"General OverviewMARHER's objective is to identify key competences of a new professional, innovative and creative figure, able to make the most out of values and stories: the Heritage Marketer Heritage Marketing can take a fundamental role, connecting our past to the future. Valorising Corporate Heritage does not mean simply telling stories but ""communicating through stories"", that is, creating narrative universes through which a company enters into an emphatic relationship with people, managing to arouse emotions in public. Markets are increasingly becoming narrative arenas where, alongside the intrinsic quality of products, the ability of brands and companies to know how to evoke a universe of stories, traditions and values (cultural and ethical) is fundamental to stand out among the competitors. Therefore, being able to craft stories and portraying company values is becoming a crucial skill to master to exert an attractive value towards increasingly attentive and aware customers. Project Objectives1) Definition of a NEW PROFESSIONAL FIGURE: the Heritage Marketer2) Creative and INNOVATIVE TRAINING, able to support SMEs to promote, in terms of marketing and brand reputation, their own history and their brands and products- Enhancing competences in order to develop the Heritage Marketer figure;- Creating a training course on strategies and tools for Heritage Marketing, problems and solutions linked to heritage marketing and corporate storytelling- Creating training focused on narratology and corporate reputation, corporate traditions, heritage valorisation. 3) IMPROVE EMPLOYABILITY of low-skilled and unemployed and recently graduated who, in the periodic employment rankings of recent graduates, are systematically in the last positions. Improve unemployed people's chance to compete in the job market.4)IMPROVE THE COMPETITIVENESS OF EU COMPANIES by enhancing what characterizes and differentiates Europe from other continents and markets: its secular history.Interested Target GroupsThe project wants to elaborate on new teaching materials aimed at three crucial components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem: young potential entrepreneurs, professionals within business support organizations (accelerators, incubators, development agencies) and current entrepreneurs. Intellectual Outputs OverviewIO1 includes a GEOGRAPHICAL MAP of Europe to show users simple sheet describing best cases of Marketing valorisation, the storytelling of corporate stories and tradition applied to enterprises in EU in order to use them as show-cases of heritage marketing potential at local/national and international level. It will aim at showing different practices and supporting potential participants in advancing their professional development. Moreover, the consortium will gather open access information on which of the existing models have been implemented in order to successfully apply storytelling in SMEs. IO2 is the definition of the guidelines for a skill-set of fundamental competences for the new figure of the Heritage Marketer’s CV. Skills-set means here a combination of hard and soft skills that are necessary to build a series of competences, knowledge and skills useful for the Heritage Marketer to work properly on content to boost brands, products and services. The guidelines for the skills-set will have as a basis the competences identified by the most recent studies on heritage storytelling, heritage valorisation for content production.IO3 will consist of the creation of a module learning for the definition of hard and soft skills that are fundamental for the new Heritage Marketing figure. From the point of view of the learning activities, the module will be based on case studies of Heritage valorisation analysis of European firms collected during the project (IO1). The final assessment at the end of the module will consist of the evaluation of a heritage content produced by the students, replacing more traditional methods of assessment (questionnaires, essays etc.)"

The EU is more and more promoting a transition toward a “circular” flow in the economic system. The transition is needed because it tackles two main problems that affects the union: unemployment and environmental challenges. Unemployment is still major issue for EU nowadays and likely will be in the following years as the rate of economic growth still lags behind and while most of the environmental target in Europe 2020 are close to be achieved, a well documented need for knowledge , abilities, values and attitudes are still needed to create a proper equilibrium between society, the economic system and the necessity of reducing the impact of human activity on the environment. The ESSENCE project aimed at covering the gap in those fields primarily by empowering the trainers of future entrepreneurs but also enhancing the knowledge of policy makers by supplying counseling material for policy-makers inspiring them to enable better conditions to change production, transport and market paradigms. The project has reached different category of persons, in particular professionals coming from, green enterprises, startup incubators and accelerators, universities and research centers, VET and Higher education suppliers, Development agencies for an total of approximately 400 participants reached by the project. Main project activities were related to the production of four thematic intellectual outputs. 1) The design and development of a Smart trend Map of circular economy startups creation in Europe with a focus on waste business (IO1). 19 cases from all over Europe have been included in the Smart Map. 2) The design and development of a conceptual Mindmap of best practices and open access material on Circular Economy entrepreneurship, focusing on startups cases (IO2). The Mindmap includes over 170 references. 3)The elaboration and development of a toolkit of training materials to help Startup trainers/ Entrepreneurial Coaches supporting new entrepreneurs in the field of CE with a focus on waste business opportunities (IO3). The platform is available online in 6 languages (English, Danish, Italian, Greek, Spanish, French). 4) Data collection and development of a Policy Library to gather policy advices from partners and stakeholders to the benefit of policy makers and stakeholders (IO4). 32 documents representing local, national and international policies have been included in the Library. The project organized as well a LTTA, with 18 participants representing of the different target categories, and 3 multiplier events (Spain, Greece, Denmark) to disseminate project results and further involve stakeholders from the different countries. The partnership behind the project was formed by the different types of partners, which applied a collaborative methodology emphasizing each partners' specificity. Scientific partners have collaborated closely to ensure that the scientific content has been of high quality and the teaching material was accessible - yet challenging - at the same time. Representative institutions have exploited their network to gather all the needed data to fulfill the creation of IOs and to properly disseminate the project. Incubators and entrepreneurial institutions have both supported the creation of outputs exploiting their internal competences and gathered the attention of practitioners and professionals in the startup world. The projects aimed at having a long term impact by giving trainers the ability to increase their knowledge and affecting positively on many different generations of entrepreneurs. All the teaching materials are online available for every professional to use, igniting a virtuous loop of knowledge in the Circular Economy environment, supported by the contemporary improvement of policy maker knowledge expected through the use of the policy library tool. Both of these project results have been designed to have an impact measured over time (future entrepreneurs, future decision makers about CE regulations) through the empowerment of knowledge base and training personnel.

