Abstract

Thirteen demersal and pelagic fish surveys by Courageous in the Great Australian Bight and North West Shelf. Species include including Chinaman leatherjacket (Navon ayraud), Swallowtail (Trachichthodes lineatus), Red snapper (Trachichthodes gerrardi), Jackass fish (Nemadactylus macropterus) Jack mackerel (Trachurus declivis) and Ruby fish (Plagiogeneion macroleas)goatfish (Mullidae), threadfin bream (Nemipteridae), lizard fish (Synodontidae), scad and trevally (Carangidae), pufferfish (Tetradontidae), bigeye (Priacanthidae), emperor (Lethrinidae) and to a lesser extent sea perch (Lutjanidae). Length, numbers, and weight were determined. This data has been republished (2022-09-05 with additional details of each occurrence where they can be one of three types: catch composition (counts per taxa and optional aggregated weights by trawl event), catch measurements (length and/or weight) of individual taxa and/or catch specimens and their stored location. The occurrence type is recorded in occurrenceremarks.
