types of school systemsThe project experience should be capitalized within the school, encouraging the internationalization of the school by:•redefining teaching methods•using of the English language as a strategic tool to facilitate the access to the labour market•testing of continuous exchange of know-how with other European institutes•Creation of a figure of coordination within the educational institutionLonger term benefits are the experiences gained by the students about knowledge of other social contexts that will represent a resource that will be useful to them during their lifetime. For teachers, it will be a chance to put within their own schools different methodologies improving their didactic strategies and procedures.

The students of the Greek school and especially those who come from families with a different culture from the dominant one (students from immigrant families) showed enthusiasm for the implementation of the program and worked in cooperation with their classmates from the Turkish school (with whom they had previously implemented a common cultural program) to find partners through the eTwinning platform. In the selection of schools, efforts were made to cover different natural environments in Europe, different cultures and languages of populations that do not belong to the most culturally strong countries in Europe. Schools with a certain percentage of students from immigrant families were also preferred, in order to take advantage of the special cultural background of these students for the implementation of the program. After the group of partners has been appointed, students from all partners schools worked together for about four months to design the program under the guidance of their teachers. The objectives of the project concern:1. the study of the language, popular culture, literature and art of the countries participating in the program as well as the students of each local community who come from different cultural backgrounds,2. the study of the river/ lakeside natural environment,3. the study of the value of the river / lake for the local community of each area,4. the examination of the degree to which the development projects of the river / lake of each area are carried out in terms of sustainable development and protection of the natural environment. The implementation of the project will be carried out with the guidance of specialists in each professor's field and with the participation of parents and relatives of students. The aim of the activities is to highlight the particular cultural identity of the participants and, through the search for common elements, to address this peculiarity as part of the common European heritage. The program will be attended by 10 teachers from each school and the students of each school are interested in getting involved. Students' parents and relatives will also be assisted. Twenty-two students of each school will visit the other schools to collect the material necessary for the activities and present the work that will have been done. The activities to be implemented will concern:1. the study of the flora of each region and the creation of a phytology with samples of plants, flowers and herbs of each region.2. the communication with specialists involved in the protection of the natural environment as well as with representatives of companies operating in the area, 3. the writing of a common dictionary of the languages of students participating in the program, including words related to water,2. the writing of an anthology with legends, myths, literary works referring to the river / lake of the region,3. the creating of an album with folk art, paintings and river / lake-inspired sculptures,4. the collaborative writing of a common history and painting by the pupils themselves on the river / lake. Objective of activities with cultural content is to emphasize the common elements in the projects to be examined, so that pupils can understand the common origin or the mutual cultural influences between the nations of Europe. It is expected that these activities will recognize the value of the particular culture of each pupil and thus make it easier for them to join the school and local community. At the same time, the value of the common European heritage and the need to protect it will be highlighted as a means of ensuring the peaceful coexistence of Europe's nations whether they are members of the European Union or not.The publication of the results of the program and the material that will have been produced on the website of the program as well as the participating in activities and attending relevant cultural events of local people will extend the outcomes of the project out of school to the wider local community. Finally, the projects that will be produced can be enriched in the future after the completion of the program with new material that will add new pupils attending the school and coming from a different cultural environment as migration to European countries is strong and will result in more and more students from different cultural backgrounds attending European schools. This will extend the long-term benefits of the program in the future.

For that reason, we must begin to mobilise in the search for a society that acquires a more sustainable development model. We all know that children's unhealthy eating habits, lack of physical exercise and sedentary lifestyles are a very serious problem that has recently emerged, especially due to the time they spend indoors using information and communication technology. This problem has become more and more worrying, due to the lack of time for parents to provide children with healthy home-made meals, which increases cases of obesity in adolescents. In addition to causing a wide range of physical and mental health problems, overweight dramatically increases the risk of developing obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, among others. Sport has the invaluable capacity to motivate students and make them participants in their educational process, which will have a positive impact on their future personal and professional careers. The specific objectives can be summarised as follows:- The main objective of this project is the exchange of good practices and methodology in the study of healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.- To improve the relationship between students and their school in order to reduce school absenteeism.- To be proactive in sustainability, encouraging the use of recycling inside and outside the school.- Raise awareness of the importance of climate change.- To use innovative strategies through sport and food to offer a holistic education.- To improve teaching through cooperative work with partners.- To break down stereotypes and improve coexistence.- To value Nature as intangible cultural heritage.- To lead change and innovation in the educational field and to establish the school as a social dynamizer.- To reduce by at least 50% the number of fast food consumers in our target group after 2 years of project implementation.- To contribute socially in the search for a healthier and more sustainable society.- To increase awareness of the benefits of healthy and sustainable eating to at least 70% of the participants.- To increase the physical activity of students to a minimum of 1 hour per day (60%) - To develop and increase knowledge about the wide range of European sports and cultural diversity. - To raise awareness of the real benefits of active and healthy living and eating behaviour for children, parents and school staff.- To understand the causes and consequences of obesity, practical ways to combat the current trend of sedentary lifestyles, how to become more active and spend time practising outdoor activities. In short, young people will develop skills and competences such as teamwork, creativity and initiative necessary for their personal and social development, for their future and to be active European citizens aware of democratic values."
