The Rondonian Herbarium “João Geraldo Kuhlmann” (RON) at the Federal University of Rondônia Foundationwas established in 2009 with funding from the Financing Fund for Studies, Projects, and Programs (FINEP). It is linked to research lines in plant biology and plant systematics within the Research Group on Biodiversity Studies of Southwestern Amazonia. Its main objectives include documenting the floristic diversity of the state of Rondônia, training human resources, and facilitating exchanges with other herbaria. The collection currently holds over 10,000 specimens, all of which are available online with photographs. #-------------------- O Herbário Rondoniense “João Geraldo Kuhlmann” (RON) da Fundação Universidade Federal de Rondônia foi criado em 2009, com investimentos do Fundo de Financiamento de Estudos de Projetos e Programas – FINEP. Ele está vinculado às linhas de pesquisa em biologia vegetal e sistemática vegetal do Grupo de Pesquisa Estudos da Biodiversidade da Amazônia Sul-Ocidental. Sua finalidade é o registro dariqueza florística do estado de Rondônia, formação de recursos humanos e o intercâmbio com outros herbários. Atualmente conta com mais de 10.000 amostras, sendo todo o acervo disponível online com fotos.
