Abstract
Herbarium of Kherson State University (KHER) was created in 1945. It has more than 31 000 specimens of vascular plants (12000), lichens and lichenicolous fungi (14000) and mousses (1500). There are more than 100 type specimens of species described from Ukraine. Mainly, it is lichens and lichenicolous fungi.
