Abstract

Este herbário tem o objetivo de ser depositário das coleções botânicas do sudoeste do Estado de Mato Grosso. O acervo reune amostras botânicas do Pantanal, do Cerrado, e de áreas Florestais do domínio Amazônico (Floresta estacional Semidecidual, Floresta Ombrófila Aberta, Floresta Ombrófila Fechada), além de amostras de plantas cultivadas advindas de estudos etnobotânicos e agroecológicos. Os grupos depositados compreende: Briófitas, Monilófitas, Licófitas, Gimnospermas e Angiospermas sendo o último o maior grupo.