Digital skills and cybersecurity are becoming e more and more relevant, as proved by the recent institutional focus on the area. This is a result not only of the technological development of the world, but also as a means to deal with the unemployment in the EU. The Tallinn Digital Summit of 2017 sent a strong message that spoke about the need of digital skills and learning: “To successfully build a Digital Europe, the EU needs labor markets and training/education systems fit for the digital age: there is a need to empower and enable people and to ensure that no one is left behind.” SMEs have often not realized the importance of the digital transformation for their businesses yet. For European enterprises to compete, grow and create jobs they must ensure that they have access to a large pool of people who can lead the high-tech innovation and transformation of their business. For all these reasons, the aim of the ENGINE project is to train entrepreneurs, employees of small and medium enterprises about cybersecurity and blockchain technologies to foster digital transformation of Europe. Indeed ENGINE will create a tailored made training considering the target group needs. The ENGINE training course will be practical, short and concise with a short learning cycle focused on increasing the level of awareness of cyber attack and market opportunities through blockchain tech. It will focus to improve the capacity of people and companies to prevent, protect and react in front of cyberattacks and to contribute to create a safer digital Europe. Moreover, the training will transfer relevant knowledge and competences necessary to initiate and guide ICT-related innovation of SME's in all sectors (e.g. blockchain). The general objective of the proposed project is to increase the competitiveness of European SMEs giving them the skills they need to defend themselves against cyber attacks and boosting blockchain tech use in SMEs. Nowadays cyber risk management and assessment are considered as backbones of a secure IT environment, this project wants to improve cybersecurity management skills of SMEs by filling gaps in SMEs in partner countries and to provide a comprehensive guide to foster SMEs exploitation of blockchain and protection from cyber attack. The general objectives will be:• address the current shortage of people capable of leading the innovation needed to boost the competitiveness of European companies• take advantage of innovation opportunities to make the best use of ICT delivering value to European SMEs• strengthen entrepreneurial and digital skills to promote new digital jobs in EuropeAs mentioned before ENGINE Project is targeted towards SMEs entrepreneurs, employees and VET providers and trainers. The general objectives will lead to three specific objectives and so at three concrete results:IO1: Development of a Training Course on cybersecurity and blockchain to increase the awareness of digital perils and the importance of adopting preventing measures in the working environment.IO2: Creation of a Guideline on how implement cyber security and blockchain in SMEs to increase competitiveness and innovationIO3: Creation of a Platform to transfer the knowledge to the target that will be available online and open sources so it will provide for everyone simple information to put in practice, in order to support SMEs employees to prevent cyber attacks. Therefore, ENGINE project will develop training materials accessed via MOODLE platform, which enables SMEs to take cyber risks into account and deploy their cybersecurity activities into the risk management processes of the organization taking into account the international standards by making an assessment of this model on the basis of cross-regional and multi-cultural business domains. Thus it will be possible to mitigate cyber risks to an acceptable level in SMEs,. ENGINE will also support the exploitation of blockchain technologies as business opportunity for SMEs by demonstrating some viable business models and projecting concrete opportunities for SMEs.The partnership is composed of 7 organisations from 5 different European countries. The Leader Partner will be DANITACOM The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark, the other partners will be: DTU the Technical University of Denmark, Fondazione Luigi Clerici (it promote in Italy the empowerment process of the person at professional and at personal level by offering professional, cultural and social training), The Hive-FVB (an italian certified business incubator), BIC INNOBRIDGE - Bulgaria (its main goal is to support and implement entrepreneurship and innovation initiatives at all stages of development), Atlantis Engineering S.A. (Greek ICT SME) and Coopèration Bancaire pour l'Europe (Brussels-based European Economic Interest Grouping). All project information and results will be available in openaccess on the website and learning platform which will be available for three years after the project
